He wants them to be “proud” of him for avenging them, for eliminating the evil that killed them all. But what Sans doesn’t realize is that once he kills Frisk, not only is he just as bad for killing them, but some of those killed, especially Papyrus, wouldn’t be “proud” of him, but disappointed in him for stooping to their level. Sans is really doing this for his own sake, to feel like he did the right thing, when in reality, Frisk can just reset whenever they want and do the process all over again Or maybe that’s just me, idk
