Tbh everyone who is complainging that this does not do that or this is not that, ... have not read ANY of the descriptions on the site, and it shows... The vhs style box is meant to hold both the game (which is in the blister and can be removed with a trap door on the back) and the steelcase. The arcade was mentioned to play a trailer for the game. The figure is actually a rerelease of original 1988 figure of shredder, so it's cool that they made it available again. It might not be 100% worth the $200, but for a fan of tmnt and especially this game, it is more them worth it.
Agree. The cabinet was a huge miss to me. It plays a trailer of a game that is already included in the package. I get that it's a display piece but I still don't see the point. As you say, why not make it playable, with the first 2 arcade games for example?
I"m a hardcore TMNT collector but I think this pack is not worth the price... I have the other collector edition, cheaper with a metal coaster, 4 enamel pins, 1 enamel keyring, 1turtle mask, soundtrack cd, rubber keyring and 1 mini guide and it was like 70$ ; I think it's the perfect value with better goodies.
Adding these items up individually, this seems way overpriced to me. It's too bad you can't buy the shadow box and strat guide separately. They look really nice.
For an extra £20ish you can get the baldurs gate 3 collectors edition. Which seems to be more worth the value compared to this set. Not to say the set is bad, I'd like one. But I wouldn't pay that price.
Not unless some reseller sells stuff seperately there isn't always crap when the books or Soundtrack only come with the CE or LE and there is never the option to purchase them seperately
Retro Dodo, is there any way that the Tmnt Shredder's Revenge mini arcade can be modded so that you can replace it's trailer with the Mike Patton TMNT trailer?
not worth the price, the vhs tape shouldve been real and the cabinet couldve been functional even making it slightly bigger. The action figure seems a bit like they were just tryna throw something extra in and couldve added something a bit more higher quality but overall 200 dollars is steep for a game no matter how much extras you get. I wont be buying it but if u will be go ahead
Well.. Looks cool, for fan of series it might be fine price, retail value will be lower and in fact, if it'll be really limited, than 199 is reasonable, but if it's regular mass product, I do agree, 150 sounds better. Still I wouldn't spent that amount of money on it, I prefer something that would be useful, but.. I'm not fan of series, not into it and know nothing about lore, so :D You know
@@RetroDodo well.. I love how you developed that channel, guys, also can't get enough of your content (especially game ranks and lists on site) and truth is that it's amazing to see people monetise their hobbies, and clearly enjoy what they do. Keep being amazing!
Not gonna lie, looking at your video, it's not worth the 200$, maybe 150 top, although I am waiting on my own copy to arrive as I write this. With the DLC coming at the end of this month, they could've released the collection at a later time and included it. They also could've included the GameBoy TMNT games that are on the Cowabunga collection im the mini arcade cabinet. Some of the things in the box are definitely not worth it, who needs that many boxes? Although, the strategy guide, steelbox, the arcade cabinet and the action figure are all cool.
Not even close to being worth $200. The strategy guide is nice but honestly it's a scrolling beat em up, who needs a guide for that? The vhs thing being just a card box is cheap and a bit of a con, and the arcade cabinet is a missed opportunity. I'd feel pretty disappointed tbh.
this was the most disappointing game i bought in the past year or so, I go into multiplayer and I jsut see 3 other players doing their "taunt" to charge their super, then they spam their super over and over, that was the entire gameplay compared to Streets of Rage 4 which had a solid combat system. SO disapointed from a TMNT fanboy from the 90s
It's a great game and I had a ton of fun with it but you're right, players do spam the taunt to the point where it breaks the flow because they stop every time they've used their special attack to refill it again with the taunt.

I do think its worth the price. The full game, shadowbox, mini arcade, figure, book. A pretty solid collection of stuff for hardcore fans.

As much as I miss seeing Brandon on this channel, I really like Rob a lot and enjoy his voice… it’s an asmr thing for me.
Totally worth the price! I feel so dumb for not buying it when it was up for sale. It comes with so much amazing stuff!
If it came with an actual vhs and comic, then yes.
The guide/art book looks killer, but certainly not worth the price of admission, but maybe I can find one on the secondary market.
Great unboxing
For this price, why didn't they include a couple of classic games? The little cabinet could have played one game.
Thanks!

Looks more like Mighty Mutant Power Turtles - the ultimate Ali Express collection
😂😂😂
Limited run is always limited value unfortunately
Ok

For me, the bangers in this box are the poster, strategy guide and soundtrack. I hope there is a way to get that guide separately!

@@markpugh6808 I just looked it up. People are selling the game and manual only for 100 bucks on eBay.
This looks so cool
I’d buy it. Wish it was available in the UK, shame we never get any of these limited editions
U.K. has a better version and they don't support a pedophile like Limited Run does.

A modder could likely do it yes... me... ha, no chance. 😂
Glad it was your money lad and not mine. Agreed, not $199 worth of product there.
Right! I think I need this, dam it Brandon, you got me💸😂 but 199, wish the video tape was real😢

That's literally a Poundland figurine.
I had the original figure as a kid but Shredders Mask and armour was blue instead of grey

I'd feel pretty disappointed tbh.
You literally reviewed everything except for properly showing the beautiful artwork once you take the slipcover off
Maybe $119
It’s an emotional purchase for collectors and fans of tmnt none of that is worth even half that
do you have makeup on your face or is it a filter?
Neither, just damn good lighting.
That VHS is extremely disappointing, even if they chucked in a blank tape that would be better.
Price wise it's a hard no, but it is pretty cool. I won't be investing though.
no it's over-priced
👍👍
Enjoy it while you can, I'm not supporting LRG after they decided to fire a female employee and keep a pedophile on their team.
Whole box probably worth 20 bucks really. Can't even play the tiny arcade, what a joke.
No sir. Not worth 199
Nope... not worth $200.
I think it's a rip off

No it does not. The guide started production july of last year. Since the DLC was released just a few weeks ago that would have been unlikely.
