Bought it launch day, it still has 98% battery health and I average around 8 hour SoT daily. Using a 65w charger btw(ofc it only uses 28w of it). No charging routines, charged to full, plugged in again when its
I upgraded from the 11 Pro Max to the 14 Pro Max in January and loving it. Creating content, shooting and editing video, photos and audio has been a dream on this phone and made so easy. The battery has been great too; I’m a heavy user and currently at 99% capacity easily seeing a Day/ Day and a half on average with 8-10 hours of screen on time. Our models still have a sim tray too so that’s a major plus for me personally.
@@lootgamesyt-9769 I have no idea mate 😂. I was wondering if it’s anything to do with the models? Maybe some launch day phone batches had battery issues as opposed to ones manufactured later?
Summary: Let me tell you how confused I am (expecting to hear all the bad things) = I really LOVE this phone! LOL I love mine too, got it when it came out and the battery is still 100% but I probably don't use it as much as most people do. I'm still not happy with the camera app, I wish we had more control over all of the settings for photos and video. I'd like to take photos of my artwork and have the colors, contrast and sharpness adjustable in the app. (And no, shooting in RAW and editing later doesn't help, it's still off)
If you didn't understand how I was confused then you need to re-watch the vid lol. It is easily the most confusing iPhone I've ever used for battery reasons, the camera autofocus, the dynamic island, etc. But I'm glad you are enjoying yours and consider yourself lucky to still be at 100% - that's awesome! I'd love that too for photos, but for now I'm happy using Halide Mark II
@@BrandonButch I do understand, I was just kidding around 😄 I’ve been using iPhones and macs since we could all own them (I’m old enough to be your mom, maybe even your grandmom 🤣 I love them and love to hate them sometimes too!
@@LieslHuddleston haha these days it's hard to tell when people are joking around! And I highly doubt grandmom since I'm 30! But yes, it's always a love/hate relationship with at least 1 thing every year
@@BrandonButch no problem, I have a tough time putting into words what I’m thinking these days so I can understand if it came off weird. It’s amazing how far iPhones have come in such a short time and also how demanding we can be in what we want. Hopefully they’re listening. I’m honestly happy they keep bringing a new one out as often as they do because even minor adjustments are nice to see! Anyway, you’re doing a great job here, I always enjoy watching.
Never have I read such cute conversation like this one before. And yeah mine is also still at 100% and it has been almost a year of using it. Still works fine with me on my daily use. I upgraded from iPhone XS (I Prefer pocketable phone) and I highly appreciate and grateful for the significant upgrade from how it was with the iPhone XS
I just went from a 12 with Battery Health 88% to a 12 Pro Max with 85% and I leave work with 64% battery instead of 26% battery. The difference in battery life is MASSIVE between the smaller and larger phones. I highly recommend a Pro Max phone for your daily use
Still on my 12 Pro Max, about 80% battery health left and had it since launch. Can't wait to upgrade, 13 and 14 weren't enough to sell the upgrade alone, but the 15 will be a nice bump.
I’ve had a great experience with this phone, only issue is my battery life since I came from a 13 pro max…and battery health sitting at 88%, and like you said minimum focus distance and some trouble focusing on macro , otherwise great phone
@@saplays8473 i gave my 13 pro max to my father it was a bit large for my daily usage but I agree it was a great phone and in some ways better , there was less procsssing on the photos , much better battery, better minimum focusing distance and no trouble with macro focusing on things which I have on this one
My battery health is at 90% from launch day 14 pro but I haven’t noticed a decline in daily use. Makes me wonder if it’s the chip heat, FL heat or maybe they are just getting better at correctly calculating the health and it’s not an issue
@@BrandonButch nah, unlikely. I think the sensor inside the BMS is reporting bogus data. Check your capacity with Coconutbattery. Mine is actually ABOVE the factory standard (a.k.a. design capacity) but the phone shows 99% already. Which never happened on previous iPhones as any "overcapacity" would just be reported as 100% until it actually dropped below the design capacity. Maybe this is even intentional, who knows.
y’all phone review channels are so spoiled 😭😭😭 I had the iphone 11 for 3 years, and to me it’s such an amazing phone!!! i love it so much!!! I do need an upgrade, so i’ll be getting this phone!
Here in EU we have 5G absolutely everywhere BUT it's not working at all. Having the 5G icon on my iPhone doesn't mean i will have fast connection and its not better than LTE for most of the time... No point in building 5G everywhere when you limit it...
I've had my 14 pro for just over 5 months now and it is still at 100% thankfully. My brother with the pro max, however, has been experiencing issues with his battery within the first year. So we'll see what happens!
I upgraded from a Xs to a 14 Pro back in November and it's been sooo good, I absolutely love this device. Everything about it is great, design, cameras, display, battery and so on. When it comes down to battery life, well I think I could be an outlier, but I'm at 100% still. I live in Italy and it does get pretty warm during summer (we are currently in a month-ish streak of 33-35°C every day), but I just don't use the iPhone in direct sunlight that much. I think most people criticising battery life are not aware of the system settings that you should absolutely change (background app refresh and location services) since those are a battery killer; and ofc put it in airplane mode when connected to wifi, specially if you are in a low signal zone on a daily basis. Apart from that, I look forward to spending at least 3 to 4 more years with this phone. 1400€ is not a cheap investment for me and I just can't stand people changing phone yearly, like why waste that many phones guys? (not talking about you, I know it's literally your job)
oh I forgot, I charge my iPhone with a wireless charger every night, without dropping it below 25% like ever and with optimised battery charging on. If wireless charging doesn't damage my battery, then there is definitely something wrong with what the majority of people is doing otherwise I can't explain this battery life epidemic ahahah
Thankyou so much, such a relief that i found your comment!, i’m so confused which one should i choose beetwen iphone 14 pro / 15 base model, and seeing many people said iphone 14 pro has a bad battery making me more confused🫠
The battery has definitely been a noticeable change from my 13. But I don’t think the heat is the issue. I’m in VA and it’s been a relatively cool summer and my battery is at 92% health. I’ve had mine since maybe a month after launch.
@@sammymarrco2 yeah I noticed a lot of people have this issue. And there is a big difference in this models battery performance. I know that the heat doesn't help but I never really have mine out in the heat in general and this area being close to the ocean isn't too terrible just humid. And since I have never had this issue with any other phone Im enclined to think it's just the battery being crap and not so much the heat.
@@luccatraslosheros6866 I know AOD is having an affect because when it was on it was even worse but I changed it to the black wallpaper option and I usually always set it face down. I have seen tons of people talk about poor battery life on the 14 pros in general as well. I’ve had a lot of different iphones over the years and this one is the most noticeably bad for a first year.
My 14 Pro still had 99% Battery Capacity, i never charged it overnight, the battery is good enough to start the day with 75%, at the end of the day i mostly still have like 30% or more
Going great on my 14 Pro Max! Battery health dropped by 1% within my first 2 months but so far after 6 months I'm holding steady on that 99% Nothing else really to complain about, just an overall enjoyable experience....
I have mine for 5 months now and is still at 100%. In my opinion its amazing. I have an avarage screen time of 4 to 5 hours and my battery lasts 1 day. Sometimes i just charge when going out just to be sure., but i never use a powerbank
Mine stayed at 100 for the first 5 months then dropped to 99, 98, 96 then 92 I’m now on 87. This is a launch day 14 Pro and I charge only when I need to so idk
Got mine in February and it’s holding up great. Battery health is still at 100% but I have to say I only use 5w charger and MagSafe only through the battery pack when I’m on a trip or something. I am more satisfied with this one than what I was with the 13 pro.
I am currently using 13mini for 2yrs and i am going to get the 14pro soon.. thanks for a positive feedback on this phone. No plans of getting the 15 series
I have to say, my 14 Pro Max is STILL at 100% peak capacity, I bought it in October 2022, but I try to keep it cold while charging, when it gets too hot for me to hold I unplug it, and I try not to expose it to high temperatures as much as I can. So it seems to me that A. I got lucky with a bigger battery than advertised, and B. It's a game of taking care of it. Kinda like how you wouldn't want to compress all of your daily meals to one meal before you go to sleep, because you wouldn't feel good and you'll probably get tired more quickley, like how batteries shouldn't be charged overnight because their capacity will decrease faster. I don't really let it fall below 20%. About three weeks ago I accidently got to 19% and charged it. But I do go above 80%, and it doesn't seem to affect my battery at all. I do notice battery life impacts from software updates though. But it's not anything serious, and if I charge it to 100%, it feels like I have 130% left.
I really hope that Apple makes the camera better for farther shots. I want to be able to take pictures from farther away not up close. I don’t need to see dust mites lol 😂.
The lack of a SIM tray will likely kill my getting a 15. Stayed with my 13 as I need a physical sim for work (travel). Work has a solution for me now but I am seeing via peers and others that eSIM here in the US and other locals still has some serious maturing to do.
Agreed. I’m in the UK and was using an eSim. Was going great until I changed phone and it totally screwed up the eSim transfer. Was without signal for 3 days waiting for a physical sim to turn up because my provider couldn’t fix it.
THIS was a major reason why I skipped the 14, loss of my physical Sim. I've actually swapped my Sim from iPhone to this old, slow...but still somewhat trusty Note 9 my brother gave me in late 2019. Not a fan of this Esim at all, no more popping out old sim card from old phone to new phone....and of course "activation fee" of 35-40 bucks each time by the carriers is a total BS money grab.
I got my 14 Pro Max back in February and I’m still at 100% battery health, I always have Low Power Mode on and I think that’s what’s saving my battery health. I also don’t live in a very hot state but we do get hot days and I try to stay inside on those hot days.
how can you live with low power mode always on, i want to throw mine out of the window because of the 120hz screenrate loss so i only turn it on when i'm under 10 percent
@@movritz the 60Hz doesn’t bother me, and low power mode literally saves my battery health from being drained. Like I said I live where it’s not constantly hot but I will say this, when I gave my husband my 13 pro max it was at 99% battery health, when I checked it 2 months later, it was at 90% and that’s because he did not have it on low power mode.
I live in Jacksonville, FL I have had an iPhone 14 Pro Max and I had for almost a full year then the screen started acting up, my Face ID, battery life, and way more. I made an apple Genius Bar appoint to get it looked & repaired. The guy told me when the diagnostic testing was done that the software apple uses for diagnostics tells what main issues it’s experiencing and where it’s cheaper to replace the whole phone or to repair it. The apple employee said & showed me too that my phone was basically fucked in every major area of the phone. Lucky they were able to determine it was nothing I had done to cause it but my iPhone 14 pro max I guess just gave up or something. Luckily I’m on the every year iPhone upgrade program and so due to the internal issues it was experiencing it was covered up the limited warranty (I also have apple care+). I didn’t have to pay a dime.
Remember when the low power mode notification popped up and stopped whatever you were doing in the background until you clicked the popup? Yeah the dynamic island is goat’d.
It seems likely that the higher brightness display and the addition of Magsafe has been contributing to decreased battery longevity. Either that or Apple's software that measures the battery health is measuring more accurately after all of the updates they've done with it.

I work at a T-Mobile corporate store and I had no issues at all when all the iPhone 14 series I activated really. But I can see why carriers are having issues activating eSIMs. It’s complicated technology for a lot of employees to understand. It’s been out since the iPhone X though and since the first Pixel. And it wasn’t pushed like Apple is doing.
It was an easy process till t-mobile changed their policy and won't allow customers to switch using EID anymore. You have to call or go to a store very inconvenient. When I asked they said their are enhancing the website for security and better customer experience and that was 6 months ago.
@@rahullulay totally agree with you. I work with them, I don’t wanna be calling them to have my EID activated everytime I get a phone or need to swap a phone with my number. I liked doing it on my own. Hopefully they bring it back to the site again.
This is so strange (regarding battery health), I purchased my iPhone 14 Pro on release day so i've had it for almost a year now and im at 99% battery health. I live in Melbourne, Australia and this phone has also experienced multiple days above 110F (~43 celcius). I rarely charge my phone to 100% though, this may be why.
If it wasn’t for the screen brightness and the emergency satellite feature and accident crash feature I would have been happy with the iPhone 13 Pro Max . The dynamic island doesn’t really interest me after the first couple of weeks. I actually forgot about this until you reminded me 😂
How much do you think the exposure to high temperatures has affected your low battery percentage? I'm upgrading from my trusty 11 Pro Max and that's something that's important to me
I think it has a lot to do with my percentage. I live in south Texas and had my pro max since launch day; and I’m currently sitting at 92%. Not to mention I have a wireless charging phone mount on the windshield of my car.
I upgraded from the 11PM and the difference is very noticeable, battery is amazing. Best bet is to keep your phone out of high temperatures. Mine has been exposed to high temperatures but it was in my bag at the time and off. So it’s been okay
Battery life can be seriously degraded by using beta software. This happened to me on my previous iPhone 13 Pro, but not on my newer 14 Pro (I still have 100% capacity on my 14 Pro after 6 months use.) ZT has had serious battery degradation on at least one of his devices and he used beta software, as you appear to use also. Many on ZT have reported this huge problem. I absolutely love my 14Pro! I doubt I'll upgrade to the 15.
Not true my 14pms battery health is at 91 in running ios 17 where as sisters 14pro is at same 91 but she got phone 2 months late than me and also she’s using ios 16.
@@aakashkaushal1167The battery on the pro max is holding up better than the smaller pro. So thats most likely why your sisters is so low. I have the 14 pro max and got it on launch day, im using iOS 16 and my battery health is at 100%.
@@aakashkaushal1167 I think that is for those with pro models and not pro max no? Cause I have seen others with pro max who wrote they still had 100% health, but maybe it's a little different from user to user depending how much they use the phone and for what, or how many times they charged it and if they use beta software etc. :)
I cannot wait for iPhone 15. I like my 14Pro but not as much as my 12Pro. One thing that drives me crazy more than battery life is that my display is non responsive a lot. I have to keep pressing to open apps or even just wake my phone. Super frustrating 🙄 My battery is at 92%. Bought it at launch date.
Did you buy the 15? I bought the 15 Pro but battery life is bad and the sharp edges literally cut my finger 🥲 thinking about trading it for base model 15
My battery is still at 100% (I have the 14 Pro Max) but I notice it has been draining faster and faster with the latest updates (pre-beta). There are days I barely use my phone and I finish the day at 34% with 100% battery health.
I have an iPhone 13. Flawless, but it wasn’t the best phone for me. Planning to sell it and get a preowned iPhone 14 Pro, but am choosing to wait for the 15s. This year, the iPhone 14 was basically a 13 Pro minus a camera, more premium build and ProMotion. The iPhone 15 seems to be falling in the same direction: 14 Pro minus a camera, ProMotion, Always On Display and stainless steel. A brand new iPhone 14 Pro ($999 US) in my country is about $1400, and I can’t pay that much. For $800, should I get the 14 Pro preowned or wait for the standard 15?
100% agree except with cellular connectivity. I use T-Mobile and a few times I’ve been traveling and have switched on 5G ,which in most metro areas is 5Guc, just to download a couple movies before a flight and I’ve been able to do so in less than 2 minutes. I often do connection tests on 5G that top out at 6-700 mbps and have even gotten as high as 1gbsp. I feel like it’s not necessary usually and often contributes to battery drain which iPhone 14pro certainly doesn’t need so usually I run in LTE but when I need it the speed is definitely there. But battery health is down to 89%- I have impeccable battery care. Charging habits usually leave me at 95/96 % at this point in the life of my previous iPhones batteries. I feel like Tim should be giving us a free battery replacement this time around; these batteries seem to be lower quality than the previous years.
I walked around Center City Philadelphia with my 13 Pro Max grabbing photos, video back in the Spring ...and never saw the "5G UW" - which many parts of the downtown area has. I DO believe Verizon has put some restrictions on my coverage. Not an unlimited plan...older 3gb per month limit, (unlimited texts) that goes back 4 years, it fits me,my phone is on WiFi 90% of the day and the unused GBs just roll over each month. Just simply dont need all this unlimited nonsense and a high bill. Verizon no ques. hates this outdated plan I and many others have -- and KEEPS emailing me, texting to upgrade. Nope, I'm good.. BUT...having this lower plan, I'll get 5G rarely & again, never saw the super fast MMwave UW 5G. 🙄 It's like some "punishment" from these lame phone corporations. Not a big deal and it's probably saving my battery from draining faster anyway with this 5G silliness.
11 Pro Max here. Almost 4 years of usage and 78% battery health. Going to change this year because even though the phone still works perfectly, a degraded and old battery is not great to have
The battery issues are the same for me too. I notice a friend of mine at work who has the new Galaxy flagship and he plays music from youtube in our bar .. with his screen on and goes home without charging the phone... the phone stays on for 8 hours at least with music, screen bluetooth and data on! And when he comes to work it is never fully charged and im always impressed! My iPhone 14 pro max is as Brandon explained ... pretty dissapointed
My phone is at 88% but it’s sooo good on battery. Like I use my phone constantly for work and I rarely have to plug it in until I’m home after 10 hr workday. 👌🏾
Battery is weird for many - my 14 Pro Max is at 100% health since getting at launch. My 12 Pro Max was towards 90% for a similar time frame, and is currently at 87% as my son uses it daily. Battery life for me is excellent.
This is sad… I have the same issues on my 14 Pro. And especially battery, battery health and temperature issues. But since I can't buy anything this year, I'm holding on to the good things. The camera is perfect, the dynamic island is gorgeous, the size fits perfectly on my hand… Can't wait to battery health goes below 80%, so I can use my AppleCare+. And thanks for your content. You are an inspiration to me.
I got a 14 Pro Max in October last year and my battery health is at 96% with a 5-7 hr daily screentime. The only major issue I have with my 14 Pro Max is that its very uncomfortable to hold while gaming in landscape mode. Rest all is good.
@BrandonButch, didn't your 13 Pro technically go down to about 88% battery health? What's the difference between your battery usage on the 13 Pro compared to the 14 pro? Because I recently just watched your video that you did last year on how you purposely made your battery capacity go down all the way to 88% in the same amount of time as you've had the 14 pro. I guess the question I have, is, did you use your 14 pro normally and were you following all of the safety guidelines? I'm just trying to understand. Keep up the great work as always, and I love your videos!
Mines still going great, 100% health, still going great since I got It in January from the 11 pro max. Big step up. Won’t need to upgrade to 15 pro max, I’ll hold out for about 2-3 years with this one
My 13 pro max currently sitting on 89% battery capacity. Had it since launch day. I want to upgrade to the 15 pro max this year just waiting to see if it’s actually worth it lol if not I’m just gonna replace my battery. 😂
I have an issue with iphone 14 pro max the screen is flickering after watching hdr content while setting my brightness is low at 50% and less and this issue happens when i open a photo took by the raw mood!! Anyone has the same issue??
The Dynamic Island is very cool feature but still feels like a gimmick as barely any apps other then first party or ones that mainly give priority to iOS when it comes to development (ie: the develop first for iOS then you get the android update weeks - months later)
@@sltorrasit is a gimmick it’s just a live notification. That is it. I would rather have 2 smaller pill holes cut from the display instead of what we got just for a live notification. Dynamic island isnt good enough to outweigh what it takes up on the display. (the pros dont outweigh the cons)
@@IamBATMAN2024it’s a gimmick because you say so? I don’t think so, it may be a gimmick to you but for others it’s a nice, functional feature. Your opinion is noted but it is only that, YOUR opinion.
@robhughes8516 it's the same as you saying the dynamic island is a nice feature that is also "your opinion" everyone is entitled to their own and getting upset over it is ridiculous. Remember every "feature" a company puts in their product is just another thing to get people to buy their product, and the Dynamic Island while also being a great solution to punch holes and first party apps it is also very underused to the point that it feels like a gimmick because 3rd party apps don't really take advantage of it.
@@Heiliux but you forget something. Those punch holes what you consider as great solution, only contains one sensor, the camera sensor. So it's only capable to 2D scan the environment, which is make it unsafe to use, because it will recognize your face if it looks your facebook profile picture.. Even Google doesn't allow to use it as peyment confirmation.. so for those who are not selfie camera addicts, even that punch hole is a gimmick with no usable feature, just a useless cutout from the display.. Meanwhile the DI at least have usable features built in, even if you don't like the software part, you still enjoy the benefit of the hardware part with 6 different sensor to safely identify yourself..
For the Dynamic Island (DI) it’s really nice that they improve the feature and especially that now it’s an expansion of the notifications I’m glad that the iPhones 15 gonna have the DI so everyone can have and enjoy that feature Again a feature exclusive to the iPhone, just like FaceID

So weird, I'm still on 97% battery life after a year with my iphone 14 pro. I have been charging it daily at nights (low power adapter with USB-a cable) As for the esim, here in EU we have providers give us QR code for esim activation. Works flawlessly, haven't had a single problem ever.
I feel kinda the same, it’s my First iPhone, and it’s way better than all my 6 previous android phones (different brands). The only thing that I really find annoying is the fact that the cameras are sooo big that even with a phone case, it is not stable on a surface
Using my iPhone X since November 2017. Had to change my battery once when it dropped down to 52% adding to weird performance and ghosting issues. That was after exactly 4 years after buying. Using it now almost 2 years later with the newer battery currently at 82% because I've always played heavy games on it for prolonged periods. Have no problem yet with the phone. Faceid is working fine. Speakers are fine. No 5G? No problem. Faster the internet, more is the use and more difficult to stay away from your phone. This phone works like it is hardly a few months old.
What’s the process of getting your esim set up in the US?? It sounds awful! In Poland you literally have the simplest of setups with Orange Flex which is the one I used. 1. Choose a plan 2. Select the number off the the list of 10 (refresh if you don’t like the ones that are being displayed or transfer your current number) 3. Choose e-sim as your preferred card 4. Confirm your identity using either your bank or ID card 5. Pay for the plan you chose in step one 6. Install the e-sim 7. Enjoy This whole set up took me about 5-10 minutes from start to finish and I didn’t have to call any customer service reps or anything. Everything from the comfort of the app. I don’t understand why other providers don’t make it as easy as that. It really doesn’t have to be complicated.
I bought my iPhone 14 Pro in November 2022. Current battery health is 97% and I live in Florida. I like the phone. My iPhone 13 Pro Max is 88% battery health. I bought it in November 2021.
I have the 12ProMax and I’m glad I skipped the 14 ProMax. The battery issue with the 14 Pro series would have caused me major problems. 15 Pro Max here I come.
The only people complaining about battery health are those addicted to their phones. I can guarantee you that screen on times for those people are 8-10+ hours per day and they also use fast charging or and MagSafe that will essentially fry your battery from extreme heat exposure. Use a 5W charger and I can promise you that battery health anxiety will be in the past. Not rocket science 😊
Thanks for the review. I'm happy you addressed the negatives in this phone and didn't skimp on them. Yes, the eSIM debacle is real, and be ready for it if you're saying goodbye to your old phone with a physical SIM tray. I've wasted countless hours with my carrier's customer service, and in the end it was all for naught. I had to switch to another carrier, and though their internet networks are bad (they're a T-Mobile MVNO with deprioritized speeds), it's still better than no service. I don't know about the battery. I keep hearing about different people struggling with their phone's rapidly diminishing Battery Health capacities, but everyone's phone's battery is different, and they can age faster or slower depending on their circumstances. I guess we all have to wait and see, but annual or biannual battery replacements are far cheaper to perform than buying a new phone, so it isn't a big problem in the grand scheme.
Launch 14pm has 100 health still thankfully. I do my best to keep it from getting too hot. And also do a lot of battery saving measures. Glad it seems to be working so far
I use T-Mobile. 5G everywhere and fast as hell. 300-400 mbs at home...100-300 everywhere I go all over Utah and Oregon. Love it. When I went back east to Ohio on a road trip I had 5g 90% of the trip and good speeds. 100+

I went from the 11 pro to the 14 pro max and the first few months my battery life was so ass I had to buy the battery pack to get through the day now I’m in iOS 17 and my battery life has greatly improved I don’t even need the battery pack anymore
I’m from Miami, FL but live in Seattle, WA and my battery health is at 86%… I’m the type to take care of my stuff and the temperatures here in WA a much milder compared to FL (I moved in Jan 23). Apple really needs to extend the battery warranty on the 14 pro/pro max.

I still have 100% battery health since January.
I got mine in May and I hope i'm good on the battery. I have friends who replaced the batteries at apple during fall 2022 and they are all down to
Summary: Let me tell you how confused I am (expecting to hear all the bad things) = I really LOVE this phone!

I’ve had a great experience with this phone, only issue is my battery life since I came from a 13 pro max…and battery health sitting at 88%, and like you said minimum focus distance and some trouble focusing on macro , otherwise great phone
I'm glad I didn't go with the 14, I still have my 13 Pro and love it, but I plan to get a 15 Pro this year
@@saplays8473 i gave my 13 pro max to my father it was a bit large for my daily usage but I agree it was a great phone and in some ways better , there was less procsssing on the photos , much better battery, better minimum focusing distance and no trouble with macro focusing on things which I have on this one

My battery health is at 90% from launch day 14 pro but I haven’t noticed a decline in daily use. Makes me wonder if it’s the chip heat, FL heat or maybe they are just getting better at correctly calculating the health and it’s not an issue

you better get a new one before you do notice the decline 🤣. But seriously I do think it's partly to do with the record heat
@@BrandonButch nah, unlikely. I think the sensor inside the BMS is reporting bogus data. Check your capacity with Coconutbattery. Mine is actually ABOVE the factory standard (a.k.a. design capacity) but the phone shows 99% already. I've had my 14 pro for just over 5 months now and it is still at 100% thankfully. My brother with the pro max, however, has been experiencing issues with his battery within the first year. So we'll see what happens!
Same thing happened to me, on month 8-9 the % went down by 2% and every month after has been going down by 1%.

Got mine in February and it’s holding up great. Battery health is still at 100% but I have to say I only use 5w charger and MagSafe only through the battery pack when I’m on a trip or something. I am more satisfied with this one than what I was with the 13 pro.

Ive honestly baffled by all these complaints regarding battery life. Launch week iPhone 14 Pro Max and I’m still on 97% battery health

One aspect to consider, was your device a TMobile phone or an unlocked that you took to TMo?
A mixed of unlocked from Apple and bought from T-mobile too. It’s pretty easy to me.
It was an easy process till t-mobile changed their policy and won't allow customers to switch using EID anymore. You have to call or go to a store very inconvenient. When I asked they said their are enhancing the website for security and better customer experience and that was 6 months ago.

Even Google doesn't allow to use it as peyment confirmation.. so for those who are not selfie camera addicts, even that punch hole is a gimmick with no usable feature, just a useless cutout from the display.. I use original Apple Charger 5W on all of my iPhones since 3GS ,, with original Apple Cable 2m ,,
I plug it in before I go to bed and leave it charging until next day just before I leave the room .
Slow Charge >> Slow Discharge
Slow Charge >> Longer Battery Life
10% to 100% in 4 hrs. (with 5W)
So weird, I'm still on 97% battery life after a year with my iphone 14 pro. I have been charging it daily at nights (low power adapter with USB-a cable)
As for the esim, here in EU we have providers give us QR code for esim activation. Works flawlessly, haven't had a single problem ever.
I hope iOS will eventually get a manual white balance control for taking better moon pictures at night
I just got the black iPhone 14 pro a week ago and so far I am in love with it
I feel kinda the same, it’s my First iPhone, and it’s way better than all my 6 previous android phones (different brands). The only thing that I really find annoying is the fact that the cameras are sooo big that even with a phone case, it is not stable on a surface
Good good 👍
I like how the camera lenses look, so to me it makes up for it 😅
Thanks for the info, still happy with my 13 Pro purchased new in Oct 2022. Still don't see a lot of 14 series out and about.
designed to get you to upgrade? the battery going down hill over time?
I’ve had my green 13 pro max since it dropped and I live in Florida and still have 100% battery health
1. Choose a plan
2. Select the number off the the list of 10 (refresh if you don’t like the ones that are being displayed or transfer your current number)
3. Choose e-sim as your preferred card
4. Confirm your identity using either your bank or ID card
5. Pay for the plan you chose in step one
6. Install the e-sim
7. Enjoy
This whole set up took me about 5-10 minutes from start to finish and I didn’t have to call any customer service reps or anything.
I bought it in November 2021.
idk i have mine 14 pro for like 8-9 months now and its still on 100%
Thanks for another great video. I currently have an iPhone XS so I can’t wait to upgrade to a 15 Pro next month 😄
Keep the awesome videos coming
I have the 12ProMax and I’m glad I skipped the 14 ProMax. The battery issue with the 14 Pro series would have caused me major problems. 15 Pro Max here I come.
My regular 14 since last September is still at 100% battery capacity . Don’t know how.
I got the iPhone 14 promax last September and it’s also at 91% battery health. Other than that it’s in great shape.
I've got more scratches on the Pro Max this year than any previous phone. May start having to put screen protectors on when i get the 15.
3:01 What's that wallpaper ?? i need it
Do you get the same problem with battery degrading like me? I got mine since March and it's 92% now like.. it's even worse than my older ip11
I had those same seats for the first F1 race in Miami!
Thanks to your battery saving tips my 1yr old 14 pro is still at 100% battery. :)
Ive the same issue , my battery health is very low this year . Its 90% (after a year) . my previous gen iPhones always were at 100 - 98 % .
I have the 12 pro max. My battery health is at 87. Worth upgrading here soon or hold off?
88%, good charging habits, got the 14 pro since the day of release
I am super disappointed
Got the iPhone 13 on launch, heavy user and now my battery is at 88%
14 Pro is great.
Holy cow, my battery life remaining is 87%. Can’t believe it lost that much capacity in not quite a year for me.
I upgraded from 12 pro max to the 14 pro max and lived this phone. The battery is a beast for me. Also battery health at 96% and got on day 1. I’m happy with my 14 pro max but we see what the 15 pro max as to offer and then I’ll decide if I’m getting the 15 pro max or not.
have you put any protection for lenses of camera or not???
Are there issues with "burn in" with an always on display?
I got the phone at day one and my battery life is 95%. It’s upheld perfectly.
Your seashore wallpaper looks cool, where’d you get it from 🙏
