Twice I thought "no way I'm watching an hour long vlog" but it was one of your best ever! So glad I watched. Thanks for sharing.
That's one of the best things to hear. I was hesitant to put out a video this long to be honest.
I didn't even realize it was over an hour until after I watched. Thoroughly entertaining!
@@BradOwenPoker i really love these longer videos. Sometimes you play for hours upon hours and it produces a 30 minutes video. I get that the majority of hands played is pretty boring. But i would not mind if you showed more if what it feels like to play these long sessions.
Same. I didnt even notice the time. So cool man. Thanks Brad!
Yeah, me too. Glued to it the whole time and then felt like it was a short video. Definitely liked the vid!
If anyone what’s to do a one hour long vlog, THATS HOW IT IS DONE!!!. Outstanding.
guys where an i watch all the other matches ??
When brad loses a pot it feels like I just lost a pot.
"Someone was high when they made this..."
So was Tom Dwan.
🤣
Yes I I am
Brad’s humor is unmatched, so awesome to get a few great belly laughs in w all the great playing
…I think the moral of the story is you should be Ice Fishing more.
If Brad can find ice in Las Vegas to fish he would be the GOAT!!!
This is one of the best vlogs you've put out to date! Congratulations on getting to live out one of your dreams! The fact you were able to process the loss and still appreciate that you got to live an experience that all of us watchers only dream about. That's what makes you special brother!
Patrik boarding a spirit plane is actually hilarious. Love it.
i laughed hard lol!
This was one of the most enjoyable videos I've seen, and that's saying a lot. Great play, Brad, and thanks for sharing the experience.
Loved the long intro honestly, feeling the pressure
Started this at 3am and thought I’d fall asleep as I watched, bit my nails the whole time and watched every minute. Awesome to watch you play play a full match
Impressive. Most impressive was coming back from that runner runner straight beat and still winning the 2nd match.
That second match was epic, well done on your first mega buy-in tournament. You deserved the honor of them picking you to have a chance. I hope you continue to get more opportunities in the future. Way to go!!
"I give extremely unnecessary information away all the time." My new favorite quote of yours, and a concept that is truly lost on the many. I have criticized some of your past videos but must give you credit for your implementation of these subtle yet highly effective psychological strategies.
Proud of you Brad! Seriously. I could feel the tense situations and really enjoyed the commentary of both you and the others during play. Totally appreciate your candidness and openness to your play and what you are doing to improve your game as well as ours, the viewers, by you vlogging your experiences. I wish you all the best, brother, and look very much to meeting you and watching another one of your awesome vlogs. In the mean time, make it a wonderful day, and as always, ROCK ON!!
Oh my sweet jesus. A 70 min episode!
Brad I can’t even imagine being in your spot for this experience. Not only getting to play but to just be there and soak up everything around you. I’m sure you learned so much in that little time. You are an inspiration dude!! Good luck at the tables.
It was such a cool experience. Thanks Jason.
“Money is not that important” while riding a yacht lol. Love it, Brad!
The honesty is awesome! We have had some heads up tournament. I’m not a world class just a local pro and that’s how all the early rounds go. Most players who I play with early have told me they know the longer we play there chances of winning drop quickly.
"It's like the battle of the most sincere poker players"
Got to hand it to you Brad. And I mean hand it to you twice. First for giving it your best and taking that 2nd game. Huge accomplishment. And 2nd for telling a great story in this vlog. The work you put into this vlog really shows. You captured all the right footage but more importantly, you put it all together with your signature creativity and It was really a full length feature vlog that you can def be proud of. Your best production yet. I really enjoyed this as I'm sure many others did and will as well. Thank you!

Wow tough break brad keep trying man you'll get there one day!
Brad, thank you for giving us the opportunity to share in your experience. You told us in the video when the first hand was, but most of us didn't care. I think I started watching like 80 videos in or so, but I've learned so much watching. Keep rising man.
I LOVED this episode, knew the outcome and was still sweating it the whole time, great video! I started rewatching all the vlogs and I’m up to episode 120, you’re a legend man!
Olivier is so good at articulating concepts in an understandable way, so glad he and Jamie were the commentators for your match! You and Daniel both played super well and this was a ton of fun to watch!
“I guess $200k doesn’t go as far as it used to”
Yo that got me! I can’t stand 2+2 because it’s all one big troll. But my first instinct was to check out the inevitable “Patrick Antonius Confirmed Busto” thread lol
When you're flying Spirit Airlines you're admitting the bank account is tapped
I'll be honest - I don't mind flying Spirit ... sometimes the schedules and direct flights are the best option and really, it's not so bad. The seats are hot garbage - admittedly - but I've flown to Cabo on Spirit and been very happy with it. It's also the only airline I know of that serves Ramen Cup-o-Soups in-flight, so there's that! #teamantonius #yellowgreyhoundinthesky
@@soccrian Three words. BIG. FRONT. SEAT.
@@georgeantonakos9256 Love the Big Front Seat .. I think I paid like $50-75 for it the last time I flew Spirit. Worth every penny.
48 minutes in, I can't believe I'm going to watch this whole vlog. Really entertaining though, well done.
I just got my wisdom teeth taken out and I’m so happy I get to watch this 1 hour vlog
what separates you brad from the rest is you document it all openly for us all to see, you don't hide your losses
This is a hell of a journey, I’ve been watching you for ever it seems, seeing you grow to this new stage is massive. Great job Brad and keep it up
@@Jv-fn5xg I disagree
@@BradOwenPoker ignore the trolls man. Some of your plays here were just stellar, so what you got excited and overbet the AA, considering you had like 10 min of study to prepare for one of the hardest things to do in NL Holdem I thought this episode was fantastic.
@@Jv-fn5xg Brad will be more successful with his UA-cam content. He doesn’t have the nerves/feel for the game
Brad, your channel was the first one I watched religiously and they just mentioned how popular you are. Definitely not surprising and it's because of you that I watch so many other smaller channels. Tell them that they have subscribers because of you. It's literally the truth. 🙏👍💯
lmao the Spirit joke at the end
THIS JUST IN! BREAKING NEWS! OUR TOP STORY-AVELO AIR SIGNS BRAD OWEN AS A CELEBRITY SPOKESPERSON
I started watching it thinking I will watch a few minutes get bored and leave. However, I stuck around to watch the whole thing. This was one of the greatest vlogs I've ever seen and I wanna Thank you!!!!!
"Brad is giving away unnecessary information."
I have watched Brad play at least 400 hands online, so yeah but that's just how he rolls bro!
People can say what they want about Brad. Aside from all the high level pros, no one has this much opposition research about themselves so readily available. He is making his poker career harder on himself in a way. Hope those UA-cam dollars are worth it!
Yeah it’s a great strategy to have. I give out 80% of my hands just to throw people off. I usually establish i always have it and then show some bluff then play to trap for huge hands.
@@RobJoswiak trust me they are LMAO
Brad can do the bait and switch to trap opponents who study him too much.
I love how you add comedy to your videos and play!!!! You’re one helluva poker playing great in the making my guy!!!!!
25:28 The best bluff is the one even you don't know you're making
I remember on time I was playing a home game, and thought I made a straight. I bet like I had the straight. After the opponent folded, I looked at my cards before mucking them and saw I had screwed up what my cards were, and I won with a low pair.
@@joltman81 If this were to happen to me, I'd show what I had, lol. Would possibly make someone think that I'm bluffing when I make something big, since I would play exactly as I did when I didn't, lol! Maybe get more action on my big hands then I would normally have!
@@jonathonbartos5420 I probably would have but in the moment I was shocked. I mean I bluffed myself with that hand!
This was your first time in this format and you showed well against a top draw, and got props from the commentators. Nothing to regret from that one. Thanks for sharing all of this, fantastic content.
Brad you are the GOAT. Really got me into poker more
Brad I have seen loads of your video's. This is the best one I have seen. It's well build up, great teachings, great commentary! That lady tells you a 2/5 kind of guy but for me you are priceless!
It takes balls to go put yourself out there against some of the best of the best! Keep pushing the envelope. 📈📈
"Oh shit! He's an ice fisherman too?1" LOVE THESE VLOGS!!!
Took me about 45 minutes to realize the commentators are in the same room. Lol
I didn’t realize until you pointed it out
wait what
@@movietime1185 same
Y'all didn't watch the event when it happened?! Missed some good content
Yup - when his shoulder started popping over into her screen
Olivier was right on the nose (like numerous times in the game) that you've got a great attitude, Brad, and that's one of the things in this game that you're either born with or not. We've watched you come so far cuz of that attitude and can't wait to see where else it takes you!
Also, keep in mind that Dan didn't cash either, and he wasn't in Cabo with no reason to go to bed early!
"Two really nice guys" for sure Olivier, but you gotta root for Bradders. When neutral, always back the underdog!
Announcers in any sport / game are really not supposed to root for anyone, but I would bet they both wanted Brad to win internally.. It would be weird if Dan's family was watching and both the announcers were obviously cheering for Brad, ya know?
@@colinkraft7837 Yeah, I know. Plus, even if you root for Brad, Dan seems like the sort of guy you couldn't root against with a clear conscience.
This was a game with no villains. An unusual event these days. Makes a change from all the grudge matches and dick-swinging that seems to be all the rage of late.
Number 1 poker vlogger 100%. Love how you keep putting yourself out there and challenging yourself with new things, playing heads up with some of the best in the world. Gives us dreamers some faith, maybe one day. Well played Brad.
Hey Brad! I just wanted to thank you for all the videos recently! Love you content keep up the good work❤️❤️
Thank you man
That was epic. Great job! Also pay attention to how much praise even the commentators gave you. You are a great entertainer and a great player.
I bought a Revenge range poker shirt a couple weeks back...feel like i had partial stake in you in this event :) .
spent a long time during the beginning of quarantine watching all your videos... have been real busy so havent kept up until now. Glad to see you're still making progress and killing it.
Thanks a lot Kai
You’ve come a long way. Your humbleness and honesty has made you the most popular poker blogger.
Brad, nice job! 1st time ever for that format for you, you frustrated one of the best players in the world!!! Congrats. Paul
Brad, you should be proud of your performance. Most of us can only dream of playing in tournament with this kind of buy in. You managed the anxiety of it all and held your own with a world class player. Good job man
Man you made it tough on Daniel. His call in that 3rd game was a killer and only the great ones make that call. See ya in Vegas soon buddy. Proud of ya bro
Love it when brad uploads long videos
Man it was such a ride watching those matches. Thanks for putting together this long form recap of your time down there.
Brad makes me want to get back into poker.
dont fall for it, he is a product of a few lucky circumstances its not meant to work out for many people
☝️ Debbie Downer wah wah
It depends on what you want out of it and the work you're willing to put into it. Good Luck!
It’s cool to see all those legends investing in you and your game. It’s also important to note that is exactly how a lot of us feel about these vlogs. You are the legend and we are benefiting from your years of experience. So thanks for all you do! Great video, as per usual!
Great effort Brad, best blog yet, I felt all your emotions the whole way. Even that gutted feeling of losing.
Keep your head up, You will definitely get your million dollar bracelet in the next 3 years.
Life experience, you will eventually become the teacher and not the student.
Patrick getting on Spirit I was dying 😭 Brad so funny!! You played well brother..head up you will laugh at this video sometime when a future blogger is calling you the GOAT! Love your vids keep emm up!
Hey brad. Why don’t you allow your fans to buy a piece? 1k for 4% on 25k tourneys. Could be a lot of fun snd fans can really sweat your action
because he was staked
I'd get in on this
you will need to request lower than 4%
@@louisgrechcumbo22xx that’s called mark up

Your face from about the 8:00 Mark until 8:30 is so human. Thank you.
Loved every moment. Epic game and great job. 👍 Heads up is such a great shift format and you played like a champ and I'm sure you'll be back soon. Awesome
Damn good run man. For a new format, a new city and facing legitimate professionals, you made us little guys super proud bro!
That backdoor str8/QQ's hand hurt my heart. Shit is rigged, 😂
It is. That's why it was no surprise two legends went 1 and 2.
I was 😡 tight seeing that runner runner.
@@vawus your a clown . Had nothing to do with the plays they made . Check out the hand ivey three bet bluff jammed on a flop of 1034 raindbow with 79 suited .

Really enjoyed your intro, your sharing of info and i mostly enjoyed what I thought was some damn good play.
I am paused at 49:00. I have seen guys that were less stressed in the delivery room watching their wife birth their first. Just messin’ with you.
Keep it up Brad. I look forward to your videos, more than any others.
Hey Brad! Just left a 1/2 cash game in my home town, sat with 400, walked with 1150, I always try and be aggressive on my draws to make people fold thanks to watching your vids!
I almost cried after that Quiggidies bad beat
This is by far my favorite video you've ever made. Bless you for this content, Brad.
A hybrid between Phil Ivey and Bear Grylls..LMAO 🤣🤣🤣.. Hilarious!!!
Ya done good Brad. I was watching to really polite guys play a blood thirsty game. You should keep it going. Plus you're the best narrator. You crack me up.!
He did it, he uploaded over an hour. Covid must be over
There’s only one better feeling than seeing Brad uploaded a video, and that’s Brad uploaded an HOUR LONG VIDEO
Patrik boarding Spirit Airlines at the end 😂. Why you gotta do him like that?
That’s some cold shit hahaha
Amazing video brad!!!! You played well. And I mean the room the yacht 🛥 the drinks in Mexico 🇲🇽 thanks for letting us tag along.
I didn't know Botez was also a poker player! I thought she just played chess!
Chess and poker go hand in hand, as you’ll find with many poker streamers too. Although most aren’t that good in chess :p
She’s not good at poker, though
I thought no she got invited as a "celeb" rather than a pro
@@ilevitatecs2 she's not good at chess too lol. Just has a stream that works because she's cute
She also doesn't have any tatoos. Pretty unusual for an american woman
Long videos usually can't hold my attention but I watched this all the way through and loved every minute of it. Awesome video, Brad!
I’ll watch an hour of poker. Sounds like a good night
This is one of the best poker vids I've ever seen. Very entertaining.
Couldn't agree more! ...and I generally don't even like watching 'Heads Up
“Dvoress is playing at a high level so Brad is going to have to keep playing at a high level”…..
KEEP PLAYING AT A HIGH LEVEL!!!!
Brad it was great seeing you heads up in that situation. I’m sure you can dissect your play and find things you did wrong…. But you make some great plays.
No play on your rockets hurts.
I have to tell you that your Vlogs have gotten me through the pandemic. There are no poker rooms open in Ontario or Quebec and cant cross the border into the US.
I'm not a fan of online either. So it's been great watching your vids.
It is clear the amount of work you put into your channel. You deserve all the accolades and opportunities that are surely coming you way. Keep it going !!
Impressive show, Brad! You played exceptionally well against one of the best for not being an expert in heads up.
Omg, this is so awesome. I saw Daniel N, Patrik A, Tom D and Ivey playing this format and looks like the same tournament.
36:40 yeah they do say bro all the time so I could imagine them saying it in their head's and in conversation about their play. I think they are saying too much and way more like bros that's been playing together for years. I know you were so nervous but you did well. Watching you for the past few years I've seen so much growth in your game. I liked that you kept it smaller in games for so long because so many people go broke trying to level up fast with higher cash games and using all their stacks. Hopefully those views and advertising on UA-cam are helping your bankroll. I do feel you'll be more of a grinder like the old school poker players.
Patrick flying Spirit haha. It's so hilarious cause I thought recently I'd save money and fly Spirit and I regretted it.
If the only way to get to a place was on Spirit, Frontier or Untied, I just wouldn't go.
It’s pretty cool to see your journey on these high Quality vlogs! Years later I’m sure your gonna appreciate all these vlogs as much as we do! Continue success in poker an in life from Chicago!! Cheers!
Look out our boy Brad. Few years ago he was scared to play 10/20. Honey our boy grew up already (Phil Hellmuth voice)
Another great vid , I'm going through all the old ones , more vids please , i think I'm learning more watching these than all the online courses, cheers.
Nice man. Im at almost 14k on hendon mob. Hope to play more.
Where's that
I liked the format of this video. The battle was entertaining and all the extras/cameos were awesome
YES! Got food infront of me and Brad uploads
3rd time watching this and still amazed at how well you played will you played against such an elite player. You've come a long way brother!! Keep it up you're gonna be the best of the best one of these days
😂 “literally told the truth everytime but still “I don’t know about you” 😂😂😂😂
Great match!! I follow Brad Owen, as you guys said, he's honest and shows his downslopes with his upwards spikes! I love how Brad explains his thinking through each hand, so we get to see a great match-up, with some honest educational personal commentary from |Brad. He's a very polite and respectful guy, and has huge respect from me!! Loved this match :)
