In Dallas several young people whose toxicology reports just came back died from this synth opioid. He’s right - the more we attempt to regulate the supply the more deadly analogs appear. Thanks for pointing out the damaging sensationalism and oversimplification in the media. There is no simple explanation, no simple solutions.
Regulating by the state has nothing to do with it. It's the fact that cartels now.Have an actually have had top shelf pharmacists and chemists making their drugs. All you need is a chemist to make drugs. And if you think these are deadly, why don't you read about Carfentanyl... When there's money to be made there will always be demand so there is no eliminating drugs. Look at alcohol one of the worst drugs on the planet. Legal everywhere.
Thank god im clean now its mad all the drugs that are out thir now scery stuff
Congrats same
@@karliann1 hi i hope your well yea i was stuck on opits for well over 33 years all the best
Same congrats
Congratulations to you all.
I'm 16 years clean of methadone after 3 decades,
And I would be terrified of the drugs these days
Keep lifted
Isotonitzene was an interesting one... the high from it lasts 12 hours, so opioid/opiate addicts would not need to re-dose nearly as often. I imagine it could be pretty cost-effective for both the dealers and buyers.
sounds like the next big big pharma drug for pain..
Dealers hate this one simple trick.
@@miiiikku lol! They're currently saving money because they don't have to buy as much volume, and because nitazenes are currently relatively unknown, they are cheap because the price hasn't spiked due to demand. From what I've observed, those savings tend to transfer over to the consumers as well. I think it'll be interesting to see how the market responds to all this.
@@miiiikku😭😭😭
It sucks. Makes you dizzy and spinny.
And everyone says it's more powerful/potent than fentanyl but it's not. Well at least not the ones I tried and I did a ton of research and tried about 6 of them. I thought it could be my answer to dealing with pain without being a prisoner to doctors so I could actually live my life and travel like I have.
Keep up the good informative work doc thanks
Oh dear Kensington and Vancouver are going to love this

I truly wish that more clinicians/ therapists would listen to your talks! I recommend you to all of my colleagues. I'm an LCSW and work inside a state prison and also do outpatient therapy. I'm seeing more and more of this drug. I think having knowledge is the best way to battle this issue. Staying up to date on research and following doctors such as yourself. One of the worst things of fentanyl is the short acting effects, making it near impossible for someone to quit when they have to “re dose” every 2 hours. Something like this with its 10-12 hour effects could really make the difference in changing fentanyl users addictive patters
On Hospice they had me on 1,500 mg methdone a day, 640 mg oxycodone a day, and 24 mg ativan a day. So the withdrawals were something else, horrid withdrawals when I was dropped from Hospice. On 170 mg methadone a day from my clinic but still feel sick and have to do a peak and through every 10 mg up because i take Valium too. Oh well at least 200 mg isn't the "ceiling" anymore.
Oh like strange weaker carafentynals.
1500 MGS OF METHADONE A DAY???????????????
@@kewsapp8480 yeah, usually 1,800 mg though
I'm taking 120mg of methadone and 4mg of Xanax and it makes me sleepy. I'm happy nothing happened to u except the fact that u probably felt like dying then facing those type of withdraws. Why so much? And I don't mean to sound like an idiot but what's hospice?
Excellent
He had me at "stronger than fentanyl"

Hi Dr. B-!!!
Ciba Geigy, Novartis and Sandoz are the names of the Swiss companies. You should know and name them.
Its hard to detect in screening from the research i looked at today.
hopefully it is not like Xylazine where Naloxone has no effect in reversing overdose. Another thing that is detrimental about Xylazine is that conventional detox medications are not effective at assisting with symptoms of withdrawal. From what i have seen in the last year, the only substance i can imagine as being helpful for Xylazine withdrawal is fentanyl citrate patches. I cannot see these Nitazene substances are going to lose any traction that they appear to be gaining. The reason i saw that is due to the vast myriad of illegal or illicit substances people use worldly basis to abuse their bodies. Damn, i had to add three new words to my computers dictionary just to continue uninterrupted writing on this subjects.
I think it slowly being switched into from fentanyl. It is not better either its more potent in the worst ways. Worse side effects less euphoria. Less comfort. More addictive. Worse withdrawls.
Why this drug still being sold as it is banned substance in UK
Great information, thankfully I'm past those days, fentinal is here ppl r dyeung grom it but its not hit the mainstream news yet i , Don'tthink people really understand how dangerous,
Or literally don't care looking to hide in that cotton wool , that feeling is great and its free, its naturally in you, and you are worth doing this for You, getting clean isn't eady but it was one if my best moves ever. Still battling some drs after 16 years, who tar you , for what u ince were, i wish drs would get back to how they were, they cared for the patient , now its how much money can they make out of you, and if they making nothing , their not interested, sad how its went , money health should not be in the same sentence, , Especially with addiction. Now im not wanting a habbut but i do need relief its crazy . And totally embarrassing , as im not after a stoning, i can get thst from the streets, its the lack of faith in me, even though clean samples for years , drives me nuts lol
This dr is different you can feel he is genuine . Thank you for sharing
A guy who I used to employee at times back in 2015 told me that a guy in their room they were renting overdosed. The police checked a syringe they found in the room for opioids and it came back negative on the field test, and they couldn't charge the guy. He told me they took it for testing and if it came back as a drug, he'd be charged. He never was. I thought at the time it was fentanyl, (it was realky coming on the scene that year) thinking maybe it got by because they were testing for heroin. But it should've been able to tell that it was some kind of opioids, but maybe it was one of these kinds of drugs. That guy was a mess. Him and his wife. I bet they're still using.
Thanks for sharing and probably right
Another reason it doesnt show positive on a drug test. So everyday workers can use it
I want out from my methadone post, my GP who was giving my Meds but the rehab therapist is making it difficult for me leave them I reckon its cos of insurance money for them,my GP agrees to give me my meds in the past and will again but then i had alcohol problem so i went to rehab clinic ,but they have to set me free from them I dont use drugs anymore and im sick of going 3times a week on the bus for 2 hours your opinion please. 7:43
In canada they are prescribing dilaudid to wine down people from strong opioid , they get 32 dilaudid 8 a day to wine down .
Very interesting upload, indeed. I always thought, Fentanyl is the strongest stuff out there.
But this brings it up to a completely new level ☠️
It's frightening in that no one knows what the long term effects of these new synthetic drugs are.
U don’t want to know, I’m in England and it’s here mixed in to normal herion, it’s bad, trust me I know.
I believe carfentanyl is the strongest opiode at the moment.
It's a sedative for elephants and rhinos
@@Oakleaf700the long term effect is there is no long term effect.
Nobody survive this longer than a couple of years.
Sooner or later you will od 1 time to hard and probably it will be sooner then later.
Game over
@@adhdminister The old fashioned opiates {prescription} - diamorphine, morphine &c were at least known - ironically where we live, methadone used to kill more people than heroin did. {Due to being sold on}- usually in combination with other things like benzos and alcohol.
Also don't forget, the illicit drug market also heavily funds human trafficking. When you buy illicit drugs, your hurting lots of people not just yourself.
These drug are so frightening,!. I lost my son to addiction and another is on Sublocade but almost non contact.
When my son passed away in 07, I was put on klonopin
. I might need a long taper from you if my doctor refuses to let it take that long. I tried to taper,3mg a day in 90 days and had to reinstate 😢
I'm functioning some but unpredictable day by day
I have your number
Just an update. Thanks for all you are doing 😊
I am very sorry for your loss and deeply resonates with me. I also want to thank you for sharing and supporting us. I don’t know where you live, but if we can help, we are always here.
I'm very sorry for your loss. And hopefully you can remain in contact with your second son somehow and I know that isn't always easy. Please please keep going on your taper of Klonopin and as I'm sure you do know that low and slow wins the race in the long term. What you are doing is very hard and it's painful and it's very courageous and many people are proud of you for doing it. I have been doing a taper off of my medication which is methadone from 60 mg per day to where I'm at now at 30 mg in 2 months I'm going faster than I probably should but so far it is working for me and I'm able to keep going.
Have you been able to get any emotional support or therapy after your son died? There are also support groups even online that can be tremendous. Besides my family which has been the biggest blessing in my life and has supported me so much to my journey in recovery, the thing that has helped me the second most besides my family for sure is therapy. I have been fortunate enough to have had five years of therapy. I have 20 years experience in opiates and let's just say I know quite a bit about benzos also if you ever need somebody to talk to vent to or ask a question just message me and I wish you peace in your life and I hope you the best either way. And Dr. B knows his stuff😊. Brad
Thanks Dr. B. I heard you when you said there are around 20 different types. Can doctors get ahold of this stuff and check its half life? I’ve heard the longer the half-life the longer the withdrawals and agony getting to a place where one can stop & go on sub.
Not easy. One of the issues. Needs to be isolated and formal lab
@@DrBAddictionRecovery Thank you. It sounds like these poor people have no idea what they’re getting themselves into. 🙏

You need to do something about your FB bot after bot posting the same things. Mind you I posted this 4 months ago still getting the same crap. I have blocked so many ppl
I think reason of the rise of new opioids is the availability and the legal status of precursor chemicals used to produce them fentanyl is sadly common now and enforcement agencies know the certain chemicals and can better control the imports
Im very surprised it responds to Narcan when you consider some of the isomers are 600 times more potant than Morphine. I understand quite often with Fentanyl od's they use 2 and 3 doses because its potency makes it so much harder for Narcan to knock it off the receptor. Then you have these Nitazines and they are staggeringly more potent than even Fentanyl. With all these ultrapotent opiods showing up its only a matter of time before we have to bring Diprenorphine into human medicine as a reversal agent.
Any reports of this being used as a cut in street ketamine?
My drug work keeps say the heroin in the uk now is being bulked up with this because of heroin shortage in Afghanistan so dealers are turning to synthetic opioids ive noticed no difference in strength but i have noticed heroin opioid are staying in the body's system longer or the urine tests are getting much stronger in detecting opioid. All heroin is cut with benzos in the uk has been for years now.
They are absolutely right. I mention this in one of my short videos
This stuff has been making the rounds in fake oxys, I imagine if I’d eaten the full “40mg” pill I’d have been dead, I snorted a tiny bit and was goofin out so hard.
I'm so glad I quit when I did. I've had other rc opioids like U-47,700, furanylfentanyl, brorphine and 4-fluoroisobutyrlfentanyl. Furanylfentanyl felt more like a traditional opiate but the other 2 had some strange side effects. I survived that but I doubt I would have survived the nitazines and xylazine. It is possible to use some of these relatively safely but thats pretty much dependent on whether or not its in its pure form where you can accurately measure a dose but these mixtures being passed off as dope aren't pure or homogeneous. I'm with you on destigmatizing but I think they call it a Frankenstein opiate because they are so structurally different compared to the natural opiate alkaloids and even the pharmaceuticals but they definitely use it to try to promote fear, intolerance and ignorance. I may post some odd comments but I love your work and everything you do to help improve people's lives.
With the xylazine since it's a hypnotic sedative it affects the same receptors as benzos. You'd probably have to detox with Ativan then Subutex for the fentanyl. When I used it was just the Afghan heroin or the China white then when I got clean around 2014-2015 it all started to change now who the hell knows what that stuff is.
And I appreciate you watching
@DrBAddictionRecovery i do the cali sober method i just feel the need to say psychedelics and weed saved me in so many ways
Can you do a video on the health effects that methadone has on the body…I’ve been clean but on methadone for 4-5 years now and due to my extreme anxiety disorder that I’m on disability for I don’t wanna stop taking it but am concerned about any long term effects it may have on my body…I know it dries your mouth which has caused my teeth to fall apart…
You can take medicine to produce to produce saliva, the main reason. I’d stay on methadone and most effects are minimal if risk of relapse is high
Methadone definitely caused me to have tooth decay, gain tons of weight, sweat uncontrollably which caused me to get on medication to counter act the hyperhidrosis(sweating). I wanted to get off it so bad I went from 150mgs to zero in 7 days the withdrawals just kept going and going and going 3 weeks later I couldn't take it anymore and had to go back to work and went and got on Subutex which has allowed my life to be normal and not married to going to the clinic 6 days a week.
@ryan8430 it doesn't make you gain any weight that you wouldn't gain normally. I have known a lady on methadone for years, and she is skinny as a rail. Same with the teeth. It makes your mouth dry, sure. But if you take care of your teeth, you should be okay. Most people using don't take care of their teeth. They get clean, finally see a dentist, and blame the methadone. If you're getting older, you're probably going to lose teeth anyway. The sweating is due to not having enough medication. The same thing happens with Suboxone. You can feel "not sick" but still be in an area of withdrawal. Good luck to you. Keep up the good work.
Send it ✌️
These are now in UK heroin {Drugs project analysis}
The oldskool Afghan Heroin is really a thing of the past.
Thanks to the United States. They deliberately disrupted the worlds heroin supply so the fentanyl could replace it. Just because it kills more people.
we can assume that the powers that be know this is coming, yet they are going let the market flood.
Never heard of it. Great information. I wonder if it’s called the Frankenstein Opiate because it’s cobbled together by most dealers. Since it is not mass produced legally and I am ASSUMING there is no generally accepted production method amongst dealers like there is for coke and heroin, it was given that nick name for shorthand.
It's made in illegal pharmacutical labs in China along with the fentanyl, carfentanyl, nitazine, isonitazine, xylazine.
You would be right my friend
How did my original comment get deleted? These drugs are produced in unregulated pharmacutical labs in China then shipped to Mexico then brought here across the border. Or the chemicals to produce fentanyl and nitazines are shipped to Mexico and they have chemist in make shift labs mixing the chems to produce the drugs themselves.
Another question: Is this stuff being made in filthy labs in other countries? Do the makers even know what they’re doing?
Great question. That is the problem

I saw a local news item here in the UK last night about this stuff now being a thing. I’d like to think I have a level of protection from this stuff being on buprenorphine
Yes. Get the bup prescribed
@DrBAddictionRecovery can’t believe I didn’t do it sooner. Had a brutal change over from methadone but I have found that I’m actually far more stable on the 6mg of Buprenorphine than the up and down nature of methadone
We used to get all our illegal heroin from Afghanistan. {Europe} - it used to be cut with paracetamol and glucose mainly...none of this modern artificial stuff that is now showing up as Afghan supply chain is diminishing sharply .
What is really silly - UK doctors are allowed to prescribe 'Diamorphine' {pure heroin} for pain.....but unless licensed, not for addiction.
It would be crazzzzzy to receive a legitimate prescription for diacteylmorphine, aka pharmaceutical grade heroin 99.9% purity, nothing else added to it at all.
I didn't know that! Thank you for sharing.
I thought that was stopped in 1962?
@@tonymalony4382 No.. It was clamped down hard after a few West End doctors prescribed ''Rashly''.
There were always rare doctors that would continue to prescribe for 'addiction' - and still are, but it's unusual.
One of these, Dr John Marks said in an interview
''Methadone is toxic muck and should be banned'' {I do agree with him in some ways why prescribe something worse -{methadone} more addictive and much harder to withdraw from than the heroin it is supposed to replace?
It was methadone's beastly physical addictiveness for so long that got me to discover Dr B's Channel, eventually reducing down from methadone to Subutex.
