I'm surprised during the sharpening of the knife that the machine was stopped and then continued afterwards. I've always been made aware that this causes potential chips/ damage to the knife itself and therefore uneven skiving of the leather. 🤔
It looks like your feed wheel is way too far away from your blade. Also, are your pulling the leather through? It looks like the feed wheel is spinning faster than the leather feed rate and you are pulling the leather through. That's not how it is supposed to operate. There should be as little space as possible between blade and feed wheel and the feed wheel should be doing all the feeding.
This is why I love youtube, excellent help for free. Thanks for the upload!
Each foot serves a purpose. Depends on your project.
That bar is a guide. You have it backwards

You have a reverse button on your motor

Price for this machine??
how do you make it run so slow? mine goes too fast....how do you adjust speed and gears? thanks
Servo motor instead of clutch. If you want wheel slower than knife, you want double servo motor.
thank you can you explain how do you use the guide
Good video... very clear!
