Reading your book many times reminded me of Psalms 23. David was a good shepherd because he didn't even spare his life to save everyone of them. Jesus is called the fine shepherd and he himself is likened to a sheep (Isa.53:7) and his father, as the creator of sheep is the most caring shepherd himself. (Ezek. 34:11-16) Isa 40:11 'like a shepherd he will care for his flock. With his arm he will gather together the lambs, And in his bosom he will carry them. He will gently lead those nursing their young.
