Thank you for the questions. The water sprayed on is the Sika® Tooling Agent N that can be used straight away after the application. It is a water-based, solvent-free tooling agent for Sika's elastic sealants and adhesives. The Tooling Agent is designed for smoothening freshly applied Sikaflex sealants. The masking tapes should be removed after the sealant have been applied, or (if the case) smoothed.
It is Sika® Primer-3 N which is designed for Sikaflex®, SikaHyflex®, SikaBond® and Sikasil® products used on porous substrates like concret, concrete precast, GRC, GRP and metals.

Sikaflex sealants are elastic and therefore do not crack in compression or elongation. Joints are designed spaces for the building elements to expand and contract. Joint sealants waterproof these joints.
Thank you for your question. We advise to use the Sika Primer-3N for the concrete application. It is a solvent-based primer designed for Sikaflex®, SikaHyflex®, SikaBond® and Sikasil® products.
