I have several bellroy bags and wallets and love their stuff. But, the one annoying thing about Bellroy is the random materials, sometimes a great design is ruined by a poor material. These look like great materials and I’m going to pick one or maybe both of the messengers.
I was struck by the similarity of the new Bellroy messenger bag (which I love!) to a Yoshida Porter bag that that I own that is beautiful but too heavy for EDC. These appear to solve the weight problem for me. I too will probably buy both sizes. The reference to YP in the link to your story is very validating! Thank you for the story and the review!
My large messenger arrived today, and I love it. It’s my fourth Bellroy bag, and I just love how practical they are. I really hope the make a camera version like they did with the sling.

Having watched your video - several times - I’ve decided that I actually need both bags. As far as I’m concerned Bellroy can do no wrong and I’m delighted that I’ve discovered your channel to take me through the newest additions to the Bellroy stable. Again, thank you 😊
It does “naked” but it’s a squeeze. It’s also worth noting that it isn’t hugely padded so won’t offered the best protection. Fine for a quick trip to a mobile office, but maybe something to think about on a longer commute!
Hi did you go your own measurement of the cinch tote size? I wonder if it can fit 11” iPad online days it’s 47 length but I can’t see how it is that long :0
I don't have a 13" Macbook Pro to test unfortunately, but it fit my 12.9" iPad (with magic keyboard) easily. Worth noting that the padding is minimal though!
Does the smaller messenger fit an 11 inch Ipad? Is the back less padded than the bigger version? I wish Bellroy was clearer about this as they have a photo on the website of the mini messenger bag with an Ipad but it’s hard to discern if it’s an Ipad mini or the standard size.

The smallest one looks nice for a dog walker. the warranty should be better and reports of poor customer service and warranty refusal is a concern for the price points. They'll never beat Osprey
Osprey is one of the best bang for your buck brands in the world, great call! On the warranty side of things, these have a 3-year warranty and Bellroy's customer service is world class (but we're totally bias, ha!). We'd suggest, if you like the bags, give 'em a shot and try them first hand. Not every 'report' on the internet is valid. Nothing beats personal experience. ;)
Nothing special or different about the messenger bags from anyone else's messenger bags except possibly for the usual high Bellroy price. Same with the totes. There are many totes out there with a cinch top. In other words, this video is hyping them way too much.

I have these cinch bags. I have all except the 12liter messenger. Excellent product

I just bought a similar style of bag from Uniqlo for 30 dollars in Japan. Not sure if they sell it in the state. I use it as a quick pick up dump bag.

Hi there - It won't fit an 11" iPad, but looks like the mini will! The smaller messenger has no padding on the rear. Hope this helps!
