Thanks for the video !'m headed to Germany in 2 weeks to visit my son. I am overweight, out of shape with a bad knee. Normally, I do not let any of that stop me but I'm 65 now. Do you think the steep hill to get to the gorge is that dramatic? I will rest every 10ft and I'm determined but I do not like to start something and not finish.

The slope was steep and quite long compared to the gorge, we'd be worried about recommending anything not knowing your normal limits etc.We wondered if Hintersee would be a better choice, there's a beautiful lake walk, you could go half way round and back, then go a little way down the Zauberwald trail and boardwalk which is exactly what we did.
