You are very welcome mate🙂 It's only fair I give my honest opinion on a product, if it's terrible I have to say so. This is only my opinion based of my experiences though, if someone is watching to make a purchase decision it's always a good idea to watch multiple reviews from different people👌
First time ive seen actual "friction" shocks, most of these rc cars have a fake shock body with a spring, at least this actually has the friction mechanism for damping, actually seems decent for these smaller lower budget cars
100% man, we normally call what is technically a coil over shock friction shocks when infact they are in no way friction active shocks🥴🤣 But no I don't think I can recall ever seeing what is literally a friction pad or grommet in a coil over shock giving it some proper dampening and rebound, as you said it's working well on a little car like this👌
Seems like nice little car, besides the electronics and shocks. Though it may double the price if upgrading them.. Looks nice, always liked the big rock appearance. I have the 1/6 Magnitron, not crazy fast but veeeery impressive! especially when it's roaming towards you at 50mph :)
Actually the shocks turn out to be OK with a drop of thin oil, the rubber friction dampeners inside the were dry but now they work good. The Magnitron does look nice👍
What a bizzare little creature this one is... Looks like there's ample room mate for you to do some surgery on!... Will be interesting to see down the track :) Reminds me of a one of the muppets that looked like a sausage dog years ago lol Thanks bud, Enjoyed it! Take care - Jimbo ⚡
Yes absolutely, I was going to change it to brushless anyway as you most likely knew already😅 so it's a good reason to do the conversion next video and we can really see what the build quality is like👌 Thanks as always Tim😁
truck looks great and is tough as hell, wonder if the controller has limited range, try binding a better controller, especially when you go 3s 😀👍👍 cant wait to see it on 3s 👍👍😀
Yeah I was actually quite surprised first seeing the build quality, super tough components💪 I don't think it's possible to use the stock esc/receiver 2in1 with any other controllers but I'll be changing to brushless so I'll need to swap out the 2in1 anyway. The range wasn't the main problem because I could stay close, the glitching and bad steering response was the worst thing, it was just crazy how it just took off in random directions😆
Thank you mate, I really appreciate it🙂 Honestly that is exactly why I bought one to review, I paid $169 Australian and it just seemed a tad too much but considering I paid $239 Australian each for the Typhon and Granite Groms I though maybe it would be a better option for some people. If your looking to upgrade I think this is a great option actually now I have done it myself, might upload the brushless video tonight, it's a weapon now😅
That's an Arrma Big Rock Grom😅
Exactly my first thought😆🤭
Very nice. 👍 Props on always putting out a good, honest video. Regardless of the truck you commit and give us all info. Thanks a lot.

That catch/slam was smooth! 😂
Nice content as always.
I got some catching up to do 😅
Almost sounds like a legitimate trick doesn't it, the catchslam🤣
Thanks heaps Jeremy👍
Good video. As bad as the electronics and steering are, it's a good thing that the chassis is really tough.

Left you a like and a comment brother. Local hobby shop had these in last year. Didn't like the look of them for the price.

Is the lettering on the side removable?
It's a sticker so yes it's removable.
@ thanks
Does it share parts with the grom?
No definitely not
