Absolutely wonderful, gentlemen, love the synth, that perfectly timed bass thing, guitar is outstanding, just a perfect blend of incredible sounds, BRAVO !! 💯🔥🔥🔥
The bass is a 303 running in its default mode….I probably used pure acid app programmed a note.I first heard this used in Protection by massive attack,it always stuck in my mind and it got its outing in this track…lol
This is so freakin awesome. Love the video and the music ROCKS with a funky on fire vibe. Hugh is so lucky that scenery is amazing. It looks like Scottland or Ireland. Not sure where Hugh is from, but it looks so beautiful. This right here is why I love this community so much. The love and respect for each other. I admire that and find solace in it. AWESOME TRIBUTE to Hugh.🔥🥀
@@russ8889 i dare you to release it on your channel hahaha. Maybe it is a fun idea for us all to have a second channel where we post all our demos that don’t kae it onto our main channel. Give us all a good laugh about ourselves lol 🤣👍🍻
You have probably seen far more of the U.K than me……I love the fact you travel so much,a good way to fill your life with new experiences…..I admire that
Great track you two! I love the Highlands and feel deeply connected to them. This is sometimes reflected in my music as well 🙂 Regards to Huuuuuuuuuugh 💐
I’ve only ever made it to Scotland twice overnight unfortunately,my wife always wanted to go but I always traveled abroad, never really seen much of England really.only away day football matches to various regions.I can’t see me making it there now so this video is a close as I will get unless I work with Hugh sometime lol
Thanks Semtex, Groove Armada, massive attack, leffield, portershead are definitely something I listen to and love the more chilled vibe they bring I’m slowly leaving dance music behind….lol
We were there for it all mate, love hearing your versions of the different genres. The electro boogie you did recently got me dancing. No more spinning on my back unless I want a visitor to the doctors 😂.
@@russ8889 not too bad thanks Russ. Bought my first 2 synths of the year, a Yamaha SY55, and a Korg X50, so just learning how to program the Korg as it only arrived today. Hope you are well.
Thank you Roady after just doing electronic music for so long it’s all fairly new stuff to me working with guitars and not guitar samples.I can’t and cannot play hardware instruments but I listen to a lot of different music and draw on my knowledge of how things should sound.I only one keyboard chord off by heart lol.I just make whatever sounds right and don’t know anything technical about music theory I just put it all together note by note to what sounds good to my ear without any attention to if you can a cannot but those notes together. The new Delicate Giants stuff coming is different for me as I have to think about others people playing and have to stick to the rules a bit more.I just love experimenting with different sounds and styles and luckily I can pull it off most of the time.
Beautiful work Russ and Gary. Lovely scenery too. Highlands and Islands might be an apt title for the video, because some of your footage is from Skye.
It’s all north to me mate lol…….you do live in a beautiful part of the world if Scotland only had the weather I would never have gone abroad.Thank you for you continued support Scott I do appreciate it
I think we’re going to surprise you with the new Delicate Giants album when we get it out…..I’m very critical of my own music like I’m sure all musicians are but what is to come I think is some of my best work to date. It’s unusual for me to be happy lol
@@russ8889 you already layed the bar high before Russ and Gary. I really look forward to hear that album then. I know the feeling of being critical to the own music. I am happy for you, you are happy with it 😊
Great mix, I enjoyed listening to it. Well done and a nice tribute to Hugh's home country.

I closed my eyes, ear it was very scenic. Shared. I had a light green Cadillac i called Nessy 🦕
Nice drums, and an overall great sound
well done...😎
Another older iPad project, the drums were I think nanostudio 2 drums I know I doubled the kick drum with a 808 to give it a little boom.

Cool groove track, Russ!!!!! Does the video end with ancient Roman aqueducts?
That's Glenfinnan viaduct at Loch Shiel. It's a railway line. It does have a bit of a Roman look about it, but it dates from around 1900.
@@SMBorthwick I think I know that it was also the backdrop for a Harry Potter movie 🤔
Hopefully you have all the answers you need from Scott.Thank you for checking it out Chris
