My husband and I were not blessed with children. It has been a lifelong sadness for us both. But, we were teachers and had many wonderful students that we could love over the years. We both also come from big families and are blessed with many wonderful nieces and nephews who are so good to us. Even if you don’t have children, you can surround yourself with children and love them as your own! I almost died in 2020, I made sure to tell my nieces and nephews that I couldn’t love them more than if they were my own children! I try to carry their love with me every day!!

I am so sorry for the great sadness and pain that you have experienced. And in a universe of complexity, as the Wisdom books suggest, there is no answer to why or why not- at least in this age. But, I say loudly:
“Sing, barren one, who has not given birth. burst into singing and shout, you who have not travailed. For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married one,” says ADONAI. Fear not, for you will not be ashamed. Nor cringe, for you will not be disgraced. For you will forget the shame of your youth, and you will remember the reproach of your widowhood no more. For your Maker is your husband -ADONAI-Tzva’ot is His Name- the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer. He will be called God of all the earth.” [Isaiah 54:1,4-5 TLV]
And sing loudly, because although in your momentary suffering, pain has ached your very bones, your King and God has and will forever take away your reproach, and give to you far beyond what you sought. For His most holy portion is what He gives, and that is the fact that:
“Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our pains. Yet we esteemed Him stricken, struck by God, and afflicted. But He was pierced because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities. The chastisement for our shalom was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. We all like sheep have gone astray. Each of us turned to his own way. So ADONAI has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Yet it pleased ADONAI to bruise Him. He caused Him to suffer. If He makes His soul a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, and the will of ADONAI will succeed by His hand. As a result of the anguish of His soul He will see it and be satisfied by His knowledge. The Righteous One, My Servant will make many righteous and He will bear their iniquities.” [Isaiah 53:4-6,10-11 TLV]

I would have loved to have had more children that I had. I have 2 boys and so when I was no longer able to have children because of a physical issue I've then became a teacher and all of the students in my class I consider them my children as well. I consider it a huge blessing from God to be allowed to be allowed to be in those children's lives and to be able to love them as much as I do. Respect to beloved Jews mother. As a Muslim, we have been given the same message: marry a fertile woman. This interpretation is to marry a righteous woman who will be happy to have children and is able to raise children the way Allah commands and the Prophet Muhammad taught us. Allah also said do not have kids if you can’t raise them righteous according to our Quran. Also, we should not have child/ren for the sake of friends and family wishes, or to fit whin the society or to prove one is able to have child/ren or imitate friends and etc.
If you are a married couple who are unable to be a devoted parents and unable to give your child/ren the right upbringing, do not have child/ren and destroy their lives otherwise you will be accountable on the day of judgment.
Allah says in the Quran marry a righteous man/woman both will be able to bring up their children the right ways by the wull and blessings of Allah.
Prophet Muhammad pbuh, also taught the husband if your wife is unable to have child then be patient, have hope, pray to our creator who is able to make the impossible possible, don’t give up on your wife. The way you don’t want your sister, niece, daughter’s spouses to leave them just because they can’t have children. Allah tests those he loves, like our prophet Zakariya May Allah be please with him. Allah granted him and his beloved wife at an old age. I pray may we please Allah and strive to bring up our blessed children the right way. Ameen 🤲🏻🤲🏻🤲🏻❤️❤️

Their views on having kids 🥺 today's society views kids as a curse. It's so sad, even in my case, as a hispanic, when you get pregnant young(me at 21) your whole family gets mad at you and it's like your world is falling apart 💔 it's very sad, and I think we, as women feel that, and that makes us treat our kids certain way 😪 I pray to Hashem that he has mercy over us and give me the wisdom I need to raise 3 boys(Isaac, Abraham and Gadiel) in his Torah, and that they are fearing humans that bring kindness into this world 🌎

💯. I’d have had 10 kids if I could have! I always wanted a large family and didn’t mind working hard for that family. It’s a joy! I had my last child at 42. There were people that asked me why I’d start all over when my older kids were already teenagers. She’s here because she was meant to come to our family. And having the last child has been one of the greatest happiness in our lives. ♥️

To each their own. Some people don't want children. Some people can't have children. Some people shouldn't have children. Some people adopt the children of the ones who neglected them...
Many people believe that God will provide - and they work a lot for it - but live an impoverished life, especially people of colour.
Great accomplishments don't depend on your parental status.

What about Jewish women who can’t have children (or men who can’t “multiply”)? What about couples choosing not to have children? What about same-sex relationships? Your channel talks a lot about the union of a man and a woman, marriage, be fruitful but what is your stance towards Jewish people that are gay, don’t want to marry or have children etc? If you are saying that your way is the only right way and God’s way, what do you think will happen to gay, trans, childless (Jewish) people? Is God going to be less benevolent to these folks? If you answered with no then why would you want to follow all the strict rules to begin with. If you answered with yes then would it mean God wasn’t tolerant? My opinion is, that marriages are kept healthy by love, by mutual respect and by following the Torah, which is love.

Orthodox families seldom divorce as it is based on common goals, not " I was in love" or " This is the man/woman I always wanted". The kids and their education is the modus operandi, so they won't let minor disagreements become major disputes. It is like a business with two partners striving to make it successful, no matter what.

I have a legitimate question, if a woman has an abortion is she automatically damned for eternity? Would if she has a child after an abortion? Does God forgive a woman for having an abortion in the Orthodox Jewish religion? Your mom is so sweet BTW!

No one is ever damned for eternity. We have a gift called teshuvah, repentance. If followed properly, all sins can be forgiven

    What about overpopulation?!?
Where should all these people live (every generation multiplying by 8) ?!?
And where does the money come from?!?

Overpopulation is a myth and in fact we aren’t having enough children to sustain ourselves as the world is aging. We have strong communal support and bonds with one another. Also, many happen to be successful and both my parents are college grads.

I asked the Jewish family why they had so many kids and they told me it is required for Jewish families to have as many children as they can afford to replenish the Earth for all the Jews who were killed during the holocaust. Not sure if this is true but I can understand the fight!

The Lubavitcher Rebbe and his wife were never able to have children. It obviously didn’t hinder his or his wife’s influence in the community.
