Theory about 3PO’s big moment in the Rise of Skywalker trailer: remember at the end of Revenge of the Sith when Bail Organa orders that his mind be wiped? What if, in the process of Babu Frik’s reprogramming of him, he’s reverted back to his old self from before said wiping? So perhaps he doesn’t actually *DIE* like Han and Luke, but perhaps metaphorically, the 3PO we’ve known since the Original Trilogy “dies” as the cost of him being reprogrammed, losing his memories post Revenge of the Sith. Maybe I’m stretching it, I dunno, I just don’t think that *A CHARACTER’S DEATH* is something they’d wanna spell out for us in the trailers.
Awwww, I can't wait for this movie, but at the same time I don't want it to end. I really hope we get to see our beloved force ghosts at the end. That would be amazing. And I am so glad to see you posting Krister, please continue to do so
excellent fan trailer, not only does it nicely parallel TROS's trailer, but it manages to capture our emotions about the Star Wars movies as a whole, in particular our mutual love of them in the good and the bad.
