Two very different clubs. Brighton had a strong start but are now easily a bottom half table team, Bournemouth had a tough start but have improved so well and are now playing as a top half table team.
Brighton best possible starting XI is still a very strong team but obviously they got something wrong in preseason with all these injuries. I am negatively surprised by Igor , He had a couple of great seasons in Italy with Fiorentina while this year He has been so bad
completely different club when their recruit members were recruited to other teams and only young players were recruited. also March and Mitoma can't play with injury. can't blame Dezerbi. it's recruit failure. no players could be replaced of the 2 wingers 🥵

Brighton were not equipped for playing every 3 days, really unlucky with injuries as well. De Zerbi is still a quality manager
Ok I did not think this would happen. Crazy things are happening this season. I wanted to see a Brighton victory. I do have to give Bournemouth the header tho that was brilliant
This downfall of De Zerbi and Brighton is very reminiscent of Leeds under Bielsa..Brilliant football to begin with, but an absolute train wreck after awhile! Hopefully Brighton can pick themselves back up though
Our entire team has picked up long term injuries at some point this season, so it's hard to gain any momentum when the players you build your tactics on are unable to play
Losing macallister, caicedo and having a lot of players injured has really hurt us this season. We have a lot of young players who are inexperienced, I’m sure we will do better next season.
People won't mention the injuries Leeds had under Bielsa though. They played better than many teams they lost to.

11W 11D 12L, we had too many draws with bottom teams which is affecting now.

De Zerbi refuses to adapt despite so many injuries. He has no plan B and can’t organise a defence. His inflexible system only works well with squad depth to rival City’s. But it’s all good because copium has kicked in - Brighton should never be ambitious but be grateful for just staying in PL 👏

This Brighton team is very lucky that they had a good start this season. Next season this team will be fighting to stay in the PL as I do not see them getting any better ....

Mitoma is injured and won't be back till next season.
He was overused while March, Fati, Enciso were injured. when they come back, he got tackled and worsen his injury. should be alright in May but they don't want to have any risk.
And the tackle was horrifying too. People thought it was a career ending tackle

the last several games he didn't play well and need to rest to avoid injury. He got injured every 4 games. now it's maximam. He's fantastic with Mitoma but Brighton decided no loan next seaon cuz he got injured easily. Barca want him back without injury to sell him this summer. if he got injured again, Barca would lose enormous money and DZB would be critisized by them.

The team has been struggling in the back most of the season, and recently, doesn't know what to do with the ball and keeps risking it in a quite stupid way (I do get why, but it's not working anymore)... In my opinion Brighton is an open book and everyone knows exactly what to do to counter it... And for some reason De Zerbi is not doing anything to resolve it or change something at least.
