I'm a new subscriber who just happened upon your channel a few days ago...and have been a little under the weather, so I managed over that time to watch almost every video of yours...lol, there are a lot of hours in the day to fill when you can't really do anything...but totally worth it. You are a very personable young woman and a joy to watch as you make your way across the country...and I love any one who has a good sense of humor, and willing to laugh at themselves every once in a while...
Oh my gosh thank you!! I’ve actually been sick too the past couple days so 1) solidarity!!! And 2) I know how much of an honor that is!! I’m so glad you enjoy watching them! Welcome to the channel!!
Maddie I enjoyed Glacier National Park it was beautiful you done great job on your video an I enjoy your video so much.Have a great Week an good Luck to you.
😃.....Incredible views! I've never been to Montana but now I definitely need to make an effort to get to that park. You looked so pleasant in your element! Ever think of being a park ranger out there?
Hello miss beer 🍺 great video of an awesome hike . I remember doing that hike , but I didn't do beer and I do like you concept of a beer from every state if you do go back Montana there are many great hikes to do fall is beautiful .thanks for sharing have fun on your travels ... if you come thru Auburn , CA. Stop in the old Town and get you a beer at the Ale House , they have award winning Ales and Lagers safe travels
The Lemony Snickett bit was a deep cut- I read all of those books in like the sixth grade lol. Congrats on literally climbing a mountain though. Those are some astounding views ✌🏼
Hahaha when I thought of that, I was like “probably 5% of the viewers will understand the reference, but the ones who do will know exactly what I mean”!! So I’m glad you did!!
Hello Maddie, wow that place looks amazing!! Such awesome views and were those beavers? I’m super jelly right now!! I want to be there rather than Phoenix, AZ, it’s been an average temp of 106 each day and I’m totally over it hahaha 🤪 🤙
@@BeerinBeautifulPlaces lucky I only need to be here for a remodel job for about 3-4 more days then I’m headed towards cooler weather for sure!!! Lol 😂
The views are amazing!! Even though I live in the Rockies and have a beautiful view wherever I go, I am going to have to check this park out!! Thank you so much for sharing!
Lovely video and that beer looked yummy! For greasy dishes, id get a spray bottle 50/50 water and vinegar...cuts grease great! Add a spoon lemon juice and it will work even better:)
Thank you!! I film with my iPhone 13 or a GoPro 8 (?) if there’s water or something, use a small andycine mic, and edit with VLLO on my phone! It’s very basic but good for traveling!
Hello, I like Montana now that I've seen your video. I'll be starting my road trip tomorrow heading to Ohio via Wisconsin. Montana isn't on the agenda but will be later this summer.
What a rocky trail. That view was spectacular. The not so wildlife were unbelievable, they must see a lot of people to be so trusting. Thanks for sharing with us. You rocked this video!!
the highline and scenic point couldn't be much more different. totally different i hiked, climbed, biked, skied, backcountry camped, and fished Glacier for over 35 years. i've hiked into my "fortress of solitude" - Hidden Lake about 70 times. mostly alone.... i have well over 3500 trial miles and over 100 peak summits. how are the hikes different? east side - west side. a base to summit (Scenic) and a relatively level trail (Highline). above the tree line (highline) - through the tree line (Scenic) now.... i like beer and wish you well on your adventures. but the first thing you'll learn is the huge difference from east side trails to west side trails. the west side is fully forested with lots of thick underbrush (hike into Quartz lake from Bowman campground as an example). the east side is much more wide open (as you witnessed hiking Scenic). make noise when you hike. take bear spray. bring beer. and enjoy.........
Well, I did the two trails 7 years apart, but they were similar enough for me because the both had you walking on the side of a mountain, feeling so high up and seeing incredible sights. I know they’re two different trails, but sometimes you have to appreciate what’s available to you! Thanks for watching and your well-wishes!!
@@BeerinBeautifulPlaces you're comparing high country, which is fine. the trail to Scenic Point quickly rises above the tree-line, which is a feature of the east side trail system. the east side has considerably less vegetative cover, much like the high country of the west side. in that aspect, they are comparable. as you expand your adventures elsewhere, you'll take notice of these things. there are numerous temperate zones encompassed in Glacier. rain forest to sagebrush within miles of each other. keep exploring. start climbing!! i suggest Mt. Oberlin at Logan Pass. it's easy, but stunning views. if you like that vast never ending view, hit other peaks (Scenic Point is a peak of sorts). Mt Reynolds is my favorite climb and the best mountain view in the Park. there is a lot of 'exposure', but battle through and catch the view!! you look down at st. mary valley, Logan pass. Hidden Lake and Lake mcdonald from the same peak. but try Oberlin first. you'll be hooked on climbing I LOVE BEER!! HAVE FUN!!
@@BeerinBeautifulPlaces I used to live up in East Glacier. One day a train carrying corn tipped over and soon fermented in the sun. The bears soon discovered it and proceeded to get stinking drunk, stumbling around and all. Lol

Yeah! I’ve thought about being a park ranger before, but the process is really competitive and I’ve had enough seasonal jobs for this lifetime!
@@BeerinBeautifulPlaces Ahh...ok...that makes sense. It's just that you are so "at home" in the outdoors!
Oh yeah definitely! Most of my jobs I’ve had throughout my life are outdoors-related. Summer camp, outdoor education, resort work…

Great video and a cool hike in a beautiful place. I look forward to seeing more of it.
Thank you!!
Your so Kool, I'm trying not to be envious but happy for you 👌
Thank you! There is a lot of uncool stuff that happens to me too, this day is just an especially good one and I filmed it!
Wow that was some amazing footage!!!!! Omg what amazing mornings and evenings and nights you just be having 😊
It really was amazing mornings and evenings! There was a stillness and quiet away from all the people
That looked like a great hike!

That was a nice trail. I hope to eventually heal enough to enjoy hiking again. Until then I enjoy videos like this one a lot!!
Thank you so much, I’m glad I’m able to help! Hoping for a speedy recovery for you, too! 🙏

Oh that’s cool! I’ve been wanting a spray bottle for the water pressure alone, vinegar would be cool too
Grandes montañas
Sí!!
Breathtaking! I was hoping you'd do Glacier when you got to MT!!
Oh yay!! So glad that worked out like that! It really is “the crown of the continent”!
Wow. I have been to 46 states thanks to my job, but Montana is not one of them. So jealous. So happy for you.

It was supposed to be a comment on tomorrow’s video! But I’ll count it!
Oh! I’ll do it tomorrow too 😊
Great video Maddie. We have to go there.
Thank you! It’s really an amazing place
Make sure to hike the Grinell Glacier trail and Iceberg Lake trail, both begin in Many Glacier. there are many fantastic hikes out of Many Glacier
This was filmed a while back and I’ve already left the area! Thank you for your suggestions, though! Maybe next time!

Moose Drool is a good one.
Heck yeah!
You need to put some bells on your backpack for the bears. They say grizzly bear poop has bells in it.....
Haha!
Hiked the Highline in September with a friend and we ran into a grizzly on the trail 😳 Did you feel safe on this trail alone?
Uh-oh! And yeah, I felt safe on this trail. It was pretty popular, so I crossed paths with other people every few minutes!
What a rocky trail. That view was spectacular. The not so wildlife were unbelievable, they must see a lot of people to be so trusting. Thanks for sharing with us. You rocked this video!!

Jesus, watch out for the bears. They have their young’ens with them now. Not at that height though.
