There are glitches in the first phase of the chase scene where after MX says Innocence doesn't get you far, when MX is singing, some of his moves were angry like after the giant MX scene.
I compared my footage to footage of the base mod from other uploads, and noticed MX has this same issue in other videos. So it's likely intended or just unfixable.

Alternate scenario where actual Mario and Luigi still exist within Super Mario Bros when MX enters the game. Instead of trapping a kid's soul inside a vessel MX goes to Luigi instead to kill him off the same way Lucas dies in the Game Over screen of the demo. Mario finds out about once MX has already left the scene, hence why he's equipped in his fire form and pissed off when confronting MX, although when MX fully transforms Mario make a run for it to the end of the level, still being pissed about Luigi throughout the whole chase. The Luigi section in the video is actually a flashback showing the events up to his death
Pretty great cover, aside from Luigi's long notes being completely butchered (cmon his chromatic has gotta be longer than that) but besides that the cover's fun overall, just having Luigi suddenly be there is awesome on its own. MARIO IS FUKCING PISSED
It is, I just don't know how to get FL Studio to work on those long notes since it works on some but not others. I know another cover fixed this issue with Luigi but due to this being quite literally my first work involving FL Studio I couldn't find the source on why they failed to work. Overall thanks for the feedback!
@@FakestLoogi Well that's fair you did pretty fantastic especially on the first go, respect for making Mario able to hit those high notes so well and not have his voice be completely tuned out by the instrumental and MX being too loud And besides the long notes Luigi did really well on his part Sooo good job
@@flaco3462 thanks! I appreciate that someone noticed that I adjusted the mixing so that everything could be heard! Mario's voice being too quiet and offtune at some points was an issue I had with SUPERMARIO's version of this cover, and mostly the reason why the one exists
Mario doesn't turn into Luigi(this is actual Luigi shown in the video, not Lucas) that entire scene is a flashback sequence showing Luigi's final moments leading up to the "jumpscare" that was shown at the beginning of the section

On top of this, my cover isn't a 1:1 copy of the cover in question, mario's voice is more audible, there are parts where he's pitched differently, and there's modded gameplay of the mod with Mario's sprites instead of still pictures. In regards to the Luigi cover, that just me being straight out unlucky with my timing that someone worked on the same thing before me. The only thing here I stole are various sprites from the original SMB Funk Mix
