      @@ryanmoeller3308 what a small world! I tried Vertical church twice and was turned off by their coffee bar they had set up in the lobby. Like a Starbucks inside the church 🤦‍♂️ oh and for some weird reason the worship team started playing bad blood by Taylor Swift on stage… idk, weird vibes all around.

    I’m definitely guilty of this. At work I can sometimes have the attitude regarding what I will and won’t do based on how long I’ve been there.. Need to humble myself and be a servant

    Thank you for calling out covetousness as a virtue in today's culture. Even Christians have fallen for it, excusing the rampaging looters in 2020 and continuing on today. It's now just accepted that certain groups have a right to do whatever they want because they claim to be oppressed. It makes me so angry. There's ZERO concern for the business owners (whether small or large) or the law abiding people who suffer by their actions because goods are in short supply or stores are damaged/destroyed/shut down.

    Excellent semon on pride! The pride movement makes me sick and there were times in my life when I was proud! Pastor Jeff. I was curious what bible you preach from? So love listening to you and what you do for the unborn! "Gutwrenching!!" Always, with 🙏's and love.

    • @somexp12
      @somexp12 Рік тому

      "Pride" as regards the "pride movement" is simply there as an answer to externally imposed shame. Has nothing to do with the sorta "pride" you're thinking of. Individuals can have varying levels of actual arrogance, but the only thing universally "prideful" about them is refusing to internalize criticism coming from an illegitimate source (i.e. you). "Pride," in this context, only means, "no, we're not so insecure as to imagine you had anything useful to say."
      I say all this with the awareness that "Pride" is currently pursuing an agenda I disapprove of, but that consciousness is not going to make reasonable people take seriously your fixation on a stupid word.

    Wow @ 7:16 that quote from LDS's JS shocked me! Then again, his followers preach that they will be MORE powerful than Jesus Christ, and one day be a literal "gods" of their own planets. If that's not pride, and idolatry (creating your own false Christ and false god ) then I don't know what is.

    For those who didn't know Iraq is Babylon. I disagree agree with jeff here. The kingdoms of the earth still exist just in a different form of government. But still the same in the way they rule. The kingdom of Babylon is still an existent but in another form

    • @ApologiaStudios

      Babylon was destroyed as God promised. To say that it wasn't is to say Scripture is wrong.

    • @tinawantland398
      @tinawantland398 Рік тому +1

      Iraq is where Babylon used to be, but that kingdom was indeed destroyed. Any government, in the same region as Babylon was, is an entirely different regime, “kingdom”, government, power!! Certainly some of the familiar practices of an ancient ancestral culture are somewhat in existence there today, but there is zero connection to the ancient kingdom.

      @@ApologiaStudios let me ask you. Do you deny that every country has someone ruling their people? Wheather it be a king, prime Minister or even a president. All countries are a Kingdom of some sort they may have changed a little in the way their are operating but in essence it remains the same either way. Ergo kingdoms today still exist. They all provide, food, water, shelter, military enforcement protection and economica stability for the most part. That is a kingdom my friend to the people. The government who rules the the people has dominion over the people.

      @@tinawantland398 no Babylon was renamed as Iraq. But Babylon is still Babylon in essence.

    • @tinawantland398
      @tinawantland398 Рік тому +1

      @@terrencemcnally3453 Throughout world history, “kingdoms” have been conquered and renamed. The terrestrial location is the same, the kingdom is not! I’m not certain, but I do not believe there are any people who call themselves Babylonian today. But if there are, then they are simply referring to their ancestral family, not currently where their citizenship is. I met some people yesterday who refer to themselves as Persian, and certainly they can do that, but we know it as Iran today, and that government is far removed from the Ancient government/kingdom of Persia, and it defers greatly from the rule of the Shah of Iran that was ousted in the 80’s, which that regime was different than the ancient nation of Persia, but the citizens under his rule, can rightly claim descent from them, as many Iranians still do to this day. The truth is though, the Persian empire ceased to exist when it was conquered by Alexander The Great in 334 BCE…or BC as I prefer to call it. The Babylonian empire ceased to exist in 539 BCE…or BC, ironically, (or as I believe, according to The Bible, providentially) by the Persian king, Cyrus The Great.
