    Thank you...Yes, it may seem boring to some, to have someone basically hold your hand when constructing a circuit, but, it does give one the confidence needed if they are new to circuit building and schematic understanding. Especially since most people with diy vids always end up skipping critical steps and just expect people to realize how to build it because they include a schematic. Just that alone will deter someone from building it because of their lack of knowledge and confidence.

    I have been using a TCDC device of my own making for about six years. It certainly has boosted my cognitive abilities. I use a basic small volume control to address controlling the intensity. As a side note, I would add that it seems to actually help with manifesting things. In other words, they say that your thoughts have power. In my case, I give more power to my thoughts. Whether it's related to the documented effect that thoughts seem to have at the Quantum level of reality or not, my attainment of things that I want to bring into my life seems related to the use of TCDS. Consider that possibility. Prayer, meditation, etc. all brought up to another level with the addition of more power...So, be careful what you wish for.

    So I'm sourcing parts for this project. Good to Go! Thank you for the prompt. However, that "37 Ohm Resistor" is an awkward single part to find. I can a) take another 100ohm pot and set it to 37 ohm, b) sub the pot and resistor out and fix it at 137 ohm, or c) couple some resistors in series to make up a 37 Ohm equivalent. Do you have alternative configurations for this project using standard, easy to source components? e.g. I can get the Siemens LED but this appears to be a suitable alternative - Knightbridge WP710A10LGD LED; and Trimmer Pot - 3296W-100R. I should mention that I live in China, so these things should be easy to source - but are not.

      There is a 10% variance in resistors, so a 36 or 39 are just fine. You can also hit exactly 37 as you guessed by either combining other values or just using a pot. I just put 37 because that was the exact value by calculation... Thanks!

    I think there's a typo in the schematic. 7V / 470K = 0.015 mA. At this point the LM334 is doing nothing. To get 2mA, maybe you meant 4.7K? (even that would max at 1.5mA through a short circuit).

    • @ericnelson3365
      @ericnelson3365 4 роки тому +2

      I would say, .25 watt is more than enough, power = voltage times current, and 10 ma times 10 volt (actually more like 7) would give .1 watt, so this gives plenty of room, as even a short at the output is limited by the 470K, (maybe 470 ohm) resistor.

      From what I've read... The cons of TMS, The unit is much larger, plugged into the the wall, more expensive, + must be administered by a professional , located someplace other than your own home...
      Whereas tDCS is much smaller unit , powered by a battery, is a inexpensive unit which is purchased or really inexpensive if you're a DIYer, can be administered by yourself, in the privacy of your own home
      The caveat is that more research more and knowledge should be obtained for the individual wanting to use tDCS as there's not many checks or balances in place for usage.
      How cool is that🙄🤣
      Use at your own risk.

    Very good video, appreciate all the detail and good camera work and dialogue.
    I have an issue, wanted to ask anyone who can answer. I built the project, and think it was OK. I put a 470 ohm on the output, and could get 2 ma. However, when I connected electrodes, either direct stick on or with the sponge, I could not get to even 1 ma. To measure live current, I measured voltage across the 470 ohm and calculated current. It should be .47 volts for 1 ma, and close to a volt for 2 ma. I could only get .2 volts. I really want this to work, and I know I probably have something wrong, but could someone who has this working measure actual current with electrodes?
