So cool that you are in a german speaking country! It's correct that we use to say "Sie" if we talk to persons we don't know😊
🤣🤣 I literally Lol-ed when I read ‘it was a horrible plan..’ love the travel vlog 😍
I’ve been watching you for so long, crazy how much you’ve grown!
i know right!
I've been waiting on this video!!!! I love when y'all vlog your travels...it's like you take us all with you❤️🌎✈️
I went skiing like 2 weeks ago in Austria and I already miss it so much. You make me want to go skiing again!☺️😍
The views are beautiful! Everyone did great at skiing. I remember it is tough having a small hill off of the chair lift to get to the ski hill. It is tiring being in ski boots all day they are big and clunky.
me, as a german dude watching ur videos for yeeeeeears, having such a big smile when hearing some perfect german words ;)
Yes, you would use “Sie” for basically any stranger and/or person older than you in some kind of position of authority. Although it really depends and especially amongst young people, it’s becoming more relaxed (you can usually use “du” for strangers if they’re roughly the same age or younger), when in doubt, use “Sie” just to make sure :)
Loved it. Brings back memories of when I went to Austria and Germany.
regarding the formal/informal Sie/du... people usually go by "Sie" until the "Du" is offered, for example when you start a new job you talk formal to everyone untill they offer you to go by "du"... also, fun fact, I'm from Austria and there's this unwritten rule that above the height of 1000m (like when you'e hiking, skiing etc.) everyone goes by "Du"
My tip: eat as much of the local food as possible
Yeah, wtf is up with eating McD in Switzerland??? Y'all nuts?? :D
@@Rogue_Six there aren't that many fast food restaurants in zermatt tho and sometimes you just want something quick and easy, besides, Switzerland is expensive af, I literally ate traditional swiss food like 3 times out of the 2 weeks I was there lol
I'm going tomorrow😊 so excited
Omg love you guys! I hope you had an amazing vacation!❤️
I love your vacation videos!
Found you today here 😁 welcome in Switzerland. I‘m living near Zurich 💕
Great vlog as always💖
This looks so much fun I'm afraid of hights but I will do it
I’ll wait for you to come to Italy🥺
You guys should do what is in my travel bag.
I went to Switzerland and went to the same places. It was gorgeous!
A tip for carrying skies: lay them on both arms horizontally, with the poles on top. That way you can divide the weight.
I went to Zermatt and other Switzerland places 2 years ago and its literally one of the prettiest places I've ever been to. I went to the same mcdonald's and my hotel was so similar to yours, it even had one of those elevators haha
If you can understand the people around you, they’re probably speaking “normal” German (Hochdeutsch) tbh. Swiss people can generally speak both and it’s not uncommon for people in a big city like Zürich, especially since they also have lots of German tourists and expats there. Not saying your German skills aren’t good, your pronunciation is actually great, but even Germans tend to struggle with understanding Swiss German... there are a lot of local dialects when it comes to German, but Swiss German is one of the dialects that deviates the most from Hochdeutsch I would say
couldn't have said it better
i know im randomly asking but does any of you know of a way to get back into an Instagram account??
I somehow forgot the account password. I love any tricks you can offer me
@Clayton Lyric instablaster :)
@Finley Maxwell I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now.
Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Finley Maxwell It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my account!
I work as a lift operator in a beginners ski resort so you remind me of work and the kids in the magic carpet
McDonalds in Switzerland, swanky. Very expensive in Montreux, after that it was all local food for me.
The reason that your tickets weren't checked on the trains is because the Swiss people operate on a sort of "honor system"! Everyone trusts each other to respect the rules, so it is just assumed that you paid for your ticket. Occasionally someone will come through and check tickets, so it is important to have one because otherwise you can be fined.
i live in switzerland!!! i reall< hope you enjoy it!
Love this 💜
we say „Sie“ when we don‘t know the person we‘re talking to or when the person has a higher position, for example our teachers, our boss etc.
hope you enjoyed Switzerland. I am Swiss and live near Zürich!
and the Coop is not a gas station shop or whatever. it‘s our normal grocery store😇
Thats right 😁 Swiss too lol
yes, we actually say "sie" in german☺️
No way! you were in Zermatt and I live near Zermatt!
Can we get an explanation in the next video as to why it was a horrible plan? lol!!
