That would actually be interesting. Send one of those high tech, life like humanoid robots into a bar or somewhere and see how they react and if they can figure out that it's not a real person. I'd watch that, lol.
Imagine if this happened with humans though. You're minding your own business and a guy that looks human enough walks up and only repeats exactly what you said back to him, with the exact same facial expressions and everything, and then just loops what you’ve just said when you try to confront him on it. And then you're somehow dating by the end
There are levels of whit and stupidity and this comment thread..... it's a joke bud but yes, people fuck robots too! Now we allllll get the funny!? Lol
This is by far your best most advanced spy yet. Cuttlefish are intelligent creatures that can easily identify foreign objects from friends, but the work and effort your team puts into this is astounding and convincing to even the human eye. GREAT video!
I imagine they don't experience things like time and 'identity' of objects/cuttlefish in any way similar to people. they do engage in deception so they have to have some sense of 'who is this REALLY?', but i guess if the deception doesn't follow a common pattern (like fleeing when when confronted in a submissive disguise), they no longer recognize it as disguise. Maybe it was so unconvincing that he stopped thinking about it as either competition or mate, and just thought it was a weird toy he didn't want to share.
Fascinating. The fact that he didn't care that the spy change in front of him. Makes you wonder if he only attracted to the patteren. Male? Female? Don't care, your patteren is hot! It looks real convincing too.
Its magnificent. its clear he doesn't know its a fake spy camera, but at the same time it at some points seems to realize something is not quite right.
The fact the cuttlefish are capable of changing patterns individually from one side to the other is astounding, makes me wonder what goes on inside their minds.
WOW! I never knew cuttlefish did those patterns! That robot you made - genius! Even the other cuttlefish fell in love with it! Funny how he chased the other one away! This is all mine!!!! 😆
Wow, I've never seen or know Cuttlefish even exist. Those are crazy intelligent creatures. It's fascinating how aware they are of their bodily process that they even can imagine from what directions other might see their emotions in the patterns at display. I think I've found one of my favorite aquatic animals here.
didn't know these fish had patterns, even cooler was how the other was "talking" secretively by displaying patterns on just the side facing the robot, and looking around while doing so. Just that was really cool to me, to see a sort of social intelligence like that in a fish literally put on display.
The animal beauty that can make the mine happy. I want to go traveling again and again when i see this video . Thanks for sharing this video, and nice sharing. Have a nice day❤ !!
You and your team always give me goosebumps of excitement with these clips. However, this one has to be the most enthralling one I've watched. I am in awe of Cuttlefish and Octopodes. So much so that even though I love 'calamari' and octopus as food, I've chosen to stop consuming them. It might seem a bit loopy but I believe they are more intelligent than humans. They communicate on a level that we haven't fully understood, and can problem-solve at a human level. Their bodies are far more adaptable and flexible than humans, allowing them to accomplish things we can only dream of. Further, they live in an insulated environment with predictable, stable 'weather' (for want of a better explanation). We, for some strange reason, evolved to live in the most unpredictable climate on the planet. Land-based. Which is the more intelligent?
One day the spy robots are going to be so advanced and realistic. The only way we’ll be able to tell which is real and which is fake, is from the robot having a camera for an eye.
Robotic impostor Reaper starts direct diplomacy with the young Reapers. To notify them not to worry about the humans in this universe and just run away.... far away from here as these humans are completely idotic.

Well.... if you can make a male even think the robot cld be a potential mate 😉😍... what better compliment to your creation... Please keep doing this... It helps us to see animals of diff species at their most natural reactions to your experiments...
Cuttlefish, or cuttles, are marine molluscs of the suborder Sepiina. They belong to the class Cephalopoda which also includes squid, octopuses, and nautiluses.
@FaithG-s1f After your reply, I decided to embark on a little research. Fascinating creatures, to be sure. Thank you for your enlightening reply. Hope you have a great week!
Can you imagine the uncanny valley effect these robots must have on animals? Something clearly not quite right with what's essentially a spiffing imagine of them? Makes all those skinwalker memes that have gone around lately take on a much darker aspect...like, what if those are alien robots designed to pose as us and display or act out in order to observe our reaction?

Fascinating video, proves that no matter what kind of robot you create, someone or something will always try to f**k it 😂
No comments? I'll fix that
