Love how calm, patient and well spoken KL Rahul is. It’s unfortunate that the others keep interrupting him and don’t let him complete, although he’s being such a good listener.
It's like we can talk all intellectual stuff but at our core we all do need validation. Nikhil isn't someone different and honestly my whole opinion on him changed after this podcast. He's just like any other person, nothing great but unique in his own way.
Badshah giving example of Akshay Kumar from 01:30:00 is so on point. When people see on your peak and can’t match it they want you to fail. Akshay Kumar has become such a phenomenon that few flops don’t hamper him he has created his brand still kind of love & respect which fans have for him is next level. But industry was happy to see him fail. He made it on his own & that’s how a hero rises. His comeback with a right film would be the biggest. Nobody in the history of Bollywood is a bigger entertainer than him.
I'm so glad Badshah was on that podcast. His honesty and vulnerability were refreshing, even surrounded by other stars. It's great to see a celebrity who's so real
One thing I have noticed about the happiness question asked to Kriti. Nikhil thinks like a typical businessman who has completed the main quest in life and is set for life, now dwelling in abstract concepts of happiness and meaning. He considers happiness as something fixed, something that stays and is found inside of oneself. This is the reason why he does not understand the concept of seeking external validation making people happy. Kriti is in an entirely different business, where the kick of happiness comes from being the best performer, i.e. impressing the people. It is such validation that makes someone feel that they are a good singer or an actor. Say Kriti does some roles that does not impress people, it will be considered as a bad performance. She will also have to maintain her looks and talks in such a manner that makes people feel that she is a star. This is show business. She enjoys doing it and the pursuit of it gives her happiness, despite the obvious negatives to it.
Kriti's segment was exhausting to listen to as her responses lacked depth. She seemed guarded and inauthentic, relying on clichés like destiny, talent, and hard work. She is a good actor but unfortunately, there were no valuable takeaways from her lengthy conversation. Nikhil's team should invite guests who are capable of sharing their thoughts honestly, without inhibition.
from Kriti's body language, I can decode she was trying to impress Nikhil with her answers, not in a flirting way, but because Nikhil has an intellectual aura, so she wants to come across as an intellectual

25:35 Being upper middle class and the middle class is quite different, the upper middle class are always trying to breach the threshold between them and the ultra-rich. On the other hand, being middle class is having enough sustenance to keep pulling yourself up from falling below the lines of poverty. So correcting yourself and calling yourself upper middle class after being called out and pretending there may not be much difference is an understatement.
yes, most people right now use being born in middle class as a tool to accentuate their achievements while the reality is that most people who become achievers in niche fields such as arts usually come from backgrounds of privilege. Middle class people don't have the liberty to think about things that are beyond survival. Their main goal, like you said, is to prevent themselves below the lines of poverty,.

Nikhil buddy I hope you take this in the spirit it is meant, I will try to convey this in a way to not sound like it's a criticism but an observation. You say "we want to get to know" people with these interviews but it might be more accurate to say "you" want to know and understand these people "through your own limited lens". Just asking questions is not a way to have a conversation, you don't have to interject when someone is looking for the right word to express themselves, let them find their own way. Try to create an environment where people can feel safe to open up, instead of forcing them to open up "in the way you want". Near the beginning of the podcast Sanon was looking for a word (Perfectionist - 09:08) and you interjected with "validation" - projecting your own interpretation of the world onto her - then later on when she used that word herself back to you, as a way of helping you better understand what she is saying, you accused her of using the word "validation a bunch of times now" (23:13) - she was just mirroring to communicate better with you. You don't have to be a body language expert to see the confusion on her face at your question...
He’s basically dumping his insecurities on his guests to see how they handle it. Honestly, therapy would’ve been way cheaper and faster, but I guess you can’t monetize that drama, huh?😂
If i had to be honest, nikhil is doing much better than other interviewers out there like ranveer allahbadia.. he at least asks intelligent questions and drills out answers from them, other interviewers just ask stupid questions for comedy, not realising that nothing productive is coming out of that.
First interaction with kriti was purely like an HR interview after clearing technical round ( I am willing to relocate , no problem with shift timings)😂😂
A big thanks to Kriti for saving the podcast in a sense! When she engaged herself during the conversation about KL, it really transformed the vibe into a more captivating and balanced conversation rather than just an interview. If you notice, the first 45 minutes felt like Kriti was doing most of the talking while everyone else was pretty quiet. With three big talents on board, it felt a bit off having them silent for so long-it would’ve been great to see each person equally involved from the start. It was evident that Kriti felt a bit exhausted, which she even mentioned a couple of times. But when it was KL's turn, she stepped in and kind of saved the flow of the podcast for me. Love each and every one of them-this isn't a complaint, just an observation!

i think the purpose of this podcast series WTF by nikhil is providing value to others but also to himself. He's very smart and intelligent. He want to know what every carrer, business, industry is doing and he's very good at decoding people. The questions he ask is for himself but that makes this podcast unique. Also this podcast is big business in itself. Ad sense, social media reach, and ofcourse i am damn sure,He will roll out book in which he will refine each conversation he had on podcast and give advice and what not. Though love this series.
Idk why but i found nikhil intermediating in this podcast. Some of his questions were irrelevant i may not have enough competence of understanding what he is trying to ask but i for some reason have this perspective.
20:42 When Nikhil asked "what is happiness" I had the exact same response as what Naval Ravikant said on JRE. "Happiness is peace in motion. Peace is happiness at rest."
After listening to kriti. The amount of support her mother has given to kriti just tells why Kriti is there. This is the perfect example what support of parents can do to their kids. Impressive ❤
I don't understand why Kriti is getting unnecessary hate here in the comments 🤭. Everybody is speaking their minds and everyone is being lovely. Such good takeaways from everyone's experiences.
Badshah has shown why he's the GOAT in Indian Music Scene. He brought the Hip-Hop into Bollywood through his commercial hip-hop songs while also staying rooted to the hardcore and underground hip-hop. He knows the kind of Hip-hop the masses would like and delivered while promoting hip-hop music through out India. After listening to some of his songs, we got to know more about his personal life and struggles, and now after listening to his podcasts, he's showing how intellectual he really is, which is also shown in the lyrics of some of his non-commercial songs.
The reason why it seems weird when Nikhil asks kriti deep questions is cuz she has no opinion on real issues. She lives in a bubble where her work and family is important to her and how she is doing in life and that’s it which is also fair tbh
Truly think you need to be a little delulu and live in your bubble to truly succeed. It's what you surround yourself with and how you look at life that gives you that fuel. That's what I got from all their answers.

Nikhil is giving full-on psychoanalist vibe😂
badshah is so genuine and down-to-earth ❤️
❤

She is epic
@@jatinsinghchauhan3220 Kriti is a brilliant person.
paid pr?
@@ne_etb Not really, this is the most genuine reaction one could have. I really want you to see the episode and see for yourself that nothing wrong was said. If somebody wants me to pay for this, I don’t mind.
@@jatinsinghchauhan3220 going to head out of this, as much as i respect your taste in watching celebs talk about their life, was simply baffled by all the positive reactions, hence the question.
We definitely need a dedicated podcast episode with badshah!!
❤
It’s incredible how badshah breaks stereotypes. He’s not just a rapper; he’s an artist in every sense :)
❤
Lol
how much did you get paid to write this ?
@@ne_etb u don't how much you gets from yo yo 😂
That's what sounds when exploration sparks in your creativity without much of buzz and fuzz. Intelligence beats nuisance. Godspeed Mr Kamath.
Loved this side of Kriti, Badshah & KL
KL Rahul is a genuine person. He saved this podcast.
Definetely
Nikhil got known that that's why he focused more on him.
He is asking kriti so many questions to break her PR narrative. For all podcast i was annoyed. But then i got it . Rest with kl and badshah he was chill .
Bro Kriti is not at all layered person. With all the conversation she had with Nikhil it feels like she is a single layered person with a hint of pepper. She sounds like most college kids trying to seems complex
Is that bad?
Yes .. she knows how to speak but lacks depth .. she is superficial
People should be simple
She doesn't even understand the questions and doesn't know what to say 😂 she is very conscious about making a positive image and not herself at all!
She is fake nd she herself admit this in pod
That awkward energy in the beginning is so real, you can almost feel it through the screen. It feels less like an interview and more like a bunch of students from different sections trying to make small talk lol
badshah deserves all the love and respect. He’s worked hard to get where he is!
Nikhil, I hope to see more collaborations with badshah on podcasts
👍
another freaking paid pr.
fr that was very awkard.even i noticed that ..
Hey Nikhil,
I’ve been following you and have learned a lot from your podcasts. It’s amazing how much knowledge you share on your platform, and I truly appreciate it.
I have one small request - would it be possible for you to do a podcast focusing on the construction industry in India?
Thanks again for all the valuable content!
KL Rahul be like- Am i a third wheel on Nikhil & Kriti's date ? Poor guy opened his mouth after 30 minutes. Nikhil & Kriti's conversation run time was longer than an entire episode of "The Office"
First date vibe
😂😂😂😂😂😂 so true. Glad,
I am not the only one thinking the same.
Probably to get more views
Just one thing about the attachment theory, it’s not about the child but the care giver; if the care giver attend to the child’s needs or not. This is how attachment styles develop in children be it secure, anxious, fearful avoidant or dismissive avoidant.
The best part of the comments section is that most people believe he's flirting with Kriti, but in reality, he's dumbing everything down!
Hey mallu
That that means , i mean why he was looking at kriti when he was actually talking to Badshah
@@silkyshahi9884so she interrupts.
BE IS LONELY PYSCHO THAT IS IT just lucky his company took off for a short while and one day ..well time will tell
i think the purpose of this podcast series WTF by nikhil is providing value to others but also to himself.
Rahul does not interrupt for the first hour while Nikhil and Kriti are talking. That’s the Kannada upbringing 💪
So true
felt same
Gentleman
He doesn’t speak much, it’s personality trait, not a state trait
Then Y kannada people dont behave like this in bangalore and second thing he is mangalorean
Idk why but i found nikhil intermediating in this podcast. Some of his questions were irrelevant i may not have enough competence of understanding what he is trying to ask but i for some reason have this perspective.
Never expected Badshah to be this good! He has such a deep understanding of things
Y
20:42 When Nikhil asked "what is happiness" I had the exact same response as what Naval Ravikant said on JRE. "Happiness is peace in motion. Peace is happiness at rest."
KL, you beauty…. What a depth and clarity of thoughts dude! ❤
Never expected badshah to be this good at discussing serious topic ahahha
👍
Same 😂
I had no idea Badshah was so well-spoken
❤
After listening to kriti. The amount of support her mother has given to kriti just tells why Kriti is there. This is the perfect example what support of parents can do to their kids. Impressive ❤
Hearing “Mangalore”, “Suratkal” and “Udyavar”. Prime highlights. Just made my day.
Tullunad ♥️
I don't understand why Kriti is getting unnecessary hate here in the comments 🤭. Everybody is speaking their minds and everyone is being lovely. Such good takeaways from everyone's experiences.
Badshah PR is at work
I don’t think she is getting hate about speaking her mind, it is that she was interrupting a lot when Nikhil was in talking to KL and Badshah
If you can't figure out the way she is thinking what to say (or rather lie) you are dumb donald dodo buddy.
nikhil is like our viva professor
Haha
Accurately described 😂
Uske baad bbu to tcs Infosys hi gaya th
I felt more of she not wanting to give her opinion on issues just to not come across weird/stupid.
Fr. When she asked Badshah why he took up the government job? Lmao
Truly think you need to be a little delulu and live in your bubble to truly succeed. It's what you surround yourself with and how you look at life that gives you that fuel. That's what I got from all their answers.
@@arushikashyap854 True. Feel the same.
We definitely need more content featuring badshah
❤
Nikhil and Kriti will make good pair. Feel like Nikhil expression were different while asking question to kriti
