I really enjoyed this video and your philosophies on finding enjoyment in archery. I am always seeking to improve my shooting but stop short of it becoming a chore. I shoot a bow because I love doing it and I enjoy challenging myself to improve my form and technique. I don’t want to lose that by making it a job.
that looks like an amazing place, we need to join private clubs to shoot anything like that here in South NJ. Sadly, something like that would never work here we have a couple really nice public ranges with 20, 30, 40, 50 lanes/targets but they get completely shot out after just a couple months from broadheads.
Nice looking setups there guys and some good groups for guestamating . Really like the shooting Bowtech and wearing PSE and Elite trying to keep all sponsors happy 🤣👍👍
Great videos guys. Very down to earth stuff, which is hard to find in YTland. But I do have one request: please invest in a gimbal for your phones. You're video quality will greatly improve, and people like me won't get as seasick watching your videos.
Huge fan. Normally not a big fan of the Dudley releases either. I shot caliper release for 12+ years, so it gives me the anchor I like and also fixes some of my hunting related issues with a true tension release. I'll have to do a video on it.
IMO, having fun at the range is way more enjoyable when you are making good to great shots. Over time working at getting your form and technique better and better will only enhance the fun. And shots don't need to be 100 yarders either. Whatever you're comfortable with and as time goes by you can reach out a few yards at a time. Adding distance to your shooting slowly and deliberately selecting the targets can add confidence to your game. Try to be mentally relaxed and at ease because it's not a matter of life or death. It's a sport/ game. Make shooting more enjoyable with a game with friends. We practice a lot shooting at the others arrows. Taking turns who shoots first and maybe their score the others try to hit that first arrow. Very seldom is an arrow ruined. But it teaches concentration while having " mean" good time.
8:09 we sure do man! May I ask what those targets are made out of? I live in a shitty place (the cucked matriarchal dictatorship of Sweden) where there are no such things are bow ranges, thus have to build my own. By the looks of it, those targets are old, yet hold up pretty well. How would one go about making one of those by himself?
Seriously guys, that's some mighty fine work at a 100. Dead elk or a deer? lol, I shot at a coyote once at like 80 yards. He was like 30 feet away by the time the arrow got there.
Ouuuch 9:42 that sounds like new arrow.
I think he actually kept that one, some of those gold tips are crazy

I agree as I’m a mere mortal archer as well who likes to have a good time.
No pull threw with that hinge what's up with that and how
I have mastered being able to punch any release put in my hand. Trying to work on it this indoor season.

You give up on the Elite Terrain?
Nope, she did the job. Shot a nice buck with it. Owning a bow shop, it actually lasted a bit longer than most bows do for me.
Great vid guys. Better shooting then I'll ever do! Where do you get those big block targets? Thanks💙😣🎯 I have the Solution also. Sr6 ,Ventum33
Thank you! I have no idea where they're from actually.
Any updated thoughts on the vista 33 after shooting it for a while?
I’m a big fan. It shoots better than a 33 inch bow should. Honestly don’t have a single
Complaint with it.
Is that a 2022 Vista 33??
It’s a 2021.
Man Athens always looks like such a smooth bow
8:09 we sure do man!

They are layered foam targets made by Block.
Is this a public range? If so, where’s it located in Ohio?
Yes, open to the public. Punderson State Park in Newbury, OH
