Keith Zimmerman, owner of Keith's Haircenter demonstrates how to cut-in a hair system. Hair Restoration is one of Keith's specialties. He is an international educator in this field.
I've watched so many people do mens haircuts and you are the first one that I would actually ask to cut my hair. As a barber I do exactly the same method as you did on this hairpiece. It's so unusual to see somebody else do the exact same method that I have done for years when doing this same cut.
My opinion...I done work in behind the scenes in theater and a razor was always used to do the whole hair cutting of a hair system and the shorter it's cut the more unnatural it will look.
This is exactly why I've learned to do my own cut-in over the span of the last 40 years I've worn hair. I've received so many BAD cuts like this, turning what would have been a decent looking system into a wiggy mess that can be spotted a mile away, I essentially called it quits and took matters into my own hands....Years ago I said no to this...There's a reason back in the day they called these "rugs". You're witnessing it here. Nope, this is not a good technique at all.
I have to be honest. I would never want a cut like what I've seen here. It has absolutely no style. Most of the hair is destroyed by the haphazard way it's cut. Sorry, but you should look at some of the other videos out there where the hair is styled and not chopped. Try looking at Chuck Fieri...spelling might be a bit off...that guy knows how to style a hair system. Someone wearing a hair system I'm sure wants to look as good as possible. This video wouldn't convince them that's what they would get. My advice would be to show some of the cuts and styles you've done on real people.
I'm sorry but his cutting skills are horrible. I'm usually not a person who make a negative comment but this was not a very good execution on his part. Very sloppy while cutting. Hair should of been damp while cutting the mannequin's hair. Just my observation.

Guy sure chopped that up, fucked up
Ruined a perfectly looking lony style😢
Why not leave that hairpiece the way it is ?
it looks just fine long 😦
Can you advise why the 4420 blending sheer the best for a hair system? How many teeth on the sheer should there be?
SupDown4u the 44/20 is actually a blending shear. Barbers originally used them to take a lune it of tapered haircuts.

How is it attached to the manikin head?
Attached with double sided wig tape.
Is there anyone who watched this, then felt even remotely comfortable cutting in their own (or anyone else’s) system (that’s never done it before)?
Do I need a dummy? Or can I put it on a soccor ball?
AWFUL
The hair is too dry to cut resulting in split ends.
The end style is a mess
Why??
Interesting.
What if the toupee hair doesn't match the person's real hair at the back? What then?
😮 what ! Why? 😲

The place I went to charged me 275 for cutting it and dyeing it. Ridiculous!
I think this is what medications do to some people😮
I wouldn't want my hair to look like that at all.
Get a different style...
He horribly ruined a nice hair piece 😲
Would of been nice to see it on a real person....

Yikes!!!! Lessons on how to destroy a perfectly good hair system. Depressing for the person who paid for and had to wear a birds nest on their head.
