I just feel so happy when i see that Elise posted a new video!❤❤❤
Aww! Thank you so much! 🥰
Me too ❣❣❣❣
Me three! 😊
When Saturday morning comes one of the first things I do when I wake up is look for a new Elise Rose video. 🤗😇
I love hearing that! 🧶❤️ thank you! 🥰
You’ve practiced the word 'Scheepjes' 😃 You pronounce it completely correct 👌 Thank you for the beautiful video, I love them all ❤️
Thank you so much!! 🧶🧶🧶
Greetzz also from Holland
They're all so beautiful!
Thank you, Rhonda! I love them all!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank for showing me how to pronounce Sheepjes! It’s one of my favorite yarns to work with for amigurumi and I have been saying it wrong for years now lol I absolutely love LOVE the last shawls with the Robin and the roses and cherry blossoms!!!! 🌸 just gorgeous!
I'm so glad it helped! I recently learned how to say it! And the robin shawl is calling my name!!! 🪶🪹🧶❤️
I still love Toni's Montego shawl. I think I made a dozen of them last year with the Mandala Bonus yarn by Lion's Brand last year and gave them to many ladies at church. Right now I am making a Texas Tech blanket for a lady at church going through their Veterinary program and about to graduate. I have also a woolen scarf on my knitting needles to give to a young lady heading to the Army and moving to Alaska for 3 years after bootcamp. I have so many projects and a little time to do each. LOL
Sounds like you've got some amazing projects going on!! 🧶🧶🧶
The shawls are very beautiful
I'm so glad you like them! 🧶🧶🧶
Elise your channel is so fun to listen to
Thank you so much!! 🧶🧶🧶
Hi Elise, my name is Cecibelle and I am from Panama. I loved all the shawls that you selected and my favorite was the Erulisse Shawl. One of my favorites of all times is the Ana Lucia Shawl from Wilma Westenberg, such an amazing shawl and the story behind it. Hope you like it too. I love all of your videos. Thank you for all of your work and keep on enjoy your art!
Thank you so much for sharing!! I'll have to check that one out! 🧶🧶🧶
Love the shawl.... My job in my younger years was "finishing" crochet and knit items for customers... I learned so much from it...Not sure if it's available anywhere, but a final row around edges is always right for a nice finish... play with hook size and never hesitate to shrink it in with decreases.. sharpen corners etc... i especially love the "backwards crochet" or "rick rack stitch" for keeping things rigid! Love your channel! Hugs, GrammaBabs
Thank you so much for sharing GrammaBabs!! ❤️ What great tips! 🧶🧶🧶
This is perfect! I was just looking at shawl patterns yesterday. My mom has been wanting one so for Christmas I said I would make one of her choosing. She hasn't picked a pattern yet, so I will have to show her these.
I'm so glad it was good timing!! ⏱️
Hi Elise. Once again you have a collection of beautiful designs. It's too hard to pick a favorite.
I know! They are all so gorgeous! 🧶🧶🧶
There were so many to chose from. I liked the log cabin and the capricious shawl. Write a line erase a line and the sunset diamond shawl
Those are all sooo gorgeous!! 🧶🧶🧶
So serendipitous. I just opened UA-cam to look for a fun shawl pattern for my first skein of hand dyed and drop spindle spun yarn. What lovely choices and fantastic video production.
Oh my goodness!! That is pretty crazy!! 🧶🧶🧶
The log cabin shawl is going on my list because I have tons of Special DK that I need to use. Also the Bronwyn shawl. I’ve admired it for years so now is the time to actually make it!
Wonderful!! I love both of those too! 🧶🧶🧶
All of those are so pretty! The last 3 are show stoppers for sure! I kind of like the simple ones right now tho, as trends are going towards that single color with some pretty stitch work, yet I'd have to say the one that was made for Expression Fiber Arts might be my favorite.
That one really is spectacular!! 😍😍😍
I love everything Wilma designs 💕
i haven’t particularly wanted to make a shawl but i’m definitely going to be making at least 1 of these. your excitement for crochet is infectious! 🫶🏼
I'm so glad you enjoyed them! I want to make them all!! 🧶🤣❤️
Oh my goodness…Adinda’s work is amazing!! Might take me a year to finish but what a happy project!❤
That's exactly how I feel!! I just want to make one! 🧶🧶🧶
Hi Elise Rose. My fave is the knit-whimsy of the Capricious Shawl. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for including mij shawl!! ❤🥰
You are so welcome, Wilma! It's such a beautiful project! 🧶🧶🧶
Love it . Those designs all make me happy. ❤❤❤❤❤😊
Me too!!! 🧶🧶🧶
I want to make them all! Beautiful, beautiful shawls.
Me too!!! 🧶🧶🧶
Agree 👍
I love the kaleidoscope shawl by yarnspirations I love the Robin shawl that you showed us 💓
Thank you so much for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
@EliseRoseCrochet your very welcome I love your channel 💓
First of all I have noticed in the last few videos how beautiful your skin is!!! I made my first quilt at 9...it was a log cabin out of red and white gingham. It started with 1 inch squares, 1/2 inch, 1/4inch and then a solid red. Do my pick is the Lincoln log you showed. I have a mix of yarns to use up. But they were all just gorgeous!!! So are you!!!
I love all these shawls!!! Before this video came out I was already making the shawl from TL yarn crafts that you shared. It's soooo beautiful!! Love your videos
Ooooh! That one is just soooo gorgeous! 🧶🧶🧶
I am ready to crochet another shawl.
Wonderful! 🧶🧶🧶
I love to make shawls! I going to have to do some of these! Lol! I need some stash budgets too.
I love this collection of shawls! And some of them would make great stash busters! 🧶🧶🧶
I should have mentioned that bag o day has some beautiful shawls too. Some of them are pretty easy to do but lovely. Great for a beginner!
I need a shawl for my desk!
I hope you found one you like! 🧶🧶🧶
I love Bag o Day's 3 D Reversible shawl. One row repeat or maybe 2, at any rate it is beautiful and so easy to throw in a bag for on the go, which I always have packed.
My favorite that appeals to me is the Log Cabin Shawl. Has so much potential for creativity with one’s choice of colors. Thank you for the presentation! 🎉
I love that one too!! 🧶🧶🧶
Ok Elise you have added to my yarn addiction today. Why do you have such good taste in patterns. I usually buy at least two patterns each time you have a video. I couldn’t resist buying the browyn shaw by Toni. She is such a joy. I also purchased the rainbow colored shaw that could be made in a solid color. So beautiful! Thanks Elise for your content. I get happy when I see the notification of a new Elise video.
I'm so glad you enjoyed all the patterns!! These really are a special bunch! 🧶🧶🧶
I have added two of them to my to do list. thank you
I'm so glad you found some to make! 🧶🧶🧶
Wow to all of them. My favourite is the Hygge Scheepjes Shaw and thank you for the link. I have only ever done Granny's before so not sure how long it will take me. Wish me luck xx
Wonderful!!! That one is soooo gorgeous! 🧶🧶🧶
I just started a project I have been wanting to do for years. I'm making a Dr.Who (Dr #4) scarf! Just working on it brings me so much joy. I know it's knitting and not crochet but I do both and I love your channel. Happy Stitching
I will try at least one. I have lost my crojo and this has made me excited to get back into it.
That's awesome! I'm so glad you're feeling inspired again! 🧶🧶🧶
These are all spectacular! I cannot pick a favorite bu hope to make several this year!
That is awesome!! I'm so glad you liked them! 🧶🧶🧶
Oh my goodness Elise, which one to make first, they are absolutely gorgeous.
All of them are beautiful! The perfect range from beginner to expert. I'm definitely saving this in my 'Project Ideas' playlist. Thanks Elise 😊✨️🧶
I'm so glad you enjoyed them!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you for sharing these beautiful shawls.
They are all breathtaking! Thank you for sharing. Ok I have lots of yarn to buy, see ya in the late spring.
Shawls are my favorite thing to make. I have made two of the ones on this list: the one designed for Expression Fiber Arts, and the one designed by Toni from TL Yarn Crafts. The Bronwyn Shawl by Toni has an optional applied I-cord edging instead of the bobbles. I chose the I-cord edging. It truly is a show stopper.
Oooh! I bet it's gorgeous!!! 😍😍😍
Woow.. I love them ALL!!
I do too!! So inspiring! 🧶🧶🧶
Our Prayer Shawl Minstry has dozens of bins full of Red Heart yarn and I need patterns to use. Thanks for these patterns!
That's amazing!! 🧶🧶🧶
This is so good! Great picks!
I'm so glad you liked them! 🧶🧶🧶
Wow! All of these shawls are so beautiful 🤩 I am inspired to make one…all 😂 hard to choose which one to start with! Thanks for a wonderful video! ❤
I’m so glad you enjoyed them!! 🧶🧶🧶
I'm currently knitting the granny shawl for a friend who is going through a hard time. I'm doing it in dk. I'm not an experienced crochet so this is a good one for me.
I'm thinking the Log Cabin shawl must be one of my next projects. It looks simple and complicated at the same time! TFS ❤❤❤
Fantastic collection of shawl patterns! Thank you. I love the happy, whimsical patterns from Adina’s World Crochet! 🧶🦋
I just bookmarked the Log Cabin Shaw. Looks so so cool and different. Thanks for always inspiring me Elise.
I love that one too!! 🧶🧶🧶
I loved this video! I have been wanting to make one of Adinda's World's patterns for some time. Your video is giving me the nudge to get started! In 2024 I made two capelets from Sue Maton/The Mercerie. They are beautiful and challenging patterns and I was so thrilled to finish them!
That is awesome!! I need to check those out too! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you for sharing these spectacular patterns. I just recently started crocheting again & jumped into shawls.
Holy moly those wraps from Adindas World are absolutely amazing. I’m intimidated by them but i HAVE to try making one of those.
I feel the same way! I really want to make one of hers! 🧶🧶🧶
Happy Anniversary darling...30 years is such an accomplishment and I commend you!!
Thank you so very much! 🧶🧶🧶
Hi Elise! I'm enjoying your videos so much because you are so joyful and you have so much great information and experience to share with us.
That's wonderful!!! Yes! I'm still here! I'm thinking of planning a meet and greet! I'll keep everyone posted!! 🧶🧶🧶
I’ve been looking to try my hand at wearables , but I’m a little gun-shy. I think a shawl is a good place to start and Toni’s Bronwyn is my pick. Good luck to me! Elise, love all your videos😀
That is such a great pick! You’ll love it! 🧶🧶🧶
This is one of my favorite style of videos from you Elise. A collection of patterns! Loving them all.... uhh where to start. The Log Cabin by Attys, in black and white maybe 🤔
I love that one too! 🧶🧶🧶
Got my tea, and settled in to enjoy your ideas. Good ones, by the way. Unfortunately I am in the middle of making a shawl to clean out a section of my yarn stash. It's my own design, and it is not great, but it gets rid of certain yarns. It will be fine to wear at home on those chilly/rainy Spring or Fall days. It was fun watching these patterns.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video! 🧶🧶🧶
good timing! im gonna make my grandma a shawl for her birthday
Omg!!!!! Pick one favorite???? Impossible lol. I absolutely love Toni so her shawl is top on my list.
Side note… I’m working on shawls now for a charity that Tiffany (crochet with Tiffany) is hosting. I did it a couple years ago. Very rewarding. Thanks for all the fabulous inspiration Elise ❤❤❤
That's amazing! I love Tiffany, she's so talented! 🧶🧶🧶
I make shawls for charity. But, oh my, your shawls add so much pop to my projects.
That is such a wonderful thing to do!! 🧶🧶🧶
I Love Them All ! ! ! WOW How do I choose ? ? ? Thanks so much Elise and where do you usually get your yarn as that is so important .............. Love you and your show and I've learned so much from you ...............
I buy my yarns in so many different places but mostly online! I've linked all the yarns I shared in the description box! 📦
I am using Stylecraft Special Chunky for a TL Yarn Crafts pattern, and it is so much fun to work with!
Oooh! Good to know!!! 🧶🧶🧶
Wow!!!❤❤❤
🧶🧶🧶
The first crocheted shawl I every did was the Virus pattern. I was lucky to find a video of how to do it because I didn't know how to read charts back then. It's such a pretty pattern.
Congrats on 30 yr anniversary! That is almost unheard of these days!🥰. So glad you guys got to make it special & go on a fun trip with just you & him! We will have our 25th this year & I feel so blessed to have married my best friend❤ Congratulations again ❣️!
Much love & warm hugs!❤️
Megan from Arkansas 🥰
🎉❤ Thank you for this video! I have some Hobbii Cotton Kings Sultan Deluxe that I want to use to make a couple shawls out of. It is a beautiful color changing yarn and you gave me some fabulous ideas. Love your bloopers! ❤❤❤
Beautiful 😻❤️ patterns thank you 🧶
I'm
So glad you like them! 🧶🧶🧶
I have a pattern owl shawl that I got from Etsy. I don’t use shawls but I make them for window dressings. I know it sounds weird but I m a hippie so many shawls could be used as a skirt…..well thanks for this toot❤
That's so much fun!! Love it! 🧶🧶🧶
AAAAAAAAAAAHHH! They're ALL going on my "to make" list, but I'm dying, dying, dying over Adinda's. They may be too complicated for me as a beginner (advanced beginner?), but I don't care. I'll learn as I go!
Love your enthusiasm!! Adinda's shawls are incredible!!! 🧶🧶🧶
Your learning to pronoun “Sheepjes” is the cutest thing EVER! You made my day! 🥰
Haha!! Thank you!!! 🧶🧶🧶
Elise, can you share the link to that cute rose color project bag in your beach picture?
Here you go! a.co/d/9OpHWvA 🧶🧶🧶
@@EliseRoseCrochet oh thank you!
@@EliseRoseCrochetI just ordered one. I don’t mean to be a copy cat, but when I like something, I want one. And I love a good back pack!
So many gorgeous patterns! 🤫rest assured, i will not tell anyone about your nee….errr, desire to increase your stash with chunky yarn. as you intend to use it, no judgement here.😚
In the 1960s my 50yo great aunt - a very elegant lady who made (sewed, knit and crocheted) most of her wardrobe - carried a couple of fuzzy (mohair? angora?) shawls in her car for use in overly air conditioned buildings. At the age of 10 I was HORRIFIED that she wrapped me in one of these shawls in the grocery store! Only old ladies used them. Now, nearly 60 years later, I wish I had those beautiful fuzzy shawls 😢
I can see them in my mind!! Wouldn't it be fun to remake one in memory of her!?! 🧶🧶🧶
0:23 In the past shawls had a bad (w)rap 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for sharing. These are beautiful. I love the original Scheepjes yarns. Unfortunately, most are now made in China, and I don't want to invest my time and money with yarn that might have hazardous chemicals. It's really a shame. I enjoyed this yarn so much as a child.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶
🤩😍👌👏👍❤
🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶
Dangit, just when I made a vow to not START another WIP for at least a year to try & finish a few of my couple dozen or soo existing WIPs, and i see half a dozen patterns i wqnt to make!
Lol!! I so get it!! 🤣🧶❤️
I made my first Crocheted Shawl from @OpheliaTalks - the Agatha Reading Shawl. I love it -- I made it in worsted and another 1 in super bulky Alpaca blend.
Oooh!! I'll have to check that one out! 🧶🧶🧶
