Summer is quickly approaching - Have you ever been to any of these 5 places? Let me know about your vacation plans this summer - where are you planning to go?
100%!! It always amazes me, even if you were to simply wander the Great Lakes you'd be lost forever trying to see it all!! Thanks for commenting and watching!
That is reprisor, Joe Wiegand, and I highly recommend his work "The Teddy Roosevelt Show" Super nice guy, speaker and educator. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
Depends what "up north means?" Because technically - there are 7 other Midwest States North of me...so maybe I'm more "Down South" from the perspective of someone from the UP of Michigan, Fargo in North Dakota, or International Falls of Minnesota? Hiking Shawnee and taking in history from the area is incredible btw. Beautiful part of Illinois. 😉
@@nuancedliars112Hard to prevent that - I was thinking back talking with my dad about what most of this land used to look like...we have lost a ton of forested areas. I was amazed that Shawnee had atleast what it had! Garden of the Gods in the Midwest? Makes you think about how powerful that Wisconsin glacier was to form that in Illinois of all places!
@@midwestsmalltown it is amazing I just wish that it was more expensive. I feel like there were corn fields all over the place even when traveling to nearby locations.
@@nuancedliars112 completely understand...I appreciate your comment no matter what. Its always good to converse with others, I'm back and forth between my "midwest ghost town" channel, so i'm glad I caught your response.

No Michigan destination. Toss this list
Well, there are 12 Midwest States.I'm sure the other 7 feel similar. Michigan is beautiful. Holland, Michigan #6...how's that? 😉

Shawnee was incredible. But thanks for your opinion.
@@midwestsmalltown it is awesome but it's not expansive at all. It is surrounded by too much farmland.
