This song is so nostalgic for lots of us 70s kids. 🫶🏾
Oh yes ❤
We know the words... No matter how long it's been since we last heard it 🎉
Amen dude!!! The 70's ROCKED!!!🥳🥳🥳🎵🎼🎶🎤🎹🎸🥁🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘
"Can you dig it? Yes I can!!" The legendary band from the 60s to the 2000s one of the greatest of all time.
Yes it is Geoff...
I miss you so much Jay and your insightful reactions to all kinds of music. I really hope you are well and living your best life. Much love from England ❤❤❤
What happened where is he?
I wish I knew. I just hope he is well.
Yay! Chicago! I AM HERE FOR IT! Such a wonderful and nostalgic and timeless piece too! Yes, anything by Chicago can be great 'road trip' music, we should know! I appreciate you for reacting to such an awesome group. I enjoyed this reaction! ☮ and 💕
One of my favorite Chicago songs. It paints such a vivid picture of a wonderful day at a city park. Definitely a feel good song!
OMG those opening bars and that storyline. Love this song!!!
Love anything Chicago does. Have seen them in concert and they are fantastic and put on great performance. Thanks for this. 👏👏🇨🇦
So much Chicago to explore. This brings back good feelings of carefree highschool days. Dialogue is pretty great
Robert Lamm is the lead singer on this song, with Peter Cetera supplying some additional vocals. This song paints a picture-perfect day. I've loved it since I was a kid.
Robert Lamm sang lead with Peter Cetera coming with the harmony.
Jay, I’m a 40’s kid, a great grandma, who loves rediscovering music with your reactions. Tonight, you were truly entertained and so was I while watching you. Chicago’s Saturday In The Park was just what the doctor ordered. I want to thank you for adding joy to my life. I love music too. Bless you. 😊
Yes he found someone, Love of my life for her. He left her 90% of his estate.
WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER
Oh man, does this song bring back memories when I was a kid and we would all go to the park on Sunday afternoon after church and I would hear this song from the lowriders cruisin around the park. I've loved this song ever since!
You mean Saturday in the Park😂😂😂jk
@@ritchiec6317 I knew that was coming 😄😄😄
Any CHICAGO song is a hit!!! They are definitely of the top 5 bands ever!!!
Good one Jay. I havent seen as many reactions from you, for a while. You are one of my first favorites. I love your stuff
I really like this song. You're looking good as usual. So glad you're back.
This is definitely one of my favourite Chicago songs. It is so NOSTALGIC. 😩💕
I've been enjoying your reaction vids for a few years now ....good work brother I gotta say and glad to see this great song...one my fav bands of all.
I was working this morning and just thinking I haven't heard from JayVee for a while and here you are. Excellent. 😁😁
I was 13 when this song was released. Shame about the lead singer's tragic death. 😒
When released,, many would choose this beautiful classic for their wedding song (including my own sister..R.I.P. 🙏❤️)
Chicago "Colour My World"
Not Peter Cetera on vocals. It is Robert Lamm keyboardist extraordinaire! Peter is singing backup mostly here.
Terry Kath also singing
@@Kate98755 True, I didn't mean to forget the great Kath!!!
Dialogue 1 and 2 is fire live. Lead vocals from both guitarists Terry Kath and
Peter Cetera. Back and forth. Really really good! AND FUNKY!💃🕺
Hey Jay! Miss you, hope all is going well with you and your family... Hope to see you here soon! 💕
Such a great song!!! Great band!!
Gah, I love this song. Listened to it with my parents on 8-track. Quintessential 70s.
I graduated high school in 1976. I took my first year college level music theory in my senior year. Chicago is the ultimate in music composition, in my opinion.
Great song nice to see you Jay
Hey, Jovaughn! Boston C here. I love that it's about 23 songs in one!
JAY!! 👋🏽 Good to see yeah. I hope you’ve been doing well. Great reaction. 👍🏽 Thank you.
Ive always liked this song
Almost 1am here in London, was about to switch off and roll over when you popped up.. good to see you back jay, love this song
Always enjoy your reactions Jay! This song is really uplifting ❤
Hey Jayvee where are you. You were one of the 1st reaction channels I ever watched. Come on and get back into it:0)
they are a really amazing live band.
The intro had 80’s TV all over it! If I didn’t now better I’d have said Golden Girls - Thank You for Being a Friend.
Robert Lamm is the lead singer. Peter harmizing.
Yes, and Peter does take the lead occasionally, but it is mostly Lamm.
Terry Kath comes in too
Outta nowhere. Gone!
Early 70’s are definitely my favorite
Their sound changed when Terry Kath, their lead guitarist passed away back in 1978.
Robert Lamm and Terry Kath are singing lead
I stand be be corrected but I think Terry Kath (sp) was on lead vocals here. This period was their best IMO.
Sorry it was Robert Lamm (keyboardist) with a little help from Cetera.
Terry Kath has such a lovely soul vibe to his songs like Make Me Smile and Colour My World.
@@marikka9347 you’re right.
Miss you Jayvee!
It's been an absolute pleasure watching your channel from the beginning - not only to see your music knowledge grow but also to see you mature as a wonderful human being 🙂
Ayeeeeeeee one of my favorite 70's bands! Thanks JoVaughn!
Hey Jovaughn! Great to see you. 💜💜💜
Great song, great band, great reaction!!
Great to have you back and sound great reactions like this one. Also, I was the 100th “thumbs-up”, so that’s cool, too, in an OCD kinda way! 😁😁😁
Oh yikes! I’m not seeing new videos! I hope everything is ok with you! ❤❤❤
I met my husband at a club when this was just out. We saw them play & the horns were so important to the music. Thx
I was around 11 or 12 when this song came out. Me and my cousins loved this song! My Dad would get mad cause we were listening to HIPPIE music.😂
We miss you brother. Hope you are well.
Happy Friday to you! 🌞
Another great tume you are sharing with us! ❤
Have you ever played:
" Mama let him play! ~ Kerry Doucette ". Its an okdie, yet fantastic!
Anyone know why he stopped updating his channel?
I don't know, but he retweeted something in January of this year, so he's still kicking at least. Might just be living life.
It's been 7 months since his last reaction. Must be some reason why he stopped?
Love that you’re back 😀
Didn't realize how much I missed you until I ❤heard your theme❤
Thanks for coming back
Hey great to see you again
Wheres Jayvee?
So happy to see you! ❤
This song is one of their early big hits with keyboardist Robert Lamm providing lead vocals. The vibe of this song always grabs me and takes me back to my early childhood "Can you dig it, yes I can... " such classic early 1970s stuff!
Love your t-shirt Jayvee. Good to see you back after so long
This is my FAVOURITE Chicago song. They paint the picture PERFECTLY - & that picture is a beautiful, warm, sunny, summer weekend day at a very large public park we have by the water in Toronto, during some sort of festival or Canada Day celebration when I was a kid in the 70s. It's a lazy, bright day with the green grass & ice cream & popsicle sellers (& hot dog carts.) They ALWAYS bring me memories of those times in that place - even though my childhood was not in Chicago nor even in the United States.
This song just creates calm & a smile on your face.
As you commented too, I love the brass in this. Their quiet, bright notes are what gives the "feel" to the time this song is capturing in words.
Where are you now? This is the newest video you have.......I pray you are safe........could you play a 1960/70s song called, 9,999,999 tears to go....?
Glad you enjoyed it! Such a happy song from childhood!
I really like this song., also If You Leave Me Now.
Nice one! Thank you!
I’m so impressed with you’re examining different genres. This is music appreciation 201! Thx
Hey! is everything ok? we miss you!
Well, we're waiting.
Hi Jay 😁 i love ❤️ man 👏 salute 🙌 always 💪
Ah, great song! Look at you bro, you stepping up workouts? Looking good.
I believe this was Robert Lamm singing lead. It was 🔥
Here's some great female singers/bands to react to if you haven't already!!
Christina Aguilera - Ain't No Other Man - Candy Man (Both Great Horns !!) Also - Lady Marmalad
Annie Lenox (Eurythmics) - Would I Lie to You - I Need a Man - Thorn in My Side
Gwen Stefanie - It's My Life - What You Waiting For - Don't Speak
Shikira - When ever Where ever - Objection Tango
Head Pins - Don't it Make You Feel (like Dancing) - Turn it Loud - Just One More Time
Toronto - Your Daddy Don't Know - Start Telling the Truth
5 months no vids
It's weird that no one has done Paul Oakenfold ft. Shifty - Starry Eyed Surprise reaction. It was on every dance floor in the 90's
❤❤❤
I missed your intro music so much!!
JV...yea we need u to pop up more bro!!
Good to see you back posting JV. Be well.
What happened to Jay? It's been 5 months.
Ok, vacay is over. Get your butt back over here! We miss ya!!❤
Wow 7 months since his last reaction where is he? has he officially stopped reacting?
Not officially, content creators never do that. They just disappear without giving any updates. It's what they do.
@@_Shadoh_ Well that sounds like a very sh!tty thing to do. You would think that all of your subscribers and supporters would at least deserve a written community update or video explaining what is happening.
Look who's back! X
Why haven't you posted for ages? Used to enjoy your videos 😢
This song always reminds me of home and when I was a kid. It really gives you the feeling of wandering around Grant Park, it's beautiful. That is where the famous Buckingham Fountain seen during the opening from Married with Children. I have to say I prefer early Chicago before Terry Kath passed away.
Aww it's been a minute since I've heard this. "Can you dig it? Oh yes I can" one of my fav lyrics.
I really enjoy your reactions, thanks for making content - you have a good vibe.
Have you ever heard Michael Franti "Say Hey (I love you)"? Fun and uplifting.
Did you quit UA-cam?
Love your videos and honest reactions! A song suggestion for you to review. I think you would love, "Rock Steady" by The Whispers. Lots of energy and smooth sound! Also if you have not done it yet, another one would be interesting to see your review on is "Jazzman" by Carole King, a great 70's popular classic! Thanks!
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Jay! 💙
On this one, Robert Lamm is the lead. Peter Cetera was also in it. You could hear both voices.
jamiroquai sunny days in sunny june is goooood toooo
Hope you're doing well, miss your reactions
I am hoping, that he didn't take "something" that wasn't acceptable
@@DebbieFan70 My thoughts exactly......this channel is pretty big and to suddenly stop posting and abandoning a channel isn't a good sign... something must have happened to him...I pray he's ok
@@One-Day-After-Another Just curious, what are your exact thoughts? I know many people lately, family members included, that are not well and in some cases... worse off.
C'mon Jay, be grateful.
Any of your great supporters and subscribers deserve an explanation, why you let your very influential channel down! 😥😒
Where’d you go brother?
So many great songs❤
If yall like Chicago, check out their influence band "The Sons of Champlin", this large band was overflowing with talent.
Did you quit UA-cam? Would be nice with an update, if possible.
Love Chicago, but I actually ended up on your channel after watching your En Vogue reactions. Anyway, I have a suggestion on that front. Dawn Robinson, from En Vogue, did an album with a former member of Toni, Tony, Tone, and a former member of Tribe Called Quest, their group was called Lucy Pearl and they put out an album. I think their song "Don't Mess with My Man" is very underrated!
Just reminds me of De La Soul feat. Q-Tip and Vinia Mojica
A Roller Skating Jam Named "Saturdays"
We all ways called Chicago the Powerhouse! Band!
Hey man, if you want some good cries, listen to “Boston” by “Augustana “
90% cry rate!
such a great song
Lets Go!!! But first a stop to the Bean,
then, LP! Home again.
my 60th next year! 😮
this song and Rush's Lakeside Park.
they're a two-fer for me!😊
