Theoretically speaking, this could’ve happened in Sonic Forces. Boom Sonic could’ve replaced the Custom Character considering the whip thing that he has but eventually they must’ve thought “Hey not many people like Boom Sonic” and So they scrapped him entirely.

Tbh I do like the design of boom Sonic. It'd of been cool if they made him apart of the main timeline, rather than another world. It just looks like he's aged a little with the height and added spikes. Fitting since he is older.

Eh I think boom sonic is more deserving because dreamcast Sonic is basically just modern sonic but with worse moveset and controls and a 90s rude 'tude that honestly I think roger blends perfectly with Griffith's friendly sonic attitude. Boom sonic on the other hand is from a completely different universe.

why everyone hates Boom Sonic? I honestly liked his games.
Boom Sonic is my favourite version of Sonic. And although I’m not a huge fan of Rise of Lyric or Shattered Crystal, Fire and Ice and the TV show we’re both really good!
Because some of the games were kind of meh. Boom does have arguably the best show in all of the sonic history though
I actually like the gavin quach boom sonic a bit more cuz of the spin dash but that's just me
I recommend you try it out of u haven't, genuinely. To make it work with HMM, you need to edit the file in Hedgemodmanager to version 1.1 and it should work.

For me the 3 sonics are the Classic Sonic, Griffith Modern Sonic, and Craig Smith Modern Sonic.
modern sonic with the griffith voice & the one with the roger voice are the same sonic just with a different voice so dont consider them 2 separate sonics because they arent they are literally the same sonic
