I won't because they delayed the physical switch game by a month on top of charging $10 more than other consoles. Fuck them. I'll buy used later.

@@MPHswayze it reminded me a lot of Legend of Mana on the ps1, except Legend of Mana also lets you move up and down instead of just side scrolling.
I have been a fan since suikoden. Discovered eiyuden in 2022 and have kept up with it since. Pre-ordered two platforms.
so glad Motoi Sakuraba did the fighting game music for this game. His battle themes are always so hype.

It sounds like the uploader took a few audio samples and played it over "similar" gameplay - 9:46 is using the audio from the fight at 6:15.
Also why there's a lack of sound effects in a lot of this.

we all wish that was possible. Konami copyrighted all orginal characters from the Suikoden series.
Since they previously worked for Konami they actually reached out and asked if they could put a few re occuring characters in the series. Viki. Pes. etc. Konami flat out told them no. They would never allow the property to be used even if they were not going ot use it themselves. Which is why I think Konami announced and is working on Suikoden 1 and 2 remakes/remasters. Assuming they are just working on the game until the new switch releases. As it is delayed until further notice.
