This lovely piece reminds me of very many years ago when as a teenager I played flugel in the band at the long defunct Bradford Temple Corps. We were not in NYSB's league but the band was certainly competent under the leadership of Bandmaster Derek McKelvie. Those were the days! PS: A good many years later I was privileged to be Bandmaster at Halifax Citadel (UK) when Ray Steadman Allen was guest for our band reunion weekend. My wife and I hosted him in our home: not only a wonderful musician but also a true Christian gentleman

Having words displayed is nice ! Thanks for sharing
A Wonderful piece carefully played - I played it at my best friend's funeral service
One of my favourite pieces, beautifully played. Made so much more powerful and poignant by having the words displayed.
Sensitively played. Beautiful phrasing, beautiful dynamics and emphasis. Lovely tone.
A classic 🎉composition - and on ongoing blessing. ‘Shepherd, hear my / out prayer’
Wonderful!
my father's favourite. He conducted it heavenly even if his band was not quite at the same level as NSB.
