It's incredible that you don't have to sharpen the post for it to drive it in. I have a 55-56DT with a 335L loader myself. Excellent tractors.

Looks awesome. I have rocky clay in KY and not sure this would work. My god that saved you a lot of time. Well done.

During some times of the year, when it's dry and hot, we have some upland areas with clay layers that are like concrete they are so hard.. I have beaten posts through that, but it is really slow going and tough on the post. Perhaps during the wet season your rocky clay is softer. Anyway, thanks for watching and for your comment.

Surprised to see posts driven in with a flat end and not compromised by rocks or roots. Great piece of equipment! Thank for the video.

Thanks for watching. I was kinda surprised also when I first got it, but the flat end works just fine and that is what available around here for treated posts.

@@LongleafSheepHillRanch-if9zz But why? Is it that hard to make end sharp?

I don't know about other parts of the country, but flat ends are what's available around here. They work, so I guess there isn't much demand for pointed ends. I could take an axe to the post and make a point, but that's extra work and not really needed. Thanks for watching and commenting.

@@LongleafSheepHillRanch-if9zzwe just make 2 cross cuts with a chainsaw and it only takes a few seconds. They drive in soooooo much faster without a blunt face. That’s a sweet driver you’ve got! Nice!
