I am not anti Jap Bike i own a Honda and a Yamaha XSR as stated, but the 'best'?? nahh. My MV Agusta is much better
I watched this video with sadness in my heart, because here in Brazil these motorcycles receive a large amount of taxes when they are brought here. Unfortunately, Brazilian governments are corrupt and dishonest and charge very high taxes on products coming from abroad. And we consumers watch technological evolution pass us by far away from us Brazilians.
Tenere is the only Yamaha Bike i see of any true use that might reach expectations. The XSR is a flimsy piece of rubbish for the money (and if not change stock exhaust sounds puny), if you think for a tiny bit more you can have a decent bespoke bike, or an eternal lifetime friend such as the Kawasaki ZRS 900, which blows any XSR away anyday, as does the Honda CB 11000 classic sport heritage. The xsr 700 and 900s are just mass produced asemblked MT bikes with a plastic tank covering the ugly metyal tank inside, and a different seat. Its the MT, disguised as a sport heritage. still recycling and selling all the bikes they couldnt selliun Covide redressed as 'new models'. Aint seen a new model for a hile now, even Royal Enfield's new Meteor 650 is jusdt the same engine as the interceptor. These days manufacturere have three engines and 4 frames to make 16 bike models with haha. Its called 'rehashing it'. I am highly disappointed with my XSR it did not even reach expectation, never mind exceed them. All my other bikes fulfil my expectations (ducati scrambler, ducati cafe, ducati monster, MV Brutale 1090, Harley Sporster 1200 Custom, Royal Enfield Scram 411, and a Diablo Custom 650 Brat Bike by K-Speed Custom Bike Thailand). So if will all thos ebikes to try, and only the XSR disappoints, it must be crap

The new mt 09 headlight an tank 😢 the old model which got a lotta hate even looks better now 🤦 Starting to make a conclusion that yamaha designers just can't get it right with the headlight design of their mt series 😢 for instance the mt 10, everything is ok expect the headlight design 😑 it's untouchable but ugly 😑
oh they are recyling existing parts of other models recycling the not sold models of the last 4 years, not manufacturing new headlamp designs, they are stepping down petroleum bike new designs and sell what they havbe stuck in the warehouse just play 'LEGO' and make an XSR out of an MT use the same engine etc. Almost every bike manufacturer now, can be seen to be using the same bar end mirror company as Ducati did/do for their scrambler line (seen then on at least 10 different brands of bike already for 2024), so basically, all 2024 (and 2023) bikes, are just reassembled-to-look-different pieces of the 2019 bikes they made. There is not further watsing of money on innovation for an industry that ends its heyday in 2030. They are just getting rid of the surplus from the pandemic and not sure if they really are going to ,make a true 'new model', as it isnt worth it for the 7 years we got left to be able to manufactur or buy petroleum fossil fuel vehicles. They are recycling the old stuff whilst they work on E-Vehicles
Because electric engine-powered vehicles cannot totally replace gas powered vehicles FOR THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE. They can supplement the world's vehicle fleet but never replace it with the same amount of vehicles.
Lucky for Yamaha, there is a place in the market for EVERYONE... so some crazy disturbed will buy their "NEW TRANSFORMES-STYLE" design... horrible is the better and polite things to say. Can you imagine to go in plaza of to the pub with a MOTORBIKE with the face of BUBBLE BEE?
