YELLOWFIN TUNA Fishing on the San Diego

Jumped on the San Diego for a full-day fishing trip. We drove a long time until we hit two good stops in the afternoon before returning. The first stop was a wide open yellowfin tuna bite with some skipjack mixed in. It really did go from boredom to chaos within a matter of seconds. From the deckhand starting to throw chum, to 8+ anglers hooked up at the same time. There's a good reason they call it bloodydecks. The last stop produced some larger tuna, but not as many numbers. All in all we had an fun day catching tuna on a full day boat. We ended up with 108 yellowfin tuna and 27 skipjack for 35 anglers.
