I admire the speed at which she speaks. When watching most UA-cam videos, I usually set the playback speed to 1.5 or 2.0. Excellent job, Paige! Your content is incredibly beneficial to me.
Awe I can't tell you just HOW happy this makes me, the comments section is always telling me to slow down my speech, but I'm the same as you, I need to watch most things on 1.5 or 2.0 speed because otherwise it feels like people speak at the speed of molasses. 😂 And so glad the content itself was helpful too!
Hi Paige I am loving your video, Can you advise I have a crystal shop I am starting however I can't see where in squarespace to enter the cost of goods or the wholesale amount I paid for the product. Is there a way to be able to enter the wholesale and retail prices so I can accurately monitor the profit and have access to the information on hand to create sales?
I have a question about the Store Policies section that you mentioned. I have legal documents for my website disclaimer, shop policies & terms of service, and privacy policy. They are located in the footer of each page of my website. Is it be acceptable to include a hyperlink within the Store Policies section that corresponds to my actual legal documents or do I need to copy/paste them in the Store Policies text blocks?
I can't add video to the item when I click on edit product, only pics. You can't add a block below the product either, to put the video there. And you can't add a button to link to video either. Ive spent lots of hours building this website, running into this is a real problem, enough to make me go with another platform. Its crazy to me that I can add photos but not video!!!???!!!
Yes, correct! In order to have their site live, they need to pay for a Squarespace plan. Btw definitely watch this if you want to learn more about selling Squarespace templates, it’s with Big Cat Creative who sold over $1M in Squarespace templates! ua-cam.com/video/RqJf92rVslg/v-deo.html
Hey Elizabeth! Great question - depends on the booking site platform you're using. You can for sure integrate many things into Squarespace using the code-block or embed options (email list sign up, appointment booking links etc) so it's possible! Will just depend on what you're using!
Hey Nkechi! Yes - I totally agree - there are some limitations for Squarespace E-Commerce, but I've found for many purposes, especially smaller stores, or those that also offer services or have a website that is more than just a store, it can be a great solution. Which is your fave platform for E-Commerce?
@@PaigeBrunton thats true - it does work for some shops. And the great thing about Squarespace is simplicity. With Shopify, the plethora of apps can be confusing to choose from and manage. And I also don’t like that each app sometimes has a separate log in and management from Shopify. I think it’s messy. Despite that my fave is Shopify, because it’s built more specifically for e-commerce. I love the two platforms for different reasons so it’s a tough choice. 😀
I wanted to watch this, but I can’t understand you. I thought I had hit a FF button or something. If you could slow down a little bit it would really help.
You're talking too fast. And 18 minutes in as you start moving things around, creating a button for "shop" you are zipping through different screens so fast that I pretty much stopped watching.

Hello. How can I not show all of my products even if I have Categories and subcategories set up?
Hi do my customers need to purchase a package after purchasing my square space template?

As an e-commerce web designer, my biggest concerns are the quality of automated email, social media and SMS marketing with Squarespace.

There’s actually a setting on UA-cam for all videos- the gear in the right corner- you can slow the video speed down :)
Paige can I say something you’re videos are great but my god slow down with the talk it’s like trying to listen to someone going at 100 mph lol
speak slowly thats the trait of wisest people😄
where's the fire......slow down...pause for breath!!!
You can clearly see that the fire is on her head.
