A) subbed B) I have all the assists off, is this why I keep getting smoked in Grand Races? I wish I could see the % of players that play with each option on and off.
i think about 70% of grand racers could benefit from enabling permanent auto-braking, auto steering may not be as helpful seeing as how the A.I. seems to never care if they ram me or not.
Nice guide. Would you say that the drift and countersteer assists work only on drift events or do they bring some miniature benefit to regular races as well? Also, for players who have played airplane games before (such as Ace Combat or Hawx), turning the plane assist off will make the plane controls feel more familiar.
I have been running esp off, abs on and tc sport, hardly change the difficulty from 5(except for the bike lovers playlist, and some of the time trials) but i have won a grand race with all assists off, you just have to brake a lot earlier and coast the corners with little bit of throttle tapping, i watch the map to see what is coming up but leave the full racing line on
@@Tesseract69 Sure u could if the lobby is full of potatoes. But in a full lobby with decent drivers, there's no way, braking points are so much longer/harder...
@@hybrid11theory75 Ok, the condescending part of your comment is completely unnecessary... You asked a generic question, I gave an honest answer. There's no arrogance in that... Anyhow, earlier today I did remember and bothered to try challenging myself with using keyboard, automatic gearing, limiting my fps from 60 to 30, turned all assists off (yes, no abs, no traction control, no drift assist, no esp, no racing line) and I was able to win a random GR lobby like that. Isuckatdriving also has a video of winning a GR with all assists off, and he's a keyboard player (keyboard being more difficult than controller in most racing games, especially newer titles). So it's definitely possible beyond just having ABS off to win GRs. Just requires good track knowledge, careful driving and good nos management. So even if previously before asking the question, you assumed and thought it wasn't possible, well now you know that it not only is possible, but it's *still possible* even with a bigger challenge than just turning ABS off. I also find it funny that you expanded on your original question to include "only against decent drivers" just so you could remain being 'right' with your initial generic question. LOL. Well duh! Obviously turning off something that is faster when it's on, is going to be slower against equally skilled players. So no point asking a question, if you're only going to change the question premise up cause you got an answer you didn't want. Like why even ask the question in the first place? Also, I wish I was still a kid, would be nice 😅 But maybe you could teach me how to be one though 🤔😂
Does any1 know if the demolition category is worth getting parts for, for future summits? Just finished getting nitro chem & score breaker set for every other category in the game and was wondering if grinding parts for demo would ever be helpful. Didn’t play TC2 back in the day so idk if demo category ever came up in a summit
I was wondering exactly the same!? 🤔 Since I don't see a reason why you should using a demolition car in any kind of. And also the demolition mode is fair pvp so you're unable to profit from set bonuses or the affixes...
In TC2 there are some DD races which benefit from a nitro chemist set and they would appear in summits from time to time so I personally would make a set for the future. I already have everything with nitro chem and on DD cars, each burst of nitrous last slightly longer and it feels noticeable.
Another great video which helps me to understand the different settings and mechanics of the game and how they affect each other. I'm pretty new to the game franchise of the crew and never played TC or TC2. Also there aren't really necessary informations from Ubisoft itself. But that's the way Ubisoft is handling games for years! So me and my friends having so many questions and most of the answers we've found so far are mostly speculations. It would be nice and totally helpful to many new players of the game if you could make detailed video like this one but related to the legend points and especially all the affixes. How they are related to each other, what are the benefits and do you need them. Also if they are working or needed for the summit. And especially which of them have maybe an effect when it comes to the grand races! 🤔😵💫🫣😉 I'm watching your content and the daily builds since playing this game 5 weeks ago. Definitely together with Simgii and Akor best content for the crew motorfest! Especially compared to many many other content creators who are so damn childish! Keep up the good work guys and thanks for all the informations, tips and tricks, pro settings and the other stuff me and my friends learned so far by watching your content! 👍🙏👌

And one of the most annoying things over the past few years is that most of the publishers don't offer detailed Ans valid informations about their complex games anymore. 20 years ago every game came with a booklet explaining most of the game mechanics... Nowadays so many things changed and sometimes turn very bad, cause of financial plans but also strategic plans of the big publishers... And since I'm already played probably 15000 hours over the last decades ubisoft games with their grind and loot system in a pretty much open world styled system I know what I'm talking about. Or maybe I'm getting old! 🤔😵💫😭😉 On the other hand sadly said there aren't to many content creators like you or your buddies. Most of the UA-camrs are acting like little kids complaining and blaming other players for having bad skills or not playing a game like they're thinking it's supposed to be! 🤬 It's nice to see people like simgii or akor and especially you are different in a great way! Thank you for being like you are! 😉👌
I'm new to the game, and Event difficulty doesn't affect part rarity? It's frustrating coming first on difficulty 5 and still getting blues . I'm new, i prefer how it worked in the crew 2.

No point having all assists off unless you're wanting a challenge just for the sake of an extra challenge.

i came from gt7, no assists, quickly popped assists on. only thing off is the racing line. i hate that.
