That snare sounds unreal man
I know right?!
Nice and sharp, but could use more ring imo
@@exxusdrugstore300 normally id agree with you, but i think they kinda nailed it contextually with everything else in the mix.
This song has been ringing inside my head for a couple of weeks now. No complaints whatsoever.
Haha awesome - thanks!
I love the aesthetic of a single blue-headed tom.
Still to this day this is the best prog song for me. Stellar work on the drums! 4:34 gets me everytime haha
I found you guys on spotify and this song immediately got stuck in my head. Great drumming!
This is such a good way to open the album, after the tension building 'The Herd'
One of the most under rated drummers at the moment! Sick playing Ben!
Man, sounds excellent Ben!
Jeff Randall thx bro
this video deserves more views and more of everything good, from the video and audio quality to the performance: everything awesome!!! Keep it up, Ben; I hope we all can play live and do music with our respective mates very soon!
Definitely an Awesome PlayThrough, Well Written And Well Played Every Part Was Pronounced, Sounded Awesome Ben 👍👍🎶🎶🎸I Can Listen To Your Album For Hours And Every time Hear It Come Alive In a Different Way Each Time. Rockin An Awesome Musician.
Perfectly mixed
That Recording Custom snare compliments your Sabian setup SO. WELL. You’ve really nailed your sound, man.
Wow! This is really great stuff Ben! (as usual!😎👌)
Super creative and ever changing grooves ....with plenty of fireworks!🎉🥁💥 🎊
I love the way the power builds up as the track progresses. ....p.😊
Great track. Love it.
Great job Ben! The playthrough is flawless and the album is amazing as well. Two thumbs up!
love the wash on the ride.
It is futile to count the number of times I've re-listened to this song, especially the insane section at 5:27.
Absolutely mental Ben!! So awesome, so insane
5:26 and forward blew me out of the chair. Amazing!
Yes! Definitely one of my favourite tunes from this album! Keep up the hard work Ben!
I love playing this tune live!
@@BenMinal hell yea saw you dudes at your Brighton show this tune went OFF!!!
KILLER Prog Rock Sounds!!!!!! Those HH are perfectly suited for the slightly unnerving dynamic changes in Toska music, which I LOVE!!! And that china sounds like if a bunch of contemporary classical percussionist got together and made a china!
I love your banging in Congress. You and Dave Turncrantz are my favorite drummers. Both you guys kill
Thank you! I love his playing - what a beast
Awesome vid! Next time you do a play through like this it would be really cool if there was a behind the scenes. With a camera in the corner of room recording Rabea (I presume) walking around the kit filming. :D
Dude, my ears, are so happy!
Mega. Well done, Ben.
great song, great jam, awesome camera work.
Excellent! Powerful Sound!
Two things, Bea and you both need a congratulatory beer after mixing/tuning that snare sound and congratulations on the fucking ghost notes, my dude! Crisp and silky sounding! Great track and great drumming!
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘Hell Yeah!! Toska all day! That’s such an awesome track!
That HH crash omg
Still best of snare sound in 2020
Hey Ben, I always wondered,
Your cymbals, are they natural or brilliant finish?
Sick playing (as always) and amazing tones I’ve got to be honest. Big up to you and Rabea for making this vid sound so good!!
Awesome drumming & a great video! Love your creativity & the open handed approach, I'll will sure be borrowing a few ideas fro you ;)
Would you mind putting the gear used in the description or something? It sounds great and I'd love to see what you used!
🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤❤❤........
Is this the new Yamaha kit or the one you've always played? JW cuz the snare sounds fit xo
Awesome stuff. 8, 12, 16? Love it
Ben, what song would you be doing next? I'm planning to do genghis for a talent show soon.
man, amazing drum and camera work! not a shadow of rabea in sight :o ninja's move in the dark i guess.
One shot!
damn, I really gotta get myself one of those evans hybrid snare heads
Hey ben, could you explain the super weird yet cool "offf-beat" in Abomasum's chorus ? Thx
You're a beast man! 🤘 I honestly find this drumming style way more impressive than constant blast beats/fast drumming.
Also, those stacks sound killer. What's under the 18" O-zone?
Holy china 19"
@@jayechristian9697 Awesome thanks! That combo sounds great
@@JpDubbed i know right!
Hi Ben, Are you still on the speedcobras? If so how are you finding them? its been about 2 years now right?
Are we going to get a transcript of this??
Metal! (Y)
What snare is that?
Ben plz give us drumless track T_T
Is...this one take?!
It is!
HOW DO YOU COUNT ALONG TO THIS?
111111111111 as fast as I can 😂 joking aside its built up over lots of practice and counting sections / muscle memory
@@BenMinal I've learned the song on guitar but I couldn't tell you what time sig any of it is in 😂other than some 12/8 bits I think...
i think the whole track is at around 156 bpm, if that helps. Ben might've just played it to a click track at that tempo..idk
So... I'm gonna be that guy. LOL.
What do you think of the new Sabian Logo?
HAHAHA. LOL. #TheHateIsReal.
Just a reminder I'm not hating on the logo. Just curious on what everyone's reactions.
your toms are upside down 😂
Too much splashy metal work and that china!?
i disgree
I like the splashy splash ;(
Disagree

Ben you should try the holy china from sabian if you haven't. they're fantastic!
