I’ve heard the same thing which is why I’ll stick with the stock intake but do the downpipe/tune option on my ‘22 Supra. Do you think there’d be an advantage to change the charge pipe though? Some people say no.
@@clplusp8762Changing your charge pipe is usually just for handling higher boost, smoother airflow, and if you’d like meth injection (it also looks really nice if you go with a titanium one)
I did that on the S3! Open filter is a tad warmer with not air box. However these closed lids and boxes give you the same IAT as stock. The factory intercooler is plenty efficient to handle even if the filter temp was slightly more. So you won’t see any negatives from these intakes. My original MST and Armaspeed install I actually showed IAT in both videos. ua-cam.com/video/Va9oq1gmE5E/v-deo.htmlsi=ihEB8LW6bv5TYgAo

Helpful!! Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
I wish we could see some iat comparisons. A lot of us just stick with the stock intake because the aftermarket ones run hotter.

We’ve seen the MST run hotter than oem, the Armaspeed about the same to lower. The MST runs cooler without the lid.
Is that steering wheel oem? If not where did you get it?
Also who makes your carbon engine bay braces? They look beefy.
Thank you.

Do you know if any intake manifolds that done cause cel. I can’t find any info on it?
Really want to get rid of any plastic in the engine bay
I'm not too sure on upgraded intake manifolds. I haven't dove into those yet
Have you tried the Dinan?
I have not. Looks like a cool kit!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed whenever I get into a Supra that’s the one I’m going with. The history of the company is awesome. They’re BMW through and through.
@@christopherthompson9642 yeah that’s definitely pretty cool
