I hope we get a 10th anniversary edition of Exploding Kittens, one of the cards in which is a Double Exploding Kitten who requires TWO Defuse cards to defuse!
It would change the way you play even more so then the impolding kitten card and I hope they do but I think theres need to be an 2 extra defuse to so there can be 2 extra defuses in the deck and a defuse to let it add another player

Hey Denver! i just wanted to ask what would be the best option if im planning to buy a exploding kitten pack for my 10 friends. I want the game to be alot of fun with different variations so that we will not get easily bored and to not put it in the dusty shelves after playing for a week. Should i get the Party Pack and just buy some expansions? and what would be the best expansion packs that i should put and can you also put the expansion packs that are okayy if not being alongside the base game. I was also wondering if the Recipe of disasters is better and cheaper(just using my allowance money lol) than the Party Pack with the expansion packs? and if it does, will it be playable with 10 people? if not, how can i make it playable? I just found out about this game so sorry for alot of questions, i just want to make sure that i'm using my money for the best. I hope you will reply Thanks!!
Hello and thanks for reaching out! That's a great question. Considering the amount of friends you're playing with, the Party Pack is definitely your best option! While Recipes For Disaster comes with a lot of cards, it doesn't come with enough Exploding Kittens and Diffuses to play with larger groups, which is a bummer. Not only does the Party Pack include enough cards for up to 10 players, but it also has a few cards from the Imploding Kittens expansion, which is a huge win! When it comes to expansions, to keep it as cheap (and fun!) as possible, I'd add the Streaking Kittens expansion to the Party Pack. Not only is it typically under $10, but it also has some of the absolute best cards in the series, at least in my opinion. As you build out your set in the future, I'd add Imploding Kittens after Streaking Kittens, and then Zombie Kittens! That's definitely later down the road, but great to keep in mind. Take care and hopefully this helps! I hope you and your friends have a great time with Exploding Kittens!
@@gameswithdenverjames Hey Denver, i'm back and I just want to ask again regarding to Zombie Kittens. I've seen many videos saying that Zombie Kitten is a base game not a expansion pack or maybe it can be played as an expansion? so is it possible to make it a expansion? and if it does, how can i play it and set it up? and anyways I got the party pack, streakinh, and imploding and me and my friends played and loved it! and i want to ask one last time if how would i set it up like how many cards should i give each player because the cards are getting many and other changes and maybe you can suggest some house rules? hehe anyways that's all Thank you in advance!
Hey I appreciate your words! God’s been good to me, and I hope to share that same love and kindness with others, even through a game review. Take care and I hope you have a great day!
Hello! Thanks for the great review! I have a question: Since I am planning to buy the party pack, which expansion is recommended to get to make the game even more fun? (Or is there one?) I saw that "The party pack itself is the core game of Exploding Kittens plus the Imploding Kittens expansion (without the imploding kitten card) plus enough duplicate cards to play with up to 10 people." on a Reddit post. So, therefore, is there a recommended (or more than one) expansion that goes well with the Party Pack? Or, is there any better (and fun) combo of packs and expansions to play up to 10 players? Thanks in advance and have a nice day! :D
Hello and thanks for reaching out! I’m so glad that this video was helpful to you! That’s a great question. I would highly recommend picking up Streaking Kittens. Not only is it the best expansion in the series (at least in my opinion), but it also doesn’t jack up the player count, making it a solid addition to the Party Pack. I’d also recommend Imploding Kittens, but as you said, the Party Pack already includes many of those cards. The Imploding Kitten card is pretty great though! Adding Zombie Kittens could also be a lot of fun, but it will bring your player count to 15, so you would want to remove a few of those Exploding Kittens, unless explosive chaos is your thing. Hopefully this helps, and again, thanks so much for reaching out!
@@gameswithdenverjames One more question, please :) The Expansions work with any base game? (e.g. EK classic/Zombie Kittens/EK NSFW) Thank you very much! Really appreciate your support on this! :) P.S. Is Good vs Evil a Base Game or an Expansion?

Yes! I thought the exact same thing. It’s a bit of a hybrid base game in comparison to the other additions. Ooohh yes! I really want to pick up Anarchy Pancakes, and Without Fail looks promising as well. Which one stands out to you the most?
@@gameswithdenverjames I think anarchy pancakes is decent as everyone is able to play at the same time and therefore that sense of craziness is always quite fun. However, without fail personally seems far more interesting as each game will be unique depending on the players present, and I think that improved social dynamic does it for me 😁
still confused with how the attack cards stack rule is. My friends and I are arguing about it. Please enlighten me. If Player A plays attack card to Player B, Player B plays attack card as well to Player C so he then now has to draw 4x. Can player C play the cards in between his draw? like 1st draw is tacocat 2nd draw is skip or super skip can he use that skip right away to limit his draw? so he then now has only 1 draw left.
Thanks for reaching out! You’re absolutely right. Attack cards DO stack. Cards can also be played from the hand in between draws, since each draw represents a turn. Hopefully this helps to “diffuse” the argument! Lol

I totally agree! It was almost as if they released the first edition too quickly, because they ended up having to retcon so many of those cards. That said, it only makes those original cards even rarer, turning them into collectibles at this point.

this party pack used to be an iffy buy because the back of the card was a different design years ago and cant be used with expansion backs without looking dumb, but looks like it's now same back design. makes no sense buying the regular anymore because this has 4 different card addition than regular and prices are around $5 more
I remember that! I’m glad they remedied that issue by releasing a second edition with new card backs. It made the Party Pack worth the investment. Also, totally agree with you. That’s a really good question! I think that RFD gives you a lot more for your money in terms of card variety.
