Big Bear Lake

Visited Big Bear Lake for the first time in years. It was kind of a last minute thing, but my wife was able to find us a great cottage to stay at away from all of the crowds. It was perfect considering the COVID19 pandemic. We arrived on a Thursday and basically had the place to ourselves.
We hooked up with some friends at Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain. While we were there, the new Mineshaft Coaster had just opened days before so we got to experience that too. The ride was nice and smooth. A definite must if you're there.
On our second day, we rented a pontoon boat at Holloway's Marina. Unfortunately, the trout we're cooperating that day, but we had a great time out on the water.
In the afternoon, we took in a bike ride on the Alpine Pedal Path located on the other side of the lake.
