Great job..! It's the best hand made design I've found. I'm very interested in having it. Any ready stock unit where I can I buy or complete drawing I can purchase?
What would be great is this: a set of vector files for laser cutting, a set of files for 3D printing and finally a list of the other components required (screws, linear bearings etc). All together they could be sold as files or you could sell all the parts together (cut, 3D printed, screws etc) in a box for people to assemble on their own. Just saying. Read the domino patents first though. Thumbs up 👍
hola, no había tenido el gusto de ver tu video. es excelente. desde luego que me parece mas practico y económico que otras herramientas como las engalladoras y el domino. vendes tu version? que precio tiene?

hello super video is that I could have the plans to detail the sheet metal cutouts because I have a laser and I would like to reproduce this super mortiser
Looks like the only plans are the ones that are displayed in the video and one could pause the video and write down the info, or do a screen capture and then draw their own. For those of us who don't have air grinders, we will have to use some type of router, so some changes will need to be made. For the moment I will make a simpler loose tenon design from another video and at a later date either make a router based version of this, or Frankenstein a version using this design and features from two other mortising jigs from two different channels. The other jigs use small routers, but a CNC spindle may fit better. Then again, I may take one of the other two and modify them to be able to do vertical mortises and call it a day. Being able to cut a mortise at different angles is enticing, but how often would I need to cut a mortise at an angle? My experience with a biscuit jointer is never. This jig looks fantastic, and it looks like it could rival a Domino in function, but it may be a little slower than using a Domino. Since I don't own a Domino and don't plan to buy one, I have no idea of just how fast it is for joinery.
is that safe to use bits for wood on a super high rpm? i think router tools is up to 30k rpm and i believe this air drill is around 60k, can we setup it to low rpm? pls correct me if im wrong, thanks
Clever, but a word of caution: Based on experience with plate joiners relying on fence to make cut parallel with board is a very 'iffy' business,. BTW: the materials chosen do Not make this a cheap tool to build
I know a lot of people already asked this but....I'll try again. Any schematic, drawings, dimensions or plan you can share (or sell) with us? Many thanks
use that festertool a lot and it'll wear like crazy and start making sloppy bores because of that damn fool rotating oscillation they engineered it with. They overreached.
@@michaelwilliams9989 I'm sorry. This product is not for sale. Make it for yourself. It's not difficult. And $42.5 is the price of stainless steel plates and laser cutting.

Domino Slayer. I hate Festertool. I'd like to know how many iterations you went through before this. Looks like you are getting a nice fit. PLUS I've taken a used Domino apart. they wear terribly become sloppy and turn into junk quickly with frequent use. That gizmo you have doesn't have that damn fool oscillating motion that is the biggest fail point of the domino. You go side to side. I think I''ll make one. Owning a Bridgeport and an engine lather I can make dovetailed and gibbed ways. But when you find those drawer slides wearing and getting sloppy you might try small hardened ground steel shafting and simple oillite bronze bearings you can get at a hardware store for your bearing surfaces.
