Timbaland Names The Top Producers Of All-Time
Вставка
- Опубліковано 15 лют 2016
- I talked to Timbaland about the top 5 producers and kept it real with him and said the top is Dr Dre & Timbaland. He denied the fact that they paved the way just them two. He also added Kanye & Swiss because they moved culture and changed culture, it isn't just about making beats.
Talking about how Timbaland put baby girl Aaliyah on the level she is was will forever be a highlight of my career. - Розваги
Can't leave out DJ Premier, my personal favorite producer. Premier's beats fit the artist on it like no one else's beats.
Agreed
100% agree with you. Can't leave out Jermaine Dupri as well since the Kriss Kross era.
@@omardelmar I don't think he made any tracks with a 'lil' rapper, or any mumblers, so I'm sure a lot of people won't know about dj premier, aka primo, aka preme.
Davante Swing doesn't get his props
And he put Timbaland and Missy on!
Yeh and Devante definitely changed the culture of RnB back then. Guess Tim still bitter at how he felt he was treated
I know R. Kelly is left but he created a whole wave with creating his sound for a couple of eras.

@@christopherowens6391 - Great list. I would add Norman Whitfield if the list was mine.
He forgot the rza. You know damn well the rza was on some totally different shit.
RZA was pioneer on movies samples
In my mind RZA didn't really move culture, though. He's no doubt in my top five, but he doesn't really fit Timb's criteria. RZA is almost so unique, so iconic, and so niche that you CAN'T replicate him.
@@lafudge2929he moved underground culture which is just as impactful, just on a longer timeline.
Deep words from Timberland. He's actually right. Beats should have a voice and soul, changing the music culture. Dre, Timberland, Pharrell, Kanye, and Swiss is also my favourite. Although, I'll add Ne-yo as a producer as well especially in music movie soundtrack productions.

Neyo doesn't produce
Neyo a writer.

Devante is ever producer of RndB ...no one is like him...Timberland how can you forget your teacher Devante
Devante even gave him the stage name TIMBALAND
Bc that’s who style he emulated
Its surprising to know that he didn't mention Devante' Swing from Jodeci. Especially knowing that how he and Missy came up witnessing that man craft. But hey, thats his opinion
From what I heard, a lot of crazy shit happened with DeVante Swing in the Bassment Crew/Swing Mob. He was supposedly abusive towards his proteges, according to Stevie J. (Yes that Stevie J. from Love & Hip Hop, was a protege of DeVante's as well). Don't know if they ever got over it or still resent DeVante for that.
Timbalad, Magoo, Missy Elliot, Ginuwine, Tweet, Stevie J., Static Major & Playa, were a few members of Swing Mob.
@@HappyRoach1 DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR OR SAY. ANYWAY, TIM WOULDN'T HAVE GOT A SHOT UNLESS DEVANTE HADN'T PAID HIS WAY TO THE BASSMENT BY BEGGING MISSY. HE IS JEALOUS OF DEVANTE. HELL DEVANTE IS A GENIUS-HAVEN'T HEARD OR SAW WRITTEN THAT TIM IS. 2O20

Kanye influenced music heavily at least 3 times.
