@Charlie Robertson Rental karts are the best option for me both financially and time-wise. I'm still at an intermediate level, so indoor karting helps me to improve and learn the main concepts of driving. The level of competition in the championship I race is quite high, most of the drivers are also competitive professional kart drivers.

I really wish we had more karting like this in the US. We don't have nearly as many tracks and there's nothing like Club 100 afaik, just individual tracks with their rental karts.
i like it how he's trying to talk about racing lines and understeer, when he clearly drifted the whole race. Even Takumi Fujiwara can learn something from here
127 genuinely is fast everyone I know whos used it has had a good race, look at most the race winner its 127, so was the recent lap record set in 127. Couple others are good but majority are clapped out and break down too often.
I keep wondering, is there an issue where people know X is the bad one and Y is the good one, and fight over them, or are they assigned randomly, or are the numbers swapped around? if the numbers are swapped, maybe you could mark the fast one in some way (like a scratch or something) and find it that way?
@@Ashalmawia they don't swap the numbers for the dmax, people know the good ones but the karts are randomly assigned, it's all luck whether u get assigned a good one or not, if ur kart is rubbish send it back and hope u get given a better one 😂

Hi SuperGT, I'm very used to drive Sodi RT8 in endurance karting series at Spain. Obviously, I don't know how the tyres wear and compound were in your session. However, I would argue that the understeer problem is related with your driving style. With the RT8, it is essential to rotate the kart at the corner entry with the brakes (they are equipped with rear brakes only) . That will massively help you to turn into the corner with no steer inputs. Then, keep the rotation with the throttle until the corner exit. With that techique, you eliminate the understeer and you keep the revs higher while controling the controled drift/rotation with the throttle. Try it
I had 127 when I went up and it was rapid, only had it in quali though as it was stalling and refusing to start afterwards so I got put into another kart a second slower than 127 for most of the race until I had the exact same problem as Super GT on the same corner with a wheel coming off lmao
Only just getting onto this video. Watching through them and I went to this track before you did! I went to it 2 years back. It’s so good and the karts have good power.
the karts i use at my track have the same feature you cant dubble peddle but we figured out if you just hold the throttle down all the time and hit the break when you need to you get back on the gas instantly
It'd be really cool to have a video with some karting tuition/tips for people getting into it. Just an idea, but there's alot of content that's basically "slow in fast out, racing lines etc" but something more indepth to get faster would be amazing! big love xoxox
Wow what a qualifying lap time!!! Absolutely blitzed the opposition. That marschall clearly spoke non-sense saying that you wouldn't be allowed there. 10/10 would super gt again!
Great vid. I've seen some commercials over here in the US for the BMW Competition. It looks like a damn monster car! Congrats dude! (US equivalent for 'mate' I think)
For those who go racing with families in the karts SuperGT used in the beginning. He is absolutely right that the understeer can be atrocious in these karts. If you've got ok control of the kart and you you need to make a sharp turn, try forcing it into a very slight slide. It can be done with the brake pedal if the understeer is so heavy you can't simply by steering. When you get good at this it becomes faster than slowing down and turning. NB: This only goes for karts that aren't set up correctly for the track or the kart itself is too narrow for the conditions.
Awesome mate, great to finally meet the legend that is Super GT ;-)
A pleasure to meet you and thanks again for inviting me down, it was good fun!
