Yvonne, they are all beautiful, and crusty. As always beautiful job. I love both pumpkin stacks. Im not much of a mushroom person but i love those as well. I do craft with them though because its not about what i want and i have to say everything iv done i like, but they were all transfers from IOD. I was visiting Wisconsin and went for a walk. There was a home I passed with one of those tiny pine cone trees. I knocked on the door and asked if I could pick some. The lady gave me a lunch bag and said fill it up! I did just that and have used them for years now. Wasnt that such a nice lady?❤

Those tiny pinecones are from Hemlock pines. I had a Hemlock pine tree & we cut it down, but I collected all the pinecones I could, & love using them for crafting!

Look up an artist Pam Stocamore. Sadly she passed away suddenly.
Her paintings were all about exploring textures of metals and color saturation. She worked distressing metals and oil paint pigments on paper. The richness of colors she was able to achieve was beautiful. Layers of color.

Genius idea to use the decoupage/rice paper on those pumpkins, who'd have thunk it would turn out so lovely? Yvonne!! That's who!!! I love them, though not a fan of the owl, it did really pull it all together. I have to give it try with my stashed pumpkins. I've done fabric and sweater pumpkins, but just never thought about using the paper, thank you for the inspiration!! And don't you just love the DG birdies? I sure do. All of these decor pieces turned out real nice. xx
This is an absolute first for me EVER to have any complaint about ANYTHING you do! Your beautiful mushrooms and your pumpkin stack were so covered up that that were just lost in there. The overall look was pretty but a bit confusing for you to go to so much trouble with these pieces and then hide them away! I’ve not seen you do quite like this.🤔😞 Still forever a fan of your projects though.
The problem is the mushroom is too big for the-lantern ..crowded in there..

Have you tried black chalk paint with cinnamon and chili powder pressed into it? I use it on tin cans and it looks just like rust. I spray it with a clear sealer and it stays put.

The lantern was precious with that mouse! Oh, the rusty crusty on the next! And those birds were perfect in that little box cabinet! All the first pumpkins are cute, but my heart goes to harlequin! And the pedestal made them click! The stars and berries made the second bunch of pumpkins! All were precious!❤

maybe STEAL, some ways to use birds in my decor, and I'll be using copper as an accent metal because that's what I love! Thanks Yvonne, this is gonna be fun!

Love it all, the little fabric mice I use to sew them years ago and make long tails and used for bookmarks, they were cute and yours reminded me of them. 😊
When I tried Ukrainian egg painting there is a board with thin nails acting as a drying surface for the eggs. May help you with painting smalls. You can probably make it.
Do you ever do reverse-painting on your clear glass projects? It would create a mossy effect without needing so much greenery. Cute projects.

Those mini pine cones are actually from a Hemlock tree. I grab birds all the time. I absolutely love the stacked pumpkins withe the owl. Ohhhh the smaller one is so stinking cute. 😊❤

I’m kicking myself right now. I got rid of all my styrofoam pumpkins now I’ve got to go Dollar General store to get more. Cuz I love your 3 tier pumpkins. My favorite was when you used the tissue paper. Adding all those embellishments just melted my heart. Above all these great creations the green cubby stole my heart.
Don’t know if it will be on EBay , if so I hope I have a chance in getting it fingers crossed 🤞. It’s so much fun watching you create as you can tell by your voice just how fun your having in making them.

I had to watch my grandkids tonight. Guess what we did?? Styrofoam pumpkins and gourds. We used white wax and sticks from our side.😊 So funny you are doing them too!😊

Oh my word!! I always enjoy your videos and creations but being the lover of fall that I am, this video hit me in the heart!! I ABSOLUTELY am in love with these projects. Although I thought I had fall decor finished, I guess I’ll start round 2 with a trip to Dollar General! Any tips for hiding the light switches and still keeping them accessible? Today's projects are all so stinkin cute! Love each and every one of them. Going to DG tomorrow! I hope I can find everything so I can copy your ideas (I'm sure you don't mind copycats!) Question...do you clean the brushes you use for wax or just keep them in baggies? TFS Yvonne this was a GREAT video.
I clean them with Dawn dish soap. Tried the Bag thing.. But it till hardened. Ruined a few good brushes that way.
I use cheapie chip brushes for wax on small projects, and do stash them in small plastic bags if I'll be using them daily or often. I only use good brushes for nice furniture projects and do wash them as I'm done to save for next time. It's up to you and how you use them.
The led lights are fun do they make them with a warm light bulb? Fairy lights?

I really love the way you decoupaged those little inexpensive pumpkins. I have a ton of those from when I used to decorated my office before the days of working at home. I was actually considering tossing them in the trash since I dont decorate for Halloween anymore and nobody wanted them. Brilliant idea!

I am not a fan of the rusty look and you do go a little heavy on it which takes away the look of the other things in the piece. Sometimes less is best. I have been a crafter for a very long time and maybe I am just set in my ways. I do like most all of the things you craft and try to do some of them
