I wonder what Daniil does before he goes on stage. I've only been to one opera and some Live in HD and I wish that when the doors open there is already a small ensemble performing on stage. Just to set the mind-set. If you want to socialize . . . go out in the foyer. The orchestra should do their tuning outside the auditorium and when they enter . . . the ensemble doesn't stop until First Chair calls things to order with the A. It isn't a department store where customers just walk in and walk out with 'an experience'. Oh, no. Perhaps a radio station might be doing that . . . but not everyone listens to a 'one station'.
