Chand Chupa Badal Mein - Instrumental - Ben Fernandez and friends

‘Chand Chupa Badal Mein’ is a popular tune from the Bollywood movie ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ with music by Ismail Darbar.
This is an instrumental version of the tune performed by Ben Fernandez - piano, Russell McNaughton - bass and Ron Samsom - drums at Ben Fernandez’ Birthday Concert 'Memories are made of this' at the Lewis Eady Showroom, Auckland. Ben was a part of the music scene in India for many years before moving to New Zealand in 2004. He played on the popular TV show ‘Movers and Shakers’ that was aired on Sony TV. The host Shekhar Suman would often sing this tune alongwith the band when there was a break in filming. This tune certainly brings back memories of India and the music scene there.
Ben is a Jazz pianist, composer, arranger and educator based in Auckland, New Zealand.
