Too bad about the audio glitches. And I wouldn't consider Chloe Chua as the "little darling" of Singapore's violin scene. She is the T-Rex Intergalactic Laser-Wielding Bow-on-Fire violinist of anyone's violin scene. Underestimate her at your peril.
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does anyone know a way to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost the account password. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

When the tourism opens up again, I wish I get to listen to her performance live in SG. Such a prodigy playing notes distinctly and musically, and the most wonderful thing is she enjoyed while she played.
Chloe performed Vaughan Williams's "The Lark Ascending" with ReSound Collective in front of a live audience in the Victoria Hall on 2 April, i.e. pretty much when you made this comment! Happily, her performance is going to be posted soon on ReSound Collective's YT channel.
Her playing shines with beauty, and is flawless. I can't listen to anyone else play violin, I'm so spoiled by her fantastic playing. PRODIGIOUS is an understatement.
While I'll admit she is very talented, I have no problem I not only can listen to others playing the violin, but moreover I prefer to listen to Himari Yoshimura, even more talented.
Wow!!! She's amazing!!!She plays like an "old violinist", she's very mature for her age. But I've to say that the Orchestra "has tried in every way to put her out of time" especially during the last theme...she was great to play in time!!!!
During the hard semi quavers after the rit the orchestra were a beat ahead and she had to skip a group of semi quavers to get back in time before the octaves !!
@Ian Finlayson With "old violinist" I mean the maturity not the "boring"- The accompaniment in the presto is not syncopated but on the upbeat (the pizzicato of the violins for example)t. I've played it many times in orchestra and I know the score. The orchestra is out of time,
@Ian Finlayson :-) Yes...young Chloe in an amazing player!!!! I didn't want to sound presumptuous, simply in the final it is Chloe following the orchestra and not the other way it should be :-)
There are other recordings of this where the accompaniments rushes a full bar ahead of her and she has to catch up. She should be leading them, not the other way around
A beautiful face, a beautiful dress, a fine orchestra. A performance beyond her years. Hello from New Zealand. I would pay $5,000 to attend that concert. Thank you for posting this.
It’s hard to believe she is only 11 years old. She is so adorable and talented. Definitely deserved to win the first prize of the Menuhin international competition.
@@leekangswee651 I don’t know their dates of birth and I only go by the news. In all the news about their achievements, the reference has been to how old each was at the time of the event. It is better to acknowledge that Chloe is not the sole winner and that Christian is younger. Let’s leave it at that.
Young Miss Chloe, this performance sounds like you've been practicing for 40 hours a day for 40 years! Absolutely breathtaking! From 9:56 on to the end, I honestly think I'm hearing violin perfection! One of the most outstanding performances I've ever heard! Keep up this great work! Love, peace and respect from Oklahoma, USA!
Thank you so much Chloe, you are absolutely and utterly Sensational, you play like an absolute Angel and you are really really talented and clever and a Genius too. I really really love ❤️ and enjoyed watching you.
Funny to see the other kids running around not able to focus their attention on the music for 10 seconds, while she, the same age, is playing something on a level that would take normal violinists 15 years of practicing 5 hours/day to accomplish.
Thank you so much Chloe, I really really enjoyed watching you create such magnificent music 🎶 Your playing is out of this world. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags

lovely music but the noise does not do justice to her playing. Is the noise caused by not having wind shield over the mics? I notice that the noise comes on when the field camera is 'on air'. Noise could be removed using post production video editing. Don't use the audio from the camera but from the stage mic recordings. and if it's a multi track recording, would be easier to mute off the mic that is causing the noise. For outdoor sound recording, it would be good to have wind shields on. I am not the expert, but I would think this should be able to improve the quality of the recording. It's such a beautiful piece, but the resolution of the video with Full HD or 4K and with better audio recording would have done justice to her playing.
Her harmonics are clearer than the air two million years ago
