One of the better performances I've heard. Why forego the mutes in the "recap"? I think it loses an opportunity for contrast fitting to the theme of Requiem. Whenever I have played it, this seemed like the point where one gains some peace after the loss of a loved one.
This is one of the most intense, beautiful performances by musicians in tune with each other that I've ever heard.
