So basically you can't be a freelancer if you're not on social media? Do people hire writers still or just personas? Any advice for a writer who doesn't/won't use social media?
Businesses want to verify you as you also have to verify the business. So being on LinkedIn only is fine. It's not really a "social" site but clients know this platform.
Hey Elna...in your video you speak about if interested in writing long copy for seo customers to get the course you have called 'Freelance blogging in a weekend" but I noticed you had another course called "Fast Track to SEO Writing". A decade ago I had a small local mktg seo service and helped local businesses with seo on their websites and creating short posts for websites.. Even though that was 10 years ago, I feel with that background that writing seo long copy would be my forte...just curious which of these two courses do you think would work better for me given my background...? Or is one of them more intensive or elaborate on the subject?
Freelance Blogging in a Weekend is a more comprehensive writing course with help with SEO and generally content writing online so writing long-form content, listicles and ultimate guides. The Fast Track to SEO Writing is a beginner primer course just to focus on creating SEO content for clients. So if you want a more comprehensive, more rounded out course then FBW is it! Hi, I don't feel a Google Drive would work at this time. Back when I started that's what I did and didn't land any client work. I had to guest post to get bylines and then use those in my pitches to land clients! So work on getting a guest post (Medium is good for that) or showcasing your samples on LinkedIn or Contently.
