In today's video, we are exploring Palms Book State park. Home of the largest freshwater spring in Michigan, Kitch-iti-Kipi. Kitch-iti-Kipi means "Big Spring" and is also referred to as the "Mirror of Heaven". One look at the water and you will understand why! The big spring is located near Manistique, Michigan, and is less than an hour from Munising, Michigan. It was worth the drive! If you are ever in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, make sure you leave time to visit this hidden gem. Kitch-iti-Kipi is a beautiful example of what Pure Michigan has to offer.

We are headed there in September! We have had our plans change so much this year...but the UP is happening (again). Lol The only time we have been to Kitch-iti-kipi was in a February...it was snow covered and absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to see it without snow 😀

Hi guys! I was watching over Nancy's shoulder when she was watching this video. I had to come in and see it on the computer so I could comment. Watching the whole video. I love the scenery at the beginning. I love the, Be Strange shirts! Kitch-Iti-Kipi allows dogs? Even on the floating dock? Mirror of Heaven, indeed! I love all the trees, we are supposed to be chasing the 70's but we are lucky to find 90's these days. :) Disconnecting dock? Could be scary if you didn't know and someone disembarks. lol. So cool seeing the clear water and the sand writhing. Odd it doesn't cloud the water. And cool! Fantastic video my friend! I also want to thank you for being our 7th best commenter on our page!
