Just hearing Liz speak, I knew she was an avid reader. Reading makes you own rooms and speak eloquently. As a book publisher, it felt like an end product of the society we want to have in SA.

Loved what Liz said on friendships and being content with the friends she has, but also not limiting herself to new friendships. That is a season I've been in, because I'm in a different province from all my friends, but I still realized how wholesome I am even in the distance cause our friendship is so intentional. I remain forever grateful for my friends and how amazing they are. Also Liz is just giving Authentic as she said, alot of what you said resonates with me. Sis'Mpoomy thanks for this episode and your intentions for this channel are clear and exactly what you intend for them to be.❤️❤️

Oh my goodness I relate so much with the mom who has a budget sheet on the nightstand. My mom is a single mom and she was always very transparent with me about her finances, I could walk into her room and find the budget for the month at any given point cause it was always right there on the nightstand. Her transparency taught me to trust my mom more and have a more realistic view of what we can and cannot afford. It made me a very balanced individual, I know when I can afford to get something and when I can’t without being extreme in one way or the other.
